Bye Bye Foundation Reviews

I bought this on an impulse at Ulta because of the gift with purchase. I would never buy makeup online unless it was something I've used previously and I refrain from anything that auto ships. I grabbed the light foundation and light concealer and the gift included nice sized samples of the concealer, eyebrow pencil, and mascara. There were also little packets of the foundation and a moisturizer. First time I used it I was impressed. I am 56 and have relatively good skin but its super sensitive and for some reason, most foundations do not go on smoothly.

I've used everything from drugstore brands to high-end foundations. I've tried mineral, cremes, BB, CC you name it. I've tried brushes, sponges, airbrush, my fingers, everything with not so great results. The first time I used the IT foundation, I used a foundation brush and sponge and really took my time. I was happy with the coverage and my skin looked moist and smooth. Next day I was in a rush and put the foundation on just my moisturizer: one pump in the palm of my hand rub my hands together and pat the foundation into my skin. The result was wonderfully even and no streaks. This is now my preferred method. You could not tell I had foundation on.

Now as for improving my skin, I can't say it has made any significant improvements but it doesn't irritate and it comes off easily with makeup remover oil and micellar cleanser.

I like the concealer but I think it is too light for skin and I ended up using it for highlighting (older skin you want to stay away from shiny or glittery so this works well). I absolutely LOVE the eyebrow pencil. It's blade shaped and the consistency is ideal for someone with sparse brows like mine. It's easy to apply and goes on light and looks natural. I haven't used the mascara or moisturizer yet so can't comment on those. I would recommend this product line if you have sensitive mature skin and want full coverage. I strongly suggest going into a store and testing it, even getting your face done before investing $35.00 for the tube.

First of all I ended up ordering the 49.99 value because I wanted the mascara, eyebrow pencil, and the eyeliner which is my favorite. What I do first is I clean my face with any facial cleanser then use toner, I use Clinique. Then I put Bye Bye Foundation all over, get a tiny dot of concealer because that's all you need, then finish up with the powder just a little bit. I grab the brush, do the darker tones on lower cheeks, upper forehead, and sides of my chin. Then I tilt the brush to the side where I can apply blush. I use the little brush on my nose, under eyebrows and chin, all very subtle. Then I use eyebrow tint to fill in my eyebrows and brush it in place. After that I put the eyeliner on upper lid and lower. I'm not too crazy about mascara but that's because I'm used to wearing falsies that look natural. To finish off I put a medium brown eye shadow that looks pretty with the powder I had previously put under my eyebrows. Last is the beautiful subtle lipstick I'm obsessed with.

I have gotten so many compliments and literally takes less than 10 minutes to do each time. If you are noticing no coverage or nothing like the infomercials, then you must have wrong tone. After you order the first trial, cancel right away and when you're ready call and order again, you avoid all those crazy fees. Hope this helps sisters.

I purchases the start up kit with the trial sizes after trying the It Cosmetics CC cream that I purchased at ULTA. Both the CC cream and the Bye Bye foundation are light weight and easy to apply. Once on, they felt like there was nothing on my face and both stayed on all day. Love, love, love the Bye Bye Pores powder. It is magic and is less expensive and lasts longer than other high end products I have used. I was not a fan of the concealer as it has a shimmery look but loved the face contour disc and brush that were free with the $30 trial. I purchased this in March and the only thing that just now ran out was the foundation. This is 4 months later! When I called to cancel because I was not in need of the next shipment yet, they said I could just postpone shipment for a few months while I tried the product longer, which I did. I decided that I like the CC cream just fine and can buy it locally and cheaper than the foundation so I called today to cancel and it was easy and painless and there were no hidden fees for canceling. Overall I have had a great experience with this company and it's products.

I was stuck on stupid for years using only Bare Escentuals/ RareMinerals from my early 40's until now at age 61. When the makeup wasn't helping but making my fine lines more noticeable, it was time to change it up. Ordering the first kit of Bye Bye Foundation was amazing. Sure, it took a few times to figure out the right amount (not as much as I thought to begin with), letting the heat from my own face do it's work with the foundation and concealer. I live in a very hot climate, in Southern California desert area and this is the best for moisture and coverage, without looking too made up. I love the foundation/ moisturizer, the Bye Bye Pores and the Bronzer. The last kit, I ordered the Hello Lashes mascara and No Tug gel eyeliner. They work and I'm thrilled. I will continue to be on the customize kit plan. I only need the three piece kit, but most likely I will move ahead to add more to my collection. My skin loves the extra moisture. IT Cosmetics is not lying about how this works. I would highly recommend these products. Not 100% thrilled with the concealer. It is too difficult to remove, but then one only needs a dab.

Overall, the products are decent. I do feel as though the concealer is very thick and cakey. Mine also wore off during daily easily.

The most upsetting thing about this product is their miss advertising. When I saw the commercial and signed up for the "try it" package, that's what I thought I was getting; a one-time trial. Today I received another box in the mail as well as money being taken from my account. I opened the box to discover that they automatically enrolled me into automatic shipments and payments for the next three months. My "member price" with shipping and handling is now $131.82, and they have put that into three easy payments of $43.94.

They are being dishonest and sneaky with their customers! I called Gunthy-Renker and spoke to an agent who was not very polite. He told me that they will credit my account once the box is returned, which I will need to pay for. Guess what, you have lost a very unsatisfied customer who will tell others to stay away so that they can save themselves the headache!

After I placed an order for my 7 piece kit off of TV, I looked at the reviews online and got very worried about the negative reviews. I finally got mine and opened the box and was surprised to see how big the products were. People said they were small. Anyway, I put the makeup on and was surprised to see how easy it was to put on and it is true, a little does go a long way. The brush is awesome. I was using my fingers to apply my foundation and concealer on, but when I used the brush I fell in love with it and don't use my fingers any more. The eye liner is great, just put the eye shadow on after eye liner. I wish I could say more but out of room. Definitely try it. It does last all day, looks better after having it on for a few hours. Love it.

I ordered the Try It Now kit and I really liked the foundation. It did cover my brown spots nicely. I knew I didn't want to have a continuous shipment, so I canceled all future orders. I reached customer service with no problem. It was very easy to cancel. I also really liked the lip moisturizer which is a color that matches your lips. I can't believe that the foundation is $78 by itself however and I will be looking for an alternative foundation. They do sell this brand of cosmetics at Ulta Beauty.

This product is amazing. I am 66 and have never worn much makeup because it's too thick. The Bye Bye products are fantastic. I will send you a before and after picture if you like. I'm sold.

I get better results with a tinted sunscreen, drugstore concealer and mineral powder. The Bye Bye Foundation was thicker and shinier than I would have liked, the color wasn't a good match, and the finishing powder in the same shade was a TOTAL mismatch.

And of course, the price isn't $39.95 as advertised. It's $39.95 every month, including the two out of every three months when you don't receive any product. I'm hoping it isn't as difficult to cancel and get a refund as people are warning me.

So, I suffer from bad acne. Thanks to Proactiv and getting out of my raging hormonal teen years, I hardly have blemishes anymore, but now I have these awful acne scars and some marks. I'm always on the hunt for the next best thing to cover my face flaws up as best I can. I saw the adds on TV constantly, so I figured hey, why not.

I was stuck between ordering "medium" or "tan" because I'm kinda in between, but ended up choosing medium since it being winter and all, and to my surprise, it matched pretty well. I like this foundation, but it's NOT for someone like me. It's too light, and it doesn't cover the way I'd hoped. But then again, I have high expectations for foundation coverage considering my situation.

I actually have a $6 bottle of Glamoflauge cover up from Walmart that does a better job of covering up for a fraction of the price! This product is too pricey for me as well, and I didn't like how I'd be getting the lipstick every month.
