I am surprised to read all of the 5-star reviews. I applied this 3-4 times a day, no lipstick, and other than shiny lips, got absolutely no appearance of fuller lips. It is really expensive lip gloss. The only good thing is that I didn't have difficulties returning it.

I love the way the City Lips make my lips FEEL, but when it comes to living up to the reputation of plumping and filling in the wrinkles and fine lines, it’s a bit disappointing. It does take my normally dry lips From using the CPAP machine every night and completely restores moisture and rejuvenates them as well, but as far as plumping, and filling in my wrinkles and fine lines? No, it does none of those things.

I would not pay any of the prices listed under the ordering options again for a nourishing lip gloss, even though it does qualify in my opinion as a lip revitalizer. I thought about trying a tinted gloss, but again, I would have to say no. They only way I would even consider paying the cheapest price I’ve found again is if they come out with a lip stain or color that is smudge, bleed, or smear proof type of color that will last all day without reapplication then being able to apply the clear over the smudge-proof color.

My lips do FEEL nice, but LOOKS the same as when I began using this product, over 4-5 months ago.

I wanted to love this, and I had really high hopes! It doesn't plump my lips...not even a little. After reading very mixed reviews, I ended up buying it because I have some lines around my mouth even though I do NOT smoke. I was hoping City Lips could help. It didn't help at all. It's a pretty lip gloss, but the shine is not worth the price tag.

After using almost an entire tube of City Lips (which I purchased directly from their Facebook ad), I do not notice any significant change in the appearance of my lips or surrounding skin. The moisturizing properties are temporarily effective but no more than any other quality lip gloss. I applied several times daily and at night. Ultimately it did not meet my expectations.

I recently received my order, which came quickly. I ordered the 3 tubes offer since I thought I would give the other two as birthday gifts to friends. I have been using for two weeks now and apply it in the morning and at bedtime. I honestly don't see any difference in my lips. They are not any plumper, and small lines around my lips are still there. I am disappointed since I normally do not spend a lot of money on just regular lip gloss, which this seems to just be. I also do not want to give this as a gift now since it doesn't seem to do what it said it would do. I will give it some more time, but I may be returning this for my money back. Hopefully, that won't be a problem.

I paid $35.00 in December 2018 for one tube of City Lips. The tube arrived fairly quickly, within 7-10 days. On the first application, I did feel a slight tingling of my lips. But that was the only time. This concoction is nothing more than coconut oil (you can smell it) and perhaps some tiny amount of something causing a slight tingling sensation. My lips HAVE NOT become plumper in any way, visually or imagined. This is an expensive loss and a lesson learned. If you want plump lips, go get JUVEDERM injected in them.

I was excited to receive my two tubes of City Lips but disappointed when I used it. The formula is very thick and sticky when applied and pronounced the lines in my lips even more than without it. I tried the second day and when the wind caught my hair - it stuck to my lips! At that point, I was not willing to use it twice a day for at least two weeks to see what would happen. Waiting to get my return money.

I can’t tell yet and I’ve been using it as directed since purchasing. I also got one for my daughter and an extra. I also got the peachy pink. It is a horrible color, like shiny chalk. Don’t know who would wear it. I thought it would be a natural color. Not sure will buy again! I like that it is thick and will stay on well. That is why I give it a 2-star rating.

Hi! I was very excited to hear about your new product! I was hopeful that it would work well for me. I have tried your lip plumper in the past. That one burned my lips too much. Since the new one is a completely different formula, I gave it a try. Unfortunately, it made my lips and the skin around my lips bright red for at least an hour. I tried twice, with the same result. I guess my lips are very sensitive. I'm bummed because I have thin lips, and was really looking forward to having plumper, more hydrated lips. I love how this product is thick to apply, and glossy. However, I am returning it. Thank you!

I had high hopes for this. I am disappointed. It does sting, but like they said that does go away after a few uses. The shine is amazing and it does plump...but it causes a very noticeable red line around the perimeter of your lips. And to say it doesn’t cause that stringy white gunk is a lie. Even with a small layer applied that stringy appearance is evident. And it makes your lips go white with thick gunk all over after being in for a few minutes. It’s so thick, which is nice, but the sticky, gooey appearance will make me think twice before I ever use it again. Very expensive lesson for me. Not worth it ladies!

I saw pictures of someone having the lip line coated in some plumping cream and thought I was purchasing a product that goes around the lips at the lip line to get the “smoker's lines” plumped out. This was not the case. This was very misleading and I am disappointed and considering returning both tubes.
