Perceived benefits

By Bert Winkler, Crystal River, FL, Verified Reviewer

I have been using this product for over a year. I've read all the reviews, and the naysayers give advice about this product. My conclusion at this time is a positive experience concerning Elysium.

I do feel I am able to concentrate and think clearer now, and my energy level is very good. At 65 and I'm still working full time and as a senior technician, my concentration and abilities to perform are very good. Many supplements we take don't show a result directly as we ingest them but over time reveal their results. I believe my use of this product helps me! As others have stated, when something reveals we are doing well, keep doing what you're doing to live healthier and think with clarity.

Not sure yet...

By Peggy, Virginia, Verified Reviewer

I am 63 years old. I have been taking Basis for going on 3 months. I cannot say I notice any changes in energy, mental clarity or skin changes. I almost think I look older since taking it. But who can say? I said I would try for 6 months and will do so. Probably will discontinue after the 6 months. AT THIS TIME, I will not recommend.

Give it a chance

By Gwendelyn Mannor, Napa, CA, Verified Reviewer

I take Basis because it has been proven in clinical trials to increase and sustain N.A.D. in my body. As we age, our levels decrease. I am betting on the science of anti-aging and investing now in my late 50's in several areas of anti-aging, including Basis. I have no plans to retire unless I become ill, and taking care of my body with a supplement like Basis is an opportunity that did not exist for my parents and grandparents. The company and science check out. If you can afford Basis, you should take it as prevention.

They make it difficult to stop automatic shipments

By trudy glone, Verified Reviewer

I didn't think I signed up for automatic shipments, but I guess it's part of the program. They don't answer the phone, they don't call you back when you leave a message. Their customer service is awful, giving you the impression that it's all about the money to them. It feels like a scam to me, and I've noticed no difference from taking the $50 a month pills.

Clearly a scam

By R K., New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

Basis is a slow poison and you won't notice its effects unless you take it for a long time.

I have been taking Basis for some time now, and I have started to get anxiety for small things which never used to happen before. I have completely stopped taking it, though I don't know if I will be normal again. I didn't see any difference in sleep or waking up more refreshed/energetic.

I do know that Elysium people will do anything for money. I had taken a yearly subscription, but after I started feeling too much anxiety, I asked them to cancel my subscription and refund the remaining money. I also offered them to charge individual purchase rate for the months, they have sent me the Basis, but they flatly refused.

Their mantra is money, money, money.

False product

By Emily K., Wilsonville, OR, Verified Reviewer

Elysium is a scam. I had a terrible experience. Never experienced their claims of what the product would do for you. I decided to cancel my membership (they lock you in immediately) and of course when I did they had conveniently sent me another bottle and charged my account and I couldn’t cancel it or get a refund. Now, why is that? It’s considered a "final sale" now, I wonder why?! Because your product is a freaking scam of course...they are just stealing money people. Don’t waste your time. Most legit businesses that have wonderful and legit products care about the happiness of their customers...this place doesn’t care what so ever...once again it’s because it’s a scam. You’re welcome. I just saved all of you hundreds of dollars.

Treated fairly

By Mario C., Kingston, NY, Verified Reviewer

I took Basis for a few months and began to have difficulty with my anticoagulation medication. When I notified the company, they were quite gracious and canceled my subscription. I would urge anyone taking anticoagulants to be careful with this product. Other than that problem, I was disappointed that I couldn’t continue.

Hopefully insurance for the future

By HT, Europe, Verified Reviewer

I have been taking Elysium for about 1.5 years. I take other supplements, so I am not sure of the visible effects, if any. But I am a 65-year-old female, and my hope is that this will abate some future diseases. Right now this is what science can offer. I will never again be 65 to make a better decision.

By the way, I buy a year's worth of a product in advance, since I often travel. I could buy the other products, but I am too lazy to take pterostilbene separately.

Has worked very well for me.

By Charles H., Vero Beach, FL, Verified Reviewer

When it first came out, I was intrigued. The science made sense to me, and at my age, I could feel myself start to slow down. After about three days, I felt a difference: more energy, less fog, didn't want to nap in the afternoon, etc.

I then stopped for a few days, and before long I was back to my previous self. Repeated the process a few times. Every time I stopped, it felt like someone took out my batteries.

That was years ago. A while back, I decided to double the dosage, and things got even better. This is the only supplement I take. I've given jars to my friends, mostly good, but didn't work for everyone.

Not sure, but maybe…

By Bill Bennett, Williamstown, MA, Verified Reviewer

I have been taking Elysium for the better part of a year. It seems that I'm more focused and have more energy, but that might be for other reasons. I've signed on for a year's supply by now, and I take it every day. Like I said, maybe.

Cause I felt nothing.

By Jody H., Georgia, Verified Reviewer

I did a lot of research before investing in Elysium, and I was very excited to try it. I have used it for two months now, and I noticed NO changes. Sleep, energy, mental clarity, and skin are all the same. I also had no negative side effects.

Logically, it seems if something is working on a cellular level, there should be some noticeable benefit that can be identified. And how can the dosage be the same for a 250-pound man and a 150-pound woman?

The credentials of the research team are stellar and were ultimately what I based my purchase on. However, without some experienced identifiable improvement, I think I will discontinue use and wait for more empirically based evidence to surface. Maybe I'll take the $60 and get a massage. Now, that's an investment I can feel.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
