City Lips

I love City Lips. I buy my skincare almost exclusively online. I must admit, many are disappointing, but not so with City Lips.

I’m a genetically blessed 77-year-old woman, probably look 60. So I’ve taken care of my face. My lips are one of my best features, so I want to keep them full. I use City Lips faithfully, and it is helping me achieve my look. In addition, the management is very considerate, and I truly appreciate the beauty tips they send as a follow-up.

I am just finishing my second week of the clear City Lips, and I haven't noticed any change thus far on these 60-year-old lips. However, they do feel better, certainly not as dry. I'll review after 30 days of using the clear City Lips product. I was unaware that I could get it in any other color. I purchased it for the health of my lips. Lips are still quite full, even my dermatologist has said so! If I were to purchase again, I'd get one with some color. Thank you.

I regretted seeing that indeed my lips were thinning as I'm aging. Plus, they were chapped and peeling.

The product certainly helps ease the discomfort of the chapped lips. In fact, I use this product before bed every night! It stays on my lips and not on my pillow!

I have purchased four tubes of City Lips in a variety of colors in the past six weeks. Each new product has been a lovely color, and it causes me to purchase another shade. City Lips color does not bleed into wrinkles and stays true to the plumped shape of the lip. I recommend always having a tube of the clear gloss on hand to use as a night treatment too!

I have perioral dermatitis around my lips, which makes the lip lines we get as we get older (60+) much worse. I was afraid to try City Lips because everything else I've used to moisturize and minimize those deep cracks has made the dermatitis much worse.

I'm very surprised and very pleased that City Lips really keeps my lip color from bleeding into the cracks and doesn't irritate my lips at all! That's such a huge thing for me! I can also tell a difference in how much softer my lips are, too. It also gives a little more temporary fullness to my lips, which is noticeable, but because of my occasional dermatitis flares and having to use topical medication for them, I can't use City Lips every day or as often as I would like to.

However, when my skin is in a calm period, I use City Lips at bedtime and several times a day hoping to moisturize and minimize the lip lines on a more permanent basis. I wish I could use it every single day because I feel it would really make a difference.

City Lips is interesting stuff. I was surprised how sticky it is! And I can't say that I have noticed "plumping" of my lips, but that is not what I bought it for.

I have had a pretty bad problem of chapped lips for a few years now, and I have tried just about every product on the market. Some have certainly helped, but none have really "fixed" them, and none have remained effective continually.

Since I just got City Lips, the question of long-term effectiveness remains to be seen, but the product has definitely helped a lot with the chapped issue.

I am disappointed how quickly I seem to be going through it. A tube is only lasting about a week (I am applying it fairly frequently, as my lips feel they need it.) And since it is so expensive, that may prove to be a big problem/deterrent in using it long term. We shall see.

I love City Lips! I was always skeptical before about products like this and tried them all. I'm happy to say this is the first brand that has worked for me. It actually does what it advertises! The little lines on my lips are minimal now and also a lot fuller. I will definitely be a returning customer for life! Thanks City Lips.

But I’m not impressed. The best thing I can say about City Lips is that it stays on my mouth pretty well, but the plumping power just isn’t there. VS’s lip plumper in a tube works so much better. It’s a hefty price for a not so effective product.

It's a bit pricey for what you get, but the product works fairly well. I'm still waiting to see if it will deliver on its full potential. I've been using it for two weeks now and my lips do feel more hydrated. As far as making them more plump, not so much as with making the lip lines disappeared not yet. Of course, it took 66 years to get that way so I can't expect it to take the lines away so quickly!

The jury is still out for me, but I would recommend trying it at least once.

I am soon to be 67 years old. I’ve never had lovely full lips, but I’ve been pretty much satisfied with them over the years, especially when I’m wearing lipstick. However, over the past year or so they have noticeably become thinner. Sometimes my lower lip has seemed to disappear altogether!

I’ve been using City Lips before bed every night and occasionally during the day under lipstick if I’m going out. After only a couple of weeks, I am pleased to report that lips seem to be returning! Hallelujah! I am hoping to see continued improvement in the weeks ahead. Thanks so much, City Lips!
