Not worth the money

Not worth the money, socks don’t hold up and are extremely tight, they claim your feet don’t sweat. Not true, their response was more socks that don’t hold up after a few washes fade and fall apart. Don’t waste your money!

Foot fungus among us!

I LOVE my Bombas socks. I have about 12 pairs of the athletic style. They are cushy soft and comfy.

Problem? They cause toenail fungus. Why? They just don’t ever dry. I wash them and dry them and they are never 100% dry.

Just when I think they are, I put a clean pair on, go to the gym and IF you sweat on your feet (which I have never done so before these socks) your feet will basically stay slightly moist until you take them off. If you wear them for a few your a day (like I did) you're creating the perfect storm for developing toenail fungus. This is my first time with it and I’m pretty disgusted. It affected 3 toes. Treatment so far has cost me about $1000.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Wanted to love

I bought a bundle of 4 Marino wool no-show socks. I love the design idea of a comfortable sock that stays put and I love the model of donating a pair for each pair sold. The socks feel great and are soft and comfortable. I loved them. I washed them once and they are already getting thin in the toe and are "shedding" and piling in an awful way. Really disappointed that they didn’t hold up to washing and are already looking like I will have a hole very soon after wearing them once. Not sure if I would recommend or not at this time.

Horrible horrible

I was given a 12-pack as a gift. They are no different than a $4.00 pair of Nike socks but not as appealing visually. They were not comfortable and I had the ankle ones which I could not keep on in my shoes when I was jogging, which was absurd. One would think that a $100+ pack of socks would feel good and stay on. I contacted their customer service number and was basically told they were a gift so I was out of luck, I wasn’t going to ask for a receipt but I will say this. I was thinking of buying the no-shows but after the ones I got and the horrid customer service, NEVER AGAIN! I ended up donating the 10 pairs I didn’t wear to a shelter (yea, I said 10, after the first pair was horrible I tried a second pair and it was the same so it wasn’t a fluke). These are not worth the money, eventually, I had to tell the person that gave them because they were going to order some for someone else, glad I stopped that mistake. I’d you want to brag about how expensive your socks are these are great, but if you want wearability and comfort, Walmart is just as good.

Terrible customer service

In this day and age, what company in the world has no way to do an online return or exchange? Bombas! IF you buy any product and hope to return it for any reason, good luck. They have no way to do it online. You have to do a request online and they don't get back to you for days. Even when they do respond they tell you that they are busy and will get to you soon, which, by the way, I am still waiting for. Too bad because the product is good.

Length of Use: 2+ years

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not very happy with what I have experienced!

I bought one pair (because they are expensive) and wanted to see how I would like them and almost immediately they had a run in them. Not very happy with this product for the price that it does cost. They do feel nice on but didn’t last long enough, in my opinion, to make it worthwhile to purchase more.

NOT worth the price

Every pair of the 10 pairs I purchased ripped. At approximately $16.00 a pair ($160.00!), I'm pretty bummed about it.

It's so disheartening when a company overcharges for an inferior product. Obviously, it's the customer paying for the donated pair, not the company as they claim!

Not what I expected

Was excited to order these socks because of an upcoming trip to New York anticipating a lot of walking. Put them on with my Sperrys and within 30 minutes had to pull them up. So disappointed, especially for the price.

I love these socks

I sure don’t understand why others are having so many issues with holes in their Bombas. I have several pairs of the original style and the merino wool which I love to wear during our cold winters. I have washed them many times and have not had any thinning or holes. Bombas are just about the only socks I wear now (except for hiking and winter sports) because I like how they fit and feel. Yes, they are pricey but to me, they’re worth it although I wish they were made in America instead of China.

Kinda disappointed

I loved the idea of this being a charitable thing as well as a good thing for me. I've been hearing forever how these are the best socks you'll ever own, but I guess if you hear commercials enough, you start to believe. I don't know anyone who actually owns a pair. So I finally took the plunge and, I must say, I've worn socks that feel better. These just feel like regular socks to me. They aren't even that soft. And considering I paid over $100 for them? I expected better. I'm supremely disappointed.

Holes in the heel

I was originally very impressed with the comfort of the socks and have bought over 15 pairs. Then I started having lots of holes in the bottom of my heels. No other socks I wear have had this problem. The customer support from Bombas is really good and will give you replacements with minimal questions. I just do not like to make complaints and ask for replacement socks. They really need to fix how thin their heels are.
