I used it as soon as I got it. My dog started barking at the flying birds, she barks at everything, squirrels, bees, etc. I would recommend this product to anybody whos dog barks incessantly. I even used it when she started to jump on me and she quit.

Very good results so far. Although you never really know what you're buying through the internet, I thought I'd give this product a try. My Pomeranian, a sweet but horribly yappy dog, responded instantly. My Shih-tzu also responded but not quite so dramatically; she's a bit deaf in one ear so perhaps that made the difference.

If the device continues to work this well, I will be thrilled. I have had that Pom for 10 years and her barking has been stressful to the point where it interferes with the enjoyment that should come with taking the pups for a walk.

Just received my BarxBuddy in the mail. I put it right to work immediately with my out of control barking terrier in our backyard. She barks at everything (birds flying over, people walking by, man with an orange shirt, bicycles, golf carts, on and on...). I have a rescue pitbull that is pretty well trained but still needs some work. Second day we have her, and she's a 2-year-old, she starts barking and pushing on my disabled husband. She was listed as a trained rescue which is why we checked her out. Anyways, at least once a day she would pull this crap because she wants treats. We bought the BarxBuddy and it stopped her bad behavior and lays down being a good girl. Mad, but good. Hope this helps!

I haven't even had the BarxBuddy a week yet, but the results right from the beginning have been incredible! My dog isn't really even a barker, but she needed to learn not to jump and push, when to drop what she shouldn't have, and other bad behaviors. She responded instantly. I always thought these types of devices were a joke. I have a 3-year-old Pomeranian who loves to alert me when anything is out of order, she would bark non-stop when we had visitors and telling her "NO BARK" sternly was not working. So, one evening I saw an ad for BarxBuddy and it was something like 50% off and free shipping - I thought what the heck, can't hurt to try it. I was amazed, within a week she no longer barks at people or anything else. Now all I have to do is let her see it and she won't bark. My brother-in-law was surprised at the transformation and ask for info on BarxBuddy to give to a friend. The downside, she doesn't bark now to tell me when someone is here. Love it.

I have an 8-month-old terrier/hound mix who barks at everything - people in the hallway of the building, dogs barking (outside, inside, on the TV), any animal appearing on the TV (he watches TV intently) - real, cartoon, painting, etc. He went on a barking binge yesterday over a picture of a cartoon dog on a van. Received the package, opened it up, put in the battery, and when some dogs appeared on the TV, hit the button and he stopped in mid-bark! I did not expect it to work that well. For the rest of the day, every time something sent him into a barking frenzy, hit the button and poof - barking stopped. I don't know how, but it works like magic! HIGHLY recommend.

It is a great tool. Tried many other products, none worked. This one really works! I would not recommend it if it didn't work.

Got the device and I am using it every time Rusty goes outside. I allow him to bark only when he is on alert bark. We have a common path behind the house and that's when he alerts to people, coyotes, and javelinas near our fence. On his mile walks daily he is getting better, still alerts to people, but does not pull me to go and greet them close up. He still alerts to other dogs that come past our front yard, but after holding the button till he stops, I think he is associating the noise with the required action "STOP."

It will take time, he is 11 years old and a coon hound takes time and patience.
