I love it!

By Jill , Newport Beach, California

I was first introduced to It Cosmetics from a friend and so I went to Ulta to test it out! I tried the different shades and bought the medium but it was too light and exchanged it for the tan. You can buy each item in the package online individually but it costs a lot more so when I saw this commercial, I just ordered the 7 piece package. The Bye Bye Foundation alone retails for $65 alone, so to me it's a no brainer.

I will however cancel the auto shipment because It Cosmetics last long for me (I still haven't finished my first purchase completely) and I won't probably use all of the other products in the set daily. My original first time purchase at Ulta included the Bye Bye Under Eye, Pores and Foundation. I also got the promotion bag that included a sample of the Foundation, Under Eye, the Duel Edge Brush, the Contour Brush, mascara and brow pencil, all in a cute silver bag. No complaints here except that it's expensive. So I'm all about a good deal.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Don't buy this online

By Sue, New Brunswick, New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

I saw this on TV and ordered this online. My skin got dried up and I got an allergic reaction. So I stopped using it after two days. I didn't realize until I checked my credit card the following month that IT Cosmetics signed me up for monthly delivery, which I checked when I ordered online for any fine prints, and still missed the fine print.

I called and asked to cancel the monthly shipment. I also asked for a paid return label. That was two days ago, and I have yet to wait and see.

The bottom line is, it is not worth the hassle. If you must get their products, get them from Ulta without the monthly charges and you don't need to spend time on the phone with cancellation. Plus, I am not even sure that they actually canceled the monthly shipments.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bye Bye

By Susan Aronoff, Virginia, Verified Reviewer

Well, the coverage of the Bye Bye Foundation was fair, but I've used better. My main problem with this foundation was the way it made my skin break out and get these ugly cyst type bumps. When I stopped using it, my skin cleared up, so after a few weeks I tried it again, and the same thing happened. So, bye-bye Bye Bye Foundation.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bye Bye Foundation

By Carolyn , Rutledge, TN

I love it. But I have used it 5 days and from the looks of the tube it won't last a month. It's too expensive. Should it last a month?

Outstanding!

By Anne, Levittown, PA, Verified Reviewer

I'm 56 and have tried everything from cheap to expensive and this, by far, is the best I've tried. I've been using for 3 months since seeing the infomercial and get daily compliments on my skin. Unbelievable.

I ordered through the TryIT Now promotion. When I got the kit it was missing the foundation but had everything else in there. I called the customer service and they apologized and sent a new complete kit. I offered to return what I had and they said to keep it.

This company is a win-win!

Godsend

By Elaine Brockhaus, Lansing, MI, Verified Reviewer

I dread Winter for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that by the end of the day, no matter how good of a moisture product I use, my face feels like it is about to crack. Bye Bye Foundation has to put an end to that! The added moisture in this particular product (I have tried many) seems to permit my skin to hang on until evening.

The coverage is good, i.e. it is not heavy, but it does the job. A small dollop goes a long way. I always dab on extra around my eyes as I have dark shadows. Yes, it does slightly melt into my wrinkles, but less than any other foundation I have tried.

All in all, I feel this foundation is a big step in the right direction. It is ridiculously expensive for the amount you get, and thus I don't use it every day (re you listening IT?), but only on days when I must leave the house fully made up.

In conclusion, the product is great, but the price and program are bad. Since this is, mainly, a review of the actual product, I have to give it five stars.

Liars!

By Nour, Pennsylvania, Verified Reviewer

I ordered my first kit and it came in the mail within five days, and everything was fine. I would say everything other than the counselor was below average, but I thought it wasn't bad for $40 as advertised.

But then for four months, they continued to take out $40, so I called them, and they said that was the total price of my package and they take it out in $40 installments for a total of almost $160! I called very upset because nowhere did I see or agree to that when I bought my first kit, but like they always say "there's a catch!"

I told the lady had I known that I would never ever have paid that because I don't think the kit is worth it. She apologized and said she would send me one more kit even though I didn't want one. Of course, that was a lie as well! I never got anything.

Bye Bye is a "lie lie" in my opinion!

I really liked the Bye Bye cream

By Lisa, Las Vegas, NV, Verified Reviewer

I loved the cream, but now trying to buy it on its own seems to be the problem.

I had medium, and the finishing powder is way too dark, but the cream was a great shade. It is smooth and easy, and I personally like the coverage; it is natural but covered my 50-year-old flight attendant skin perfectly.

It signed me up for the auto pay, and I had no trouble canceling that at all. I called the number and after the smooth talking operator figured out I was serious, future orders were canceled. That was it.

I would like a large size of the Bye Bye cream now after comparing it to several others I own (including Bare Minerals a past favorite), but I found one from QVC for like $60 or so (kind of pricey). Now, this is my only dilemma. The other products were fine from the kit, but what I really want to purchase again is the Bye Bye cream.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Beware of ordering hype

By G. Guest, Ventura, California, Verified Reviewer

I knew this $39 promotion had auto-ship but did not realize the products were trial-sized. The ordering agent had a foreign accent not easy to understand, so asked for much repeating. Good thing!

In rapid conversation, she kept pushing different offers, and one was for "full sized" products, at repeated $39 charges to equal about $150. It was so confusing, I finally put my foot down, that I ONLY wanted the original offer, at $39. Period.

Previously, I had purchased an IT product at Ulta in Medium, which I found to be too light and pasty. So I ordered this promotion in Tan, which I find too dark for my olive skin tone.

The concealer should be in a lighter tone, at the least.

So, what I received was the Bye Bye Foundation, concealer, and mascara in trial sizes, think "TRAVEL sizes." The Illuminator for pores, don't know if that is a trial size, but adequate to last for a while.

You MUST wear a primer, or it will settle into your wrinkles and make them more obvious. I have a couple of dark spots (not very) on my chin that it doesn't cover, even with extra application. I do wear a serum and Vitamin C cream as well prior to using the Foundation, and my skin feels heavy with the product.

The lip-whatever is full-sized, and is off-white in color and is (I suppose) to change to pink on lips. Sort of like those lipsticks that change color depending on your body chemistry. If your lips are already "pink," you will see no difference. It just acts like a lip balm.

The gifts of Vitality Disc of blush appear to be full size, and also the brush.

As far as the charges, auto-ship and full-size hype, this is my solution: As soon as I received an email that the product had shipped, I called and canceled the whole thing. I will pay the one-time charge for what I received, but no more. Keep your confirmation email of cancellation. Most card companies will deal with excessive charges, but not PayPal. It remains to be seen what shows up on my bill next month.

I say "yes" as a recommendation (cannot opt out), only because the brush is full-sized and the product is useful for travel. All-in-all, it is worth the $39 (plus shipping, of course, about $6).

New User of Bye Bye

By Diane , Temecula, CA

So far, I am enjoying this product. Not to keen on the auto ship club/membership club. Trying to compare "it" to similar types of cosmetics.
