They are fraud

By Azi Z., San Jose, CA, Verified Reviewer

Please don’t waste your money with this company. Not only are they so expensive, there is no customer service if you return something. And customer service in China can’t communicate with you, and I called again, I was on hold for 1 and 1/2 hours and no response. They keep emailing me that we will issue a refund in 3-5 days, which never came. I finally dispute it with my bank, but they ruined my day and is so frustrating.

Actual Cost

By Maddy , Albuquerque, NM

The fine print shows that your set is $39.99 x3 payments every 4 weeks. So you're really paying $120.00+ for your initial set of makeup. Then you're signed up for another shipment of makeup every 12 weeks (again at $120). I questioned it once I saw the "free" brush. That brush is about $40 alone, so I knew something wasn't right.

So so

By Mary , Rhode Island

I have been using the Bye Bye Foundation from It Cosmetics for about a year now. It is okay, but not great. It is easy to apply and looks okay, but there is not full coverage and the medium shade is yellowish. If you notice the infomercials, Jamie looks very heavily made up and a bit clownish. I don't care for that look at all. I won't buy it again, but I will use what I have. It is okay, but not the best I have used.

Bye bye to this membership

By Lauren , Boston, MA

So I ordered this in the belief that it was full coverage and only $39.99. I didn't realize it was really about $120. I thought it was one of those things to try, and if you like it, they will keep sending it to you so you won't run out. And if you don't like it, you can just cancel after the first month. But I guess that ISN'T the case at all. Also, I ordered medium, my fiancé told me to order light, good thing I got a medium. It's so obvious my face is covered with makeup, not to mention it doesn't cover my dark circles like I'd hoped. My face really isn't bad at all, so for this to not really work on me is bad. I'm so upset.

Disappointing Results

By Cinder Rella, California, Verified Reviewer

I was excited to receive the three products I ordered directly from IT Cosmetics which were, Bye Bye Foundation, Feel the Moment Primer Serum, and Bye Bye Under Eye Corrector. It was stated in this article that customers can't purchase one item and that they're forced to purchase kits. That wasn't the case when I visited IT Cosmetics website and placed my order. I wasn't told I had to purchase a kit or have any monthly automatic shipments. It's possible at the time the article came out that buying individual products wasn't made available. And if that was the case, it isn't so now. I ordered the items and received them seven days later.

I made the purchase after seeing the ad on television. The owner was talking about how wonderful her product was and actually wiped her makeup off which then showed the reason for the makeup in the first place, which was a really bad case of rosacea. I couldn't believe how well it covered and I was sold. I wanted to cover up dark under eye circles and was optimistic it would do the job. It did not. It didn't cover any better than than other product on the store shelves but unfortunately it cost me a great deal more to find that out. I would not recommend these products for anyone wanting to cover dark circles.

Frosting for your face

By Cynthia Rosario, Mesa, AZ, Verified Reviewer

It's just makeup with a high price and it's ok but I'm so sick of hearing all these claims a product can do to change your skin. As far as the deal, I purchased the package which was the $49.99 offer. I was so excited, couldn't wait to get it, thought to myself, “what a perfect way to get good quality makeup and having the majority of makeup I need by same name instead of having to go out and purchase them individually at a much higher cost”. Now I've been wearing make up for many years and know how to apply it. The first time I used it I thought I did something wrong. The powder defined every single line knock and cranny I had, even ones I didn't know I had, I looked old. So I thought I'll use less next time but no matter what I do, it sucks. The eyeliner smears and is way to moist, for a pencil eyeliner and I wasn't happy with any of it, I'm returning everything.

Drying the skin and ages the faces.

By CJ, Colorado, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the Most Beautiful You collection through the tryitnow.com promotion, which provided the Bye Bye Foundation, the concealer, the Bye Bye pores powder, the lip flush, hello lashes mascara, no tug eyeliner gel, the brow pencil and the face disc. For a couple weeks it felt great on the skin, it matched my skin well. But the more I wore it the more it started to dry my skin and actually exaggerated fine lines on my face, as well as started to clog pores.

The foundation itself is not a sun screen, as my face started to get tanned through the makeup from just walking the dog, noticeable to others who asked if I had been on vacation. I would not suggest it for the long term. I am not sure if it was the foundation or the powder, but it actually made my pores look bigger and got them clogged.

The eyeliner gel is very dark and very hard to get off, after a couple weeks it started making my eyes water. The brow pencil is not a universal color and I felt a little like a clown, you would need fairly dark eyebrows and thick eyebrows to pull it off. The hello lashes is easy to apply with the applicator and a nice color, it does however smudge like a football players eye markings, but if you will not be crying, putting in eye drops or touching your eyes, it is comfortable and looks nice. The Face disc blush and bronzer are actually nice on the face, the highlighting color is very sparkly and sets in creases under eyes, and glitters if you place it as directed on forehead, nose and chin. The concealer is very thick, and clumpy once on the face. The lip flush was nice, just like any other lip balm, but it does not have SPF, so be cautious.

Overall, I originally liked the products but the more I wore them they were either irritating or unflattering. The part that was unbearable was how dry it made my face and how much older I looked after 3-4 weeks of wear. I would suggest you save your money and get a BB cream with SPF in it.

Terrible product

By Kathy, Orange, TX, Verified Reviewer

This product did not live up to its claims. I mainly bought it because of the high level of SPF, so if it only worked as well as a drugstore BB creme, I would have been okay with that. Not only did it not cover imperfections as advertised, it left my skin feeling dry and wrinkles on my forehead were visible that were not noticeable before without any make up at all.

After I pumped all the air out of the tube (who puts a pump on a tube?), it was only about 1/3 full of product. I will be sending this back but will be out shipping cost both ways. Also, watch out out for the auto ship clause.

It's okay but not worth $50.

By Karen, Northridge, CA, Verified Reviewer

After seeing the infomercial, I figured I would try it. I bought the $39.99 kit which came out to $49.00. First thing I did not like was the auto-shipment/auto pay. I figured that if I really really like this stuff then maybe it's ok. Here are my reviews on the make-up I received.

The foundation itself is actually nice. I liked it. Unfortunately it doesn't last. I am used to my long lasting Revlon's Color Stay. This foundation did not last at all. The powder was horrible. It's ORANGE. I felt like an Oompa Loompa! Ridiculous. The concealer was actually good. I liked that. I also liked my free gifts-two-sided brush and highlighting powder.

The mascara? Well, their mascara has a great butterfly brush but the mascara itself is horrible. Does not last. The lip stain would have been OK if it wasn't so PINK.

All in all, I will continue to go to Target for my make-up. I did not have a problem canceling the auto pay/shipment. I called and told them I wanted to cancel. They said they had something new but I didn't want to bother. It's definitely not worth $50 every month.

Another Infomercial lie

By Amy, Washington, Verified Reviewer

I tried this product because I believed in Jamie. What they show on the infomercial is trickery. It's like I'm putting nothing on. The only product I actually liked is the Lip stuff. I have a box of the product I received after my 12 weeks (which was actually much less than 12 weeks) that I am going to have to fight to get sent back. Luckily, my bank changed their card numbers so I don't have to worry about getting overcharged. Don't get this stuff!

Not everything it claims

By Teri, Tallahassee, FL, Verified Reviewer

After a long and exhausting decision I decided to purchase the IT Cosmetic line at Ulta, as the return policy is great and no gimmicky sales are involved.

I'm very disappointed in the Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+. Reasons: it goes on heavy thick and feels just as heavy, it's shiny to. It does not cover as well as what the pitch says, it highlights wrinkles and does not cover small dark freckles, etc.

Superhero Mascara: This goes on clumpy, the wand would be better if curves and smaller bristles were on it. I had to use my other curved fine bristle wand to apply the Superhero. It flaked too.

Lipstick: it doesn't stay on but 5 minutes, leaves my lips feeling dry.

The IT You Sculpted: This is okay if you're looking for slight definition. Beware it's a pain to brush out if you've messed up.

Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof Concealer: A pin sized amount goes a long way, which is great but removing it is a pain.

Confidence in a Cream Moisturizing Super Cream: A dab of this very, very small product goes a long way. The smell is nice, however I'm not impressed.

Vitality Cheek Flush: Not bad, this is like the rest of the blushes on the market. My recommendation is good for this, but save your money and purchase one that's not so pricey.

Build a Brow: It seems to do okay, it's thick and goes a long way. It stays on and so far no issues with this.

Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder SPF: This comes with the sponge in it, nicely laid out design of this product. I like the option of applying with a brush or sponge. It does come off on clothes, etc., when it comes in contact with anything, and this is not a pain to wash off. It doesn't cover everything like its counterpart foundation cream. And it's not as bad with wrinkles to.

Both the liquid and powder instruct you to apply after two hours of being outside in any type of situation where you get wet, sweat etc. Sorry, but I'm not doing that, what a pain right.

IT Brushes: They are fantastic.

The Your Contour Must Haves Airbrush Sculpting and Highlighting 2 Piece Brush Set: Don't purchase this if you get the IT Brushes from Ulta, the brushes in the large kit are better. So to purchasing the contour kit brushes is a waste of money in my opinion.

This product line might be for someone that is younger than me, I'm 50, and who doesn't have a large pore problem, or wrinkles and for a non-outdoor woman, or better for someone that stays inside a majority of the time.

I'm taking a majority of everything back to Ulta today, I have my receipt, the boxes that everything came in and I'm still within the 60 day return policy window, about one week left actually. This is the first time I've left any review anywhere.
