Pretty good...

By Lola , New York, NY

I rather have Clear TV than to pay too much for some TV service that sometimes work, either it brakes down or doesn't allow me to see the shows without paying extra. Thanks to Clear TV I see more than I did before. Might lag at time but in the end it's all worth it. At first you might not like it, but you will get used to it.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Free Is Free

By Pearl , Philadelphia, PA

Pro: On my 2nd floor I get tons of channels. Things I use to pay a cable bill for I now get for free.

Con: On my 1st floor I still get a lot but not as much as my 2nd floor.

Still enjoying the free though with this Clear TV Antenna.

A very satisfied customer.

By Sarah Walker , Phoenixville, Pennsylvania

I have a satellite service and decided to try the Clear TV antennas to save money. I connected an antenna to a TV in my bedroom and was able to receive HD signals of programs that I enjoy. The antenna is mounted to a wall opposite the window but facing the window. I connected another antenna to TV in another room, after carrying antenna around the room I was able to pick up a good signal and it worked. I'm able to pickup many channels, more on one TV than the other. Sometimes the signal is weak depending on time of day or weather but overall I'm very satisfied with Clear TV products.

Surprisingly works extremely well!

By Chris W, New York, Verified Reviewer

This antenna works so much better than I was expecting that it was going to. It picks up 36 channels for me. Sure, only about 25 stations actually work, but the ones that don't work are only infomercials and religious stations, so I could careless. Oh and surprisingly it picks up ION TV, well at least in my area. So yeah, overall I think this cheap, flimsy antenna works pretty well, and for around $15 from Sears, you can't really beat that for what you get.

Got it outside

By Jerry, Louisiana, Verified Reviewer

My Clear TV works really well. I catch over 26 channels, and if I scan the channels on my TV, I catch more. There is nothing wrong with my Clear TV antenna, and I have an older TV in my room with a boost box, so I catch more channels.

Great antenna

By Augie Correa, Florida, Verified Reviewer

I just got rid of Spectrum and purchase a Clear TV Antenna and I'm very proud of it. I get most channels for free and in HD. The only bad part is that I live close to the airport and get some interference, but not all the time, just when a plane flies over us. If you want TV without paying a mortgage, this is a great option.

Clear TV not a scam

By Marion G., Southern, MD, Verified Reviewer

A $15 purchase from Walmart on 5/18/18. The biggest error I believe is not following directions completely. I viewed their YouTube video. After disconnecting the cable cord to satellite (I live in the boonies with no cable and only DIRECTV and HughesNet as options for TV/Internet), then as instructed, with the TV off, I hooked up Clear TV and turned the TV back on. I had to change TV source to TV vs. cable, and selected air and a new channel search! VOILA, 48 out of 68 channels found. TV is Sharp Aquos liquid crystal TV full HD 1080P with surround sound. We have an ABOX we can switch to and watch the latest movies (Death Wish 2018 yesterday) and many many other shows, sports, etc. using our internet.

ABOX is a $35 one time fee. The next step is to cancel DIRECTV and save $150 month for all the TV viewing we want/need. We actually gained some channels not on DIRECTV, as they make one choose between Baltimore vs. DC channels. I am going to order the Clear TV adapter just to boost a little more, and purchase three more for bedrooms, etc. I’m in heaven. Huge savings! I am sharing with everyone on Facebook!

Replaces cable, really?

By Sunny S., Pontiac, MI, Verified Reviewer

I didn't have cable or satellite when I purchased this, but I can tell you this. Do not cancel your cable when you order this thinking it's going to replace your cable because it won't! It did provide me with channels that I did not previously have, however, I did not suddenly have cable channels. I am very happy with all of the extra channels that I now receive, but I think their commercial is very misleading. They do say that you can get rid of your cable or satellite bill. Well, you can, if you no longer want movie channels and sports channels and extra news channels, well, you get the idea. It does seem like a con job. If you don't have cable this is a great product to receive channels that you otherwise would normally not receive. And I mean a lot of channels. In which case, I would definitely recommend this product.

This works for me

By Kenn H., Pennsylvania, Verified Reviewer

I live in a valley and am within 15 miles of most major towers in the Pittsburgh area and I am pulling in 26 channels with good quality pictures...I have used the MOHU antenna and was getting poor reception with it, only 14 channels, so I get the major networks - ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC without issue. I bought this at a CVS store for $15.

Much cheaper than other digital TV antenna products

By Jason H., Houston, TX, Verified Reviewer

For years, I've used an old Radio Shack rabbit ear type antenna to get digital channels in the Houston, TX area. Every time I would scan my TV channels (it is necessary to occasionally re-scan due to changing frequencies), I would have to move the antenna around to get the maximum number of channels. I saw the Clear TV antenna at the store for $15, so I thought that I would give it a try and see if it could do any better. It increased my channels from around 80 to over 100, so it does indeed work better, and it is much smaller. At $15, it is a good deal, a better digital antenna can run $100. The biggest problem with it is that unlike rabbit ears, it doesn't adjust. It's made to attach to a window with suction cups or to be mounted with screws. You can also purchase a stand for it, or make a stand yourself. Since you can't move it around like rabbit ears, mounting it can make it difficult, because typically all channels won't get the best reception from the exact same location. Also, it has a cord to the TV set, so if you place the antenna on a window, you have an unsightly cord stretching across the wall to the window.

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Increased the number of channels I can receive

Small and lightweight

Cheap, and a great alternative to cable

Finding the right spot to mount it is a challenge, no location gets all channels

Cord, if mounting distant from the TV you have an unsightly cord

Estimated range is about 35 miles, so more expensive types of antenna have longer range
