After using almost an entire tube of City Lips (which I purchased directly from their Facebook ad), I do not notice any significant change in the appearance of my lips or surrounding skin. The moisturizing properties are temporarily effective but no more than any other quality lip gloss. I applied several times daily and at night. Ultimately it did not meet my expectations.

I had high hopes for this. I am disappointed. It does sting, but like they said that does go away after a few uses. The shine is amazing and it does plump...but it causes a very noticeable red line around the perimeter of your lips. And to say it doesn’t cause that stringy white gunk is a lie. Even with a small layer applied that stringy appearance is evident. And it makes your lips go white with thick gunk all over after being in for a few minutes. It’s so thick, which is nice, but the sticky, gooey appearance will make me think twice before I ever use it again. Very expensive lesson for me. Not worth it ladies!

I waited weeks for my order to arrive and I was so disappointed. It is just very thick, very sticky, clear lip gloss. It took hours to sink into my lips and didn't plump at all. A previous reviewer said her friends with lip fillers had results, I have lip fillers, but I found the high gloss simply drew attention to your lips. They aren't actually any different, the gloss leeches over the lip edge giving the impression of fullness. DO NOT waste your money! To add insult to injury, after a paying far too much for this, I was also charged a £13.85 import duty as I live in the UK. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I shall continue with lip fillers. At least they work.

I purchased the 3 City Lips lip plumper special. They said it would help with lip wrinkles and that you won't need any more painful injections after using City Lips. I used it for 60 days like they suggested. The plumper only made my lip lines more pronounced, and the product did not last. I kept applying it all day long.

I ended up getting lip injections anyway, and I'm happy with my beautiful lips.

I contacted the company and told them my complaint and they told me I could not return it. I think this product is a SCAM.

I do not suggest wasting your money on City Lips lip plumper.

I have still not received my order, and it has been nearly a month now. I have tried to contact them but with no success. I am saddened that I have paid nearly 40 pounds of my hard-earned money to get nothing for it.

This product is just really expensive lip gloss with a bit of a tingle. Does absolutely NOTHING to reduce the appearance of wrinkles above my lips. Just gives me shiny, greasy lips. Yuck. I should have known better and not wasted my money.

I am of almost 50 years old and watching my lips shrink and my lip lines increase. I purchased two City Lips lip gloss. The clear and Tinsel Town. When I first applied City Lips, I was quite excited when my lips were plump and fuller within two minutes following the application. I was so excited to use it twice a day and see the full results but was disappointed when it did nothing to my lip lines as shown on their website in pictures and other reviews for women my age. It’s very sticky when applied, which eventually absorbs into your lips. It does not sting like other lip plumpers that I’ve used in the past. So now I just use my city lips to moisturize my lips. Everyone has different lip concerns and reactions to products, so I think it’s worth a try if you are looking for a lip plumper that does not sting and will moisturize your lips, but don’t count on it doing anything to your lip lines.

I was wondering how long it'll take to see results! Then realized it doesn't work, DOES NOT WORK, it's tacky! I had it for a week now, reapply it often, day and night, and nothing. Sure doesn't deliver any results.

This is nothing more than overpriced lip gloss. City Lips does nothing to plump or repair lips. It’s not even a good moisturizer. Complete waste of money. Vaseline is a better moisturizer and is just as glossy.

After reading all the good reviews online about City Lips and other people's positive results, I was really excited to try it. So, I ordered it and have been using it for about a week now. Every day I've been applying it in the morning, at least 2 to 3 more times throughout the day and at night before bedtime.

So far I'm disappointed. I have yet to see even the slightest difference. It provides a nice shine as a lip gloss but the instant plumping and smoothing of fine lines has not happened. I will continue to use it for a few more weeks before contacting the company just to see if it ever starts working. In my opinion, though, I think City Lips should cease advertising that it instantly plumps because that is definitely not the case.

I placed an order on June 6th with my PayPal account. The money was taken out immediately from my account. It is now June 16th, and I still haven't received my product. I called and talked to customer service and was told that somehow the order had not been processed but would process it as soon as possible. Apology, apology, but no other solution but to mail it out via USPS, which with the holiday (Fathers Day), it might take anywhere from 3-7 business days. Even speaking to a supervisor, no other solution offered. Not satisfied at all.
