I got my LG G6 in the U.S. from T-Mobile in May 2016 and had to travel to Europe within three days upon purchase. I didn't know that my device had to stay in the U.S. for at least 40 days to be eligible for permanent unlock. Firstly, I will start by saying I am pleased with the turnaround times. My brother and I had both ordered an S8+ with Telus Mobility. When I wanted to unlock mine, I had accidentally taken the IMEI off my brother's box, which in turn resulted in the wrong unlock code being ordered.
