Terrible product

By Kathy, Orange, TX, Verified Reviewer

This product did not live up to its claims. I mainly bought it because of the high level of SPF, so if it only worked as well as a drugstore BB creme, I would have been okay with that. Not only did it not cover imperfections as advertised, it left my skin feeling dry and wrinkles on my forehead were visible that were not noticeable before without any make up at all.

After I pumped all the air out of the tube (who puts a pump on a tube?), it was only about 1/3 full of product. I will be sending this back but will be out shipping cost both ways. Also, watch out out for the auto ship clause.

Foundation is Good but Not Worth the Auto Ship

By Thelma Gober, Orofino, ID, Verified Reviewer

I really do I like the Bye Bye Foundation. However, for better coverage I use the CC+ instead of the Bye Bye Foundation (I've tried them both). Also I have normal to dry skin so use a moisturizer before applying the foundation (mandatory).

I ordered the "Tryitnow" kit and immediately canceled my "auto ship" after the package arrived (we will see how that goes) because I wanted to see the difference between the Bye Bye foundation vs. the CC+ foundation. With the CC+ I felt was better and I was getting double the amount (1.08 fluid oz.) from QVC for $39.95 (+ $4.99 shipping I think) and I could choose to have it delivered every 30-90 days.

So my review is Bye Bye foundation is good. CC+ foundation covers a little better. I think all Bye Bye Foundations needs is a little moisturizer before being put on. And check around home shopping places like QVC instead of getting sucked into subscribing into some sort of plan.

Beware

By Mary Smith, Cleveland, Ohio, Verified Reviewer

I did read that I would be charged monthly for about 4 months for the product they would send monthly. I did not read anything about being charged the full price of the cosmetics if I chose to cancel if I was not satisfied with it. $120! Hardly worth the $40 they charged to begin with. I didn't want all that stuff anyway, just the foundation, that you allege is so wonderful, which it is not. The color was completely off. I ordered medium, figuring the fair would be too light. My skin color is light but not with an olive tone. I don't even use this foundation. It doesn't cover any differently than any other foundation I have used. Really upset they continue to bill me.

Horrible Products

By Judy Morrison, Verified Reviewer

The smell on ALL IT Cosmetic skin products is disgusting based on my experience! I smelled a nauseating citrus (not refreshing kind of citrus). The foundation does not give much more coverage than the BB cream unless you use the concealer. If you're using both together it can look really cakey and heavy. The colors are off, impossible to match every skin tone with limited shades unless you buy several shades and mix them yourself.

As a side note: Their customer service people lack IQ points. Despite me cancelling my order and them confirming receipt of my first and only shipment back, they shipped AND charged me for the second shipment! It was a ridiculous circus speaking to three people over two weeks to get my money back.

Decieved about what it was going to cost.

By Toni, Orlando, FL, Verified Reviewer

I decided to order it about two weeks ago. It does go on real nice. I have rosacea so I have to be real careful what I use. I love the product. It does stay on all day. Sometimes it burns a little, but you can sleep with it. Just unhappy about the pricing scam. I thought I was getting the introductory offer, not the full size. They were going to charge me three installments.

Do yourself a favor and try this product!

By Stephanie, Illinois, Verified Reviewer

I tried this product after watching the infomercial because it really appeared to have everything I was looking for. I cannot stress enough how pleased I was (and still am) with IT cosmetics!

I wash my face with my Clarisonic, use a light serum, and then apply my Bye Bye Foundation and my skin looks amazing! It takes so little to do the job too. I think perhaps the people who didn't like it applied too much or did not apply it properly. In the event that I do need a concealer, the IT concealer is truly amazing. It needs to be used VERY sparingly for best results, though. And it really does stay on all day. In fact, when I don't wash my face at night, the next morning, the previous day's makeup still looks good enough for a trip to the grocery store, etc.

The bottom line is, this stuff works! This is the first review I have ever written in my life, but after reading the negative reviews, I felt it was my responsibility to let everyone know that it really is a great product.

I think the problem with some of the negative reviewers was a bad experience with the auto-ship (which I canceled immediately after receiving my kit, just because I can buy it online at the same price and I don't like auto-ships) or perhaps a wrong color choice? I really can't imagine anyone NOT loving these products!

I will say this: the Bye Bye Foundation and concealer ROCKS. I do think the shades run a bit dark, so I recommend buying a shade lighter. The powder works very well as long as it is the right shade. I personally use the translucent no color Bye-Bye Pores powder purchased at Sephora. The blush/bronzer/color wheel was ok, as was the mascara, about like any other higher end product, but nothing as amazing as the Foundation. I did not care for the lip balm because I like more color.

So, ordering the kit is a great deal to try it, but I would cancel right away and buy the full-size products at Sephora, where you can test the shades, and buy only what you love.

Sometimes, especially in summer, I will mix a dab of the waterproof concealer with any moisturizer, and it gives me GREAT coverage when I don't want to wear a lot of makeup.

In conclusion, the foundation, concealer, and powder (in the proper shade) are LIFE CHANGING! I have used those three products since the day I got that first little trial kit, and that was three years ago. It's a great thing, girls, and actually a great deal, because you use such minimal amounts of the products, they last a long, long time.

Also, FYI, they sell it on QVC (full sizes, not the trial sizes) and often have specials, including easy pay, and they have a liberal return policy. I bought a "super size" of the concealer offered only on QVC over a year ago, and I have not even used half of it!

I hope this testimony helps someone out there looking for that one, lifetime foundation/concealer/powder, because I will never go another day without it!

I'm truly blown away

By Tracy Hovatter, Minnesota, Verified Reviewer

I was skeptical at first but once I saw the infomercial I had to try it. I never buy things from an infomercial. I am 56 years old and bought the medium kit. I had a bit of buyers remorse after I paid for the full size kit but when it arrived and I tried it I was literally shocked in a great way at how this made my skin look. I have received compliments today on how great my skin looks. I don't get what the clear lipstick does and the loose powder is in a small rather hard to use container, but the Bye Bye foundation and concealer and the contouring/blush compact all are heavenly. You look dewy and fresh all day AND night without having to reapply anything except lipstick. And it has SPF 50 in it but you would never know as it isn't greasy and heavy like most stand alone soft creams are. I honestly don't get all the negative reviews here. Competition maybe? I was using Christian Dior Eclat Satin foundation prior and had to reapply 2-3x a day, as well as it took more product and didn't cover half as well as this. I'm truly blown away and will definitely buy again. Cannot recommend high enough.

Bad Experience. Please Save Your Money.

By Stephanie, Los Angeles, CA, Verified Reviewer

I guess the bad experience started when I tried ordering. All I wanted was the foundation and they tried to sucker me into getting a $150 dollar kit without me saying yes or understanding what they where adding to the kit. They where talking about till I stopped them and said I don't want whatever you're talking about.

There was a confusion with my delivery package as well, but finally after bouncing back and fourth I got the package. I finally tried the product when it finally arrived, just to wake up the next day with my skin pealing all over my face and hurting me. I put it on again, thinking maybe it was the weather, but nope my skin pealed even more. After 3 days my skin had pealed red patches that felt like they burned my skin to the extent that it got hard. It practically over dried my skin. So I canceled my order and I'm only hoping the nightmare just ends and they stop billing me. So please by something else other than this, you may regret it.

Total Scam

By Sandra Hagwood, Fieldale, VA, Verified Reviewer

I had a few sunspots that I was trying to cover. It didn't even cover those, not to mention the ability to cover tattoos. I don't really have terrible skin. A product I bought at the dollar store worked better than this. Totally overrated. Waste of time.

It's okay but not worth $50.

By Karen, Northridge, CA, Verified Reviewer

After seeing the infomercial, I figured I would try it. I bought the $39.99 kit which came out to $49.00. First thing I did not like was the auto-shipment/auto pay. I figured that if I really really like this stuff then maybe it's ok. Here are my reviews on the make-up I received.

The foundation itself is actually nice. I liked it. Unfortunately it doesn't last. I am used to my long lasting Revlon's Color Stay. This foundation did not last at all. The powder was horrible. It's ORANGE. I felt like an Oompa Loompa! Ridiculous. The concealer was actually good. I liked that. I also liked my free gifts-two-sided brush and highlighting powder.

The mascara? Well, their mascara has a great butterfly brush but the mascara itself is horrible. Does not last. The lip stain would have been OK if it wasn't so PINK.

All in all, I will continue to go to Target for my make-up. I did not have a problem canceling the auto pay/shipment. I called and told them I wanted to cancel. They said they had something new but I didn't want to bother. It's definitely not worth $50 every month.

Don't get sucked in.

By Jennifer, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Verified Reviewer

Let me just start off by saying, Guthy Renker is the spawn of Satan. If you feel you must try this product, get it from Ulta. Within minutes of placing this order, I tried to cancel it and was told that it was not possible.
