I haven't had the chance to work with my puppies yet. I know the first time I tried it, it scared my little man to death. I don't like anything that scares my little man. He is only 5 pounds and he is the reason I bought the thing to begin with. I don't want anything that will hurt any of my puppies or scare them either. If I don't get a better reaction from my other two puppies I will be sending it back.

Got the device and I am using it every time Rusty goes outside. I allow him to bark only when he is on alert bark. We have a common path behind the house and that's when he alerts to people, coyotes, and javelinas near our fence. On his mile walks daily he is getting better, still alerts to people, but does not pull me to go and greet them close up. He still alerts to other dogs that come past our front yard, but after holding the button till he stops, I think he is associating the noise with the required action "STOP."

It will take time, he is 11 years old and a coon hound takes time and patience.

I've only had it for a day, so not enough time to see final results. When barking, my dogs stop and seem confused. Then they start up again. I think it will work in time as there is a reaction. When my boy growls at me, it stops him. Now I just need to point it at him without turning it on, and he stops. That makes me feel safer and I think he's learning that growling is unacceptable behavior. That's great for one day's trial.

Order came quickly. Tried it on my dog the first time he barked and he stopped right away. He looked confused trying to figure out what he heard. Nice to be able to distract him when I need to and nothing else worked. Definitely gets his attention. In the process of training him with it, and so far the results are awesome.

No way to verify shipping. Order was delivered but was left on front steps, could have been stolen because did not know it was going to be delivered. I usually have my porch door open when expecting a delivery, but again, no way to verify it was going to be delivered.

Delivery was fast. It really works. My German Shepherd was bad at barking at people who visit, to the point that we couldn't have a decent conversation. Just sorry that she learned after only to tries. But it does what it says.

Works GREAT! Would really have given it a 4 and 1/2 star because the instructions need to clearly specify that you remove the battery and carefully look at it and remove the shrink wrap plastic around the battery itself, which is very difficult to even detect because it's so form-fitting, in addition, you have to remove the black plastic sleeve around the connection points to get the battery to work. Again, this should be very clearly written on the instruction sheet or on the box. Otherwise, the device works excellent. That is probably why some of the reviews say that the device does not work at all. Because they did not discover how to correctly unwrap the battery and the connection points and put it together so that it worked. My friend has 12 little small dogs in the house and they run in a pack. Once one barks, they all start barking and carrying on. This device worked right away and over the next couple days, they have gotten much quieter and do not jump to start barking and carrying on like they used to and drive you nuts. BarxBuddy REALLY DOES WORK.

Works great, made my dog really take notice. Was not too sure when I received it, I thought it would be already working. Then I reread the directions and put the battery in the correct way. Tried it out when my dog barked and she really moved quickly when I pointed it at her.

It immediately captured the attention of my two senior dogs. One is 16, and the other is 11. They are already barking less. They stop barking immediately when they hear the signal! Thank you BarxBuddy!

She doesn’t know how to react to it yet. She jumps and runs when she sees it in my hand even before I have used it.

However, I ended up accidentally ordering two of the devices so I need to return one. How do I go about doing that?
