Two Different Planets

By Rob Collins, Norfolk, Va, Verified Reviewer

Apparently there are two different facilities that produce this cookware, one that produces quality, and one that does not. It is hard for me to read the "good" reviews and believe it. I have never had a set of skillets that stick so bad, from the first use. The advertising that I watched before I bought them is very misleading as far as their value in the kitchen. I now see from the reviews that my money back guarantee is not going to happen, in the trash they go, live and learn.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Scratches easily and expensive warranty.

By Duane Herberg, Penngrove, CA, Verified Reviewer

After using the pan according to directions for only a few weeks many scratches appeared in the cooking surface for no reason. The warranty is very expensive to use as you have to pay the return postage yourself and enclose an additional $14.99 to get a pan which may or may not scratch again even when using wood and plastic utensils.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Poor quality control

By Denise, Ringeos, NJ, Verified Reviewer

I ordered this pan in 9.5 inch with a lid for my mother. She received the pan, but the lid did not fit and it was warped. We are sending it back. We are very disappointed because she likes the size and the look of the pan.

Quality

By Sylvester, Sanford, FL, Verified Reviewer

Totally Dissatisfied. It does not hold a lot and the bottom is already warped. It Is also scratched. It was a waste of money and the so-called guarantee isn't the easiest process. I tried BUT got a lot of runarounds. I wouldn't even recommend it to an enemy.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

What a disappointment

By Crystal, Maryland, Verified Reviewer

Purchased and loved it till the honeymoon ended, which only took about 2 months of this pan being used for pancakes on weekends. Asked about the warranty, saw how very "limited" it was. Here I thought I was way too old to fall for such scams. Don't waste your money. If Eric Theiss used it himself, he would have seen that this product barely lasts through the 60-day money back guarantee. Well, he is richer because of me.

Biggest scam ever

By Joyce Bowen, Salem, MA, Verified Reviewer

I feel so stupid. I bought 2 12-sets of these pans and they stand up to nothing. Do yourself a favor and stick with store bought pans.

Don't waste your money

By Jill, South Carolina, Verified Reviewer

The Copper Chef is a fraud. The first time I tried it was with a couple of eggs, they stuck to the bottom so badly I had to throw them out.

I put a ton of oil in there to grill a couple steaks and it worked okay, but steaks burned really badly. My 3rd and final try was with an omelet and it stuck and burned and stained the bottom of the inside of the pot and also the bottom stained also. I could not get the stain out.

For me, as a disabled senior citizen, I really was hoping for it to work, I am on SS and forced to retire so my money is very scarce.

Extreme disappointment

By Daniel Thompson, Montclair, NJ, Verified Reviewer

Purchased unit on the 4 payments plan. After using the item a couple of times noticed food sticking to the pan, had to scrape the bottom with a spatula (plastic only). The item scratched right away. Not what was advertised so I am very disappointed with the product.

What Happened?

By James Howard, Barie, Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

The 1st time we used the pan it worked as seen on TV. The second time my wife used it she cooked back bacon. Well, the non-stick surface in no longer none stick.

My wife keeps the pan separate and does not allow it to hit the sink, even still the bottom has severe scratches on it. We have a glass top stove. The pan looks like a paper thin copper coating over aluminum. There are no scratches on the interior so far (4 uses).

Copper Chef

By Joseph Apicella, West Hempstead, NY, Verified Reviewer

To be able to swish any eggs like on TV is not possible, they stick and clean up is difficult. Everything else sticks. The only thing that I like about this pan is the size. I will also say the same comments about my Cathy Mitchell pan, because the advertising is the same for both products.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Rip-off

By Carol , Falls Church, VA, Verified Reviewer

Buying this product is a scam and a rip-off. They keep sending me products and taking money from my account without my permission. I am $7.95 and $29.95 in the whole. I have to make a trip to my bank and get my number changed.

Do not order from this company! It doesn't even deserve the one-star rating but that's the lowest it will go in order to post my Copper Chef review.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
