Does not work

By Keh H., New York, Verified Reviewer

This by far is one of the worst products advertised. Bought two of these and neither one worked as advertised. You constantly have to move these to get a signal, and even that doesn't work well. Save your money, and don't buy this product, you'd be better off going to the 99 Cent store and buying a cheap rabbit ear antenna like I did to get a better signal. Don't be fooled by the commercial.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not good - no signal at all!

By Al , Alberta, Michigan

It's very poor. I picked up only one channel and it definitely did not work in my area which is Alberta, Michigan.

These people are scamming us.

By Kay , Columbus, Ohio

l am 65 years old. I ordered this mess and regretted it. I ordered one but canceled it. Then they waited 11 days and went into my account and took 66.00 dollars. I refuse to pay all of the over draft fees and now they're claiming they haven't gotten this mess back so I filed a complaint with the attorney generals office. Beware!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Call your local TV station

By Chuck Wells , Veneta, OR

How can these people rip off the public with false statements on Clear TV and get away with it? My rabbit ears worked better than this cheap piece of crap! Call your local TV stations and tell them that if they run this ad for Clear TV, you will not watch their station any more. Hit them where it hurts and put a stop to this rip off con artist. I work hard for what little money I earn.

Trust me as to what the others are saying. You must believe that it's impossible to get a hold of customer service. Don't even waste your time. Just write your review and lay it on thick on how you feel about Clear TV.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Rip off

By Marty, Tennessee, Verified Reviewer

We only could get 3 channels in our area. Depends on your location as to what you get. Google "Antenna" and put in your zip code. That tells you the satellites near you to get those channels. Mine showed 4. I only got 3. We returned it and they made $15.98 from us and thousands of others like us. Don't waste your money. They also upgraded it - LOL.

If It Sounds Too Good To Be True, It Probably Is.

By Arletta, Dixmoor, Illinois, Verified Reviewer

What do people think they're getting? A $10.00 antenna. It's not Comcast. When you buy a product like this, you should expect to get ONLY some local channels. I installed my antenna, and I didn't get any reception. Once I twisted the antenna towards a window, I got all local channels except CBS. Why send it back. Keep playing with the antenna. If it doesn't work, just throw the damn thing in the garbage and write it off as a loss.

Rip-off!

By Adam, Mabelvale, Arkansas, Verified Reviewer

I have to move the antenna to different locations to get other channels I want to watch. So every time I change the channel I have to move the piece-of-junk antenna. I will never buy from this company again.

Don't listen to their salesperson if they talk to you about it. They are only trying to make their sales commission. They will lie to you and tell you it will work. They will tell you whatever they think you need to hear to get you to buy it. What they don't tell you is how bad they are screwing you.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

You have to be realistic

By Angela Brown, Pennsylvania, Verified Reviewer

When I purchased this, I lived in Washington, Pennsylvania. I was a single parent who could not afford cable but wanted to receive the local channels clearly. When I bought it, it was on special, and I thought 40 bucks was worth it for the two TVs. It gave me 5 channels when I could not afford any.

Being in the mountains drastically reduced my reception. I have not tried it in Jacksonville, but if you're looking to eliminate a cable bill because you're struggling then get rid of cable, you can at least enjoy a couple of regular channels until things improve. A few channels is better than no channels when you are financially challenged.

Most everyone has WiFi these days and if you have WiFi join Netflix because it's cheaper than cable. This product is not perfect but it really depends on the job you're trying to complete and how you look at whether it is a good deal or not. For me, it provided just enough for my daughter to go without having nothing.

My bottom line is yes, I would recommend it to her friend but the experience of how many channels is different from person to person and how much effort they put into finding the best location. Just because your TV is set up in a specific spot, it doesn't mean that's the best spot for the antenna. You may have to move the TV around so that you can move the antenna too and face it in the best direction to pick up the most.

In recommending the product I would explain how I felt in the conversation and then let the person decide where they are in life and what they really need. What we all need is some competition no matter what state you live in for the cable companies. If a few more cable companies would come out just like with the cell phones, the wars would begin, and we would begin getting better prices. Of course, if all of us would remove cable TV from our homes, in a couple of months, as they are going bankrupt, they would begin offering better prices.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Clear TV antenna scam

By Michelle J., Maryland, Verified Reviewer

Plug into both TVs, scam, not one channel came in. I want a refund. I'm going to start a class action lawsuit. This is fraud. No customer service either. Your company should be ashamed of themselves. I would never ever recommend this to anyone ever.

Clear TV sucks

By Lady B , Burbank, CA

This is a scam! Not worth the time or money plus they charged me $166.67 in total & have not yet heard anything from them. Funny part is that there is no way to call them or customer service, just email.
