It worked but not anymore

By Anne , Pennsylvania

When I first brought the antenna home, I was able to access about 10 channels and for the most part had great reception.

Now, it doesn't work at all for some reason. I unplugged it and went through the entire process of installing it again and nothing. I'm thinking that maybe perhaps the signal got worse due to the cold and snowy weather outside.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

What a joke

By Jay , Columbia, South Carolina

Terrible unit. They lie about everything on their commercials. Very misleading.

Dissatisfied

By Mrs Linette Frazier , Hagerstown, MD

My husband and I purchased this antenna approximately six months ago. This antenna doesn't work in all areas. We are considered a small town, however it's becoming overly populated. We were thinking we could save money on cable TV services. However, we only get 4 channels and that might be on a good day!

Guess it does work

By Nicole , Columbia, SC

I saw the commercial on this antenna but never believed it would be a solution to my signal problem. I saw it in the Rite-Aid for $14 and immediately asked myself, why not. I plugged it in and immediately my channels came in clearer. Just this morning I'm trying to watch the Maury show and threw my remote because it was frozen and different antenna positions didn't work. I'm good though because it was worth 14 bucks most definitely. I didn't expect to get extra channels but got about five more to watch. I recommend buying this antenna in store because if it doesn't work for you, it can returned without the hassle.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Clear TV Sucks

By John Masters , South Boston, MA

Clear TV just sucks. It's nothing but a scam and does not do what it says it would. I also think it's very cheaply made.

Clear TV does not work, it's a rip off!

By Stephen D Mitchell , Mt. Pleasant, MI

I was charged $86.85 for one double order of Clear TV. It would not work for me in my apartment that has only one window facing west. I was charged $31.96 for shipping. I had to pay another $9.41 to return this useless item. Got ripped off for $41.39. Thank you so much for nothing!

Total Loss

By David Allen , Woodland Park, NJ

Well the good news is that Clear TV is easy to install and setup. Everything else is bad news! First off, the way it all began was just one big scam. I filled out the formation online and decided against ordering. So I never submitted the order and just immediately canceled out instead. However, they forced the order once my info was entered. I was shocked once again when the "order confirmation" department called telling me that it still went through.

The one call I made to customer support was never returned. As far as the antenna itself, it picked up about 30 channels such as ABC and no other viable ones. I really only bought this for my bedroom TV which I fall asleep to while watching four stations so I had minimal expectations that Clear TV couldn't even reach.

Now, after reading other reviews, I just realized I am only getting a $20 refund out of the $35 I put in (I realized I would lose money on one shipping but forgot about "free" unit and return shipping). I usually Google reviews but somehow missed this one - which would have deterred of this purchasing. Now it's too late.

Better than expected

By Tammy , Lebanaon, Ohio

I stumbled across this antenna at Walgreens for $14.97. Thought I would give it a try. After 10 minutes of deciphering my menu options on the TV, I was able to access 33 channels. The signal breaks when the antenna is moved but that is not a huge inconvenience. It's definitely nice to have this for rooms with no satellite receivers and for watching the news when the weather kicks the Direct TV out. It also requires no electricity. I'm so excited to try it in the old portable TV sets in the garage that have been useless for years.

This Antenna is a Scam

By Martha Londono , Weaverville, NC

This is a scam. I never get any channels. On top of that, I received a call that I have a court day in California because I have a law suit. They have been trying to get a thousands of dollars from me. I reported to the BBB. We all should do the same. Don't be fooled, this is TERRIBLE.

Clear TV is a scam

By W.R. Vaughn , Rusk, TX

The television commercial says it will pick up as far as a hundred miles from a tower. The instructions, after you receive the cheap junk made of plastic, say the tower should be within 35 miles. Needless to say, it does not work.

The cost to return the cheap plastic junk is not feasible because you only receive the refund on the $19.99 antenna and none for the postage you originally paid for. Plus, you have to pay the postage to return it.
