City Lips

When I initially ordered City Lips I ordered one, and when an additional one popped up at a reduced price, I added it on. I assumed the shipping would be adjusted. It wasn't. I asked to have my shipping charges dropped as the amount went up to the free shipping price. They refused. I went ahead and tried it anyway because I was curious about the product. I like the way it plumps my lips the entire time it stays on. Often times it can stay on through eating my meal. I'd like to next try the city lips with color. Good product.

I like the consistency, low shine, and feeling of it on my lips. However, I am not sure it is doing any plumping. I use it nightly and any time I go out or feel the need for moisturization. I shared it with my mom and she liked it too but noticed no plumping, just a comforting feeling and gloss. Using it for two weeks, figured I would notice a difference for sure by now. Unfortunately, for the price, I could not recommend it to anyone. I am disappointed, I would like my money back.

I really like the applicator and the tube looks like glass. It goes on very smoothly and does seem to plump your lips. The only thing I wished I would have ordered it with a color in it rather than the clear because I always wear lipstick in bright colors and when I put my lipstick on over it, the lipstick clumps a little bit and fades the color out.

I was so excited for my City Lips to be delivered as I have terrible lines above my upper lip and was thrilled to find this product. I have been using this product for 5-6 weeks or so and I do NOT notice much difference, if any...

This product is very moisturizing, let’s get that right! If you have dry lips this is for you! However, plumping it’s not. If you want full plump lips it does not work for everyone. Feels good but, very unfortunately, does not make my lips look any fuller.

Still not convinced - initial application plumped but just 2 days in not seeing the same effect. My lips seem to have adjusted to the way the plumper works by aggravating the skin tissues. I'm going to keep working with it to see if the long terms effect is better. My biggest issue is the cost. At $45 (£35) and then customs tax at £44 this is highly overpriced. There are much better products on the market for that price.

My lips feel better than when I used chapstick. I hope to see visual results in the two months I was promised. I have been using the product three times a day and I feel the difference. I will continue to use it for the maximum results.

I love how this product keeps my lips moisturized all day. Just one application in the morning and I can feel the product through most of the day. I have noticed an improvement in the appearance of my lips...the lines in the lips are definitely less noticeable. The only downside - the tube needs to be stored upright or product will leak out the sides. I did have product waste due to this issue.

City Brass Lips does seem to plump my lips some. I really am more concerned about the lines around my lips. I don't like the fact that it goes on shiny and pretty much stays that way...and sticky. If I put it on at night and my husband goes to kiss me, neither of us likes the way it feels. I am also very disappointed in the colored version.

It looks great in the tube but when I put it on it looks like something out of the sixties...way too bright and sort of frosted looking.

This is a good lip gloss. It's not too sticky, it lasts long, it gives a slight tingle sometimes. I like the tingle, it makes me think it's working. But it's nothing crazy. It's not life-changing. It's not really worth what I paid for it. The results are so slight they could be a placebo effect. If I have to question if it's my brain or if it's really working, it's not worth what they’re charging. I wouldn't really call it a plumper. It's just nice lip gloss. That said, I do LIKE the lip gloss. I just don't see the plumping results I wanted.
