This antenna is a scam

By Scott , Michigan

cheap antenna, not any better than a pair of rabbit ears. Over the air television has always been free since it began in the 1940's. Misinformation in ads imply that you "have to use" this antenna to get free broadcast TV.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is a scam total waste of money

By Jeremy , Versailles, OH

My girlfriends mom gave us a Clear TV antenna and when I first hooked it up I had a great signal for about 10 seconds and its been nothing but a nightmare since. I get about 10 channels when it does work and most of those are duplicates. It wont pick up anything for days at a time. I actually get better service with my old broken rabbit ears that don't even have their power pack. Very dissatisfied.

Doesn't work

By Nowell ,

My grandma got it for me for Christmas. As soon as I saw how flimsy it was, I knew it wouldn't work. It's not a "thin iPad like" design, it's a flimsy not working design.

Well, I pulled it in and followed the directions. Low and behold, it doesn't work at all. Not even a single channel came in badly. I live in an area where it should work and I do not have anything that I know of that would block a signal to the device.

I tried multiple things, settings, and locations in the house. It still couldn't even pick up a single channel badly.

My poor grandma is always falling for these gimmicks on TV. I'm going to have on lie to her and say it works. Otherwise she'll be upset.

I think the few full star reviews here are from company representatives.

I don't need TV either way. I'm a college student and always on my computer or doing work.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Scam, they'll take your money

By Cris Burlew , St. Petersburg, Florida

My roommate ordered one on expedited service for us on January 2nd and called today January 19 and was told today that our cc didn't go thru. That was totally incorrect, as it came out of our account immediately. When ordering online, you get a confirmation number when your cc goes thru. If your card declines, you get a message stating "your order could not be processed at this time". Do they think we are really that stupid? They take our money and don't ship the product. When we threatened to go to contact the attorney general's office, we got thru to a supervisor fast who gave us the same response. So,we are contacting the AG's office about this, as we are out over $65.

Don't buy it!

By Harry Heilman , Comstock Park, MI

I ordered the Clear TV Dec. 16 and have not received it as of Jan. 21, 2014. The tracking number they sent me for the USPS can not be found when you try to track it. Don't waste your money!

Lousy

By Anita , Globe, AZ

I live in a mountain community 85 plus miles from Phoenix, AZ. I get excellent local reception from towers on the mountains 15 miles away, When I saw the ad on TV I thought I'd try it. Insisting I only wanted one antenna for the 19.95 plus the postage. What the ad didn't tell you was that you needed to be within 15 miles of a broadcast tower, or that metal could interfere with reception, I live in a mobile home that is metal, with three metal storage sheds in the line of my outdoor antenna and my living room. All I could get with this Chinese wonder is one channel and it is Spanish speaking only channel. As I don't speak Espanol, or east Pakistani, this was a farce. I tried to return it for a refund and they tried to talk over me and get me to buy some additional extension. I refused and demanded my money back. They would not give me my money back until I paid for postage again, to return this piece of crap. I demanded they return my original postage plus the $4.28 it cost me to return it. I see today they refunded only $19.95 So like is this some kind of racket they got going with the post office or what? My outdoor roof antenna gets most local Phoenix channels, 12 in all, which is more than I can say for the cheap piece of plastic they are calling an antenna. Definitely a rip off.

Dissatisfied with the service

By Michelle Allred , Amarillo, TX

I feel that when you order a product, they take money off your card and then say that they don't take the money off until it is shipped and then want more money. That's not the way it suppose to be. And then they don't put the money back on your card that they took off. I recommend not to get this product unless you want a big run around with them. I would give them no stars if I could.

Any old UHF outside antenna is better

By Hank , Anson, ME

Any company advertising an antenna as digital antenna is just using word digital to hook people to buy their product. Any old UHF outside antenna will work better. This antenna is no better than rabbit ear antenna. Ask local radio shack what is best UHF antenna you can get. If you all ready have a good UHF antenna you just might need a signal booster.

Rude & unprofessional

By Linda , Washington

Worst customer service I have ever received. Operator argued, would not let me talk to a supervisor, continued to argue. It was the worst experience I've ever had dealing with customer service. I would not recommend this product. They've taken the money out of my account and I have not received anything.

Telephone ordering was difficult!

By Marla Mosby , Norman, TX

I saw the advertisement on television. I dialed the number to place my order. Their ordering system would not listen to the responses that I was trying to chose. I then hung up and got online to order. I saw their website, but also saw others talking about the product. So, I read information about the antenna. I am very glad I did take the time to read reviews from others. I did NOT place an order for the antennas!
