False advertisement

By Miguel, Las Vegas, Verified Reviewer

I have four pots that are 9" and 11," and small ones too. Every single one has a problem with grease of black/brown color sticking outside of the pan, and one of them started to have deep scratches in the center. Now I have to pay to send them back with a receipt number and some other information. They don't tell you that over the TV. Why do we have to pay again for something that has a lifetime warranty? This is bad and FALSE advertising!

And with all the extras they try to sell you and everything, plus shipping; it's ridiculous!

Don't get this product.

Copper toxicity

By Erika, Plumas, CA, Verified Reviewer

Does everything as advertised. But beware if you have had a kidney transplant or the like, as the excess copper can make you very ill and effect you lymph glands. A lot of people don't consider this, as I didn't. But if you're healthy, this is a great product.

Recipes in Cookbook

By Vicki Johnson, Brainerd, MN, Verified Reviewer

The recipes in Eric Theiss "All Around Cooking" cookbook are not exact. I tried making the Mac & Cheese, which did not turn out. The Macaroni was crunchy and somewhat burnt in the bottom of the pan because of the cream, not enough water. Had to guess when it should be done. NOT A GOOD RECIPE. Threw it out. My granddaughter, who is 13, just about lives on Mac & Cheese, said it was disgusting, wouldn't eat it. It was like paste.

I like the pan but the recipes are not real accurate. The liquid was disappearing before the macaroni could get done.

Not what they say - typical commercial hype!

By Jean Parrillo, Horseheads, NY, Verified Reviewer

Purchased the whole package back in April 2016. Was excited to find cooking pans that could possibly be the only ones I would use. The pans do not hold up, they chip, scratch and they burn. I have tried all types of food in them and they don't perform as they are shown on TV. The latest problem is the steamer basket, one of the legs rusted off of the basket and broke in half. I use it to steam vegetables and eggs, does a great job steaming but a replacement basket costs $20. The cost is too high for the pans. I would have preferred to use the money on Rachael Ray pans. So disappointed but it's typical of television commercials, they blow everything out of proportion and you get suckered into buying the product thinking it will do all kinds of magical cooking. Also burned my hands on the handles, they got hot from cooking on the stove, so dangerous, especially if you have small children.

Everything sticks to the pan

By Al, Minnesota, Verified Reviewer

After using the pan, the food sticks to it. Eggs turn out bad, even with butter. I am not happy.

Square pan is a rip-off

By Marie Neal, North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

It's a rip-off. I used this pan just as instructed, but everything sticks to it, there is chipping, and it has terrible hot spots. No one will help when you call or try to chat with them.

Bad pans

By Suzanne Weeks, Cookeville, TN, Verified Reviewer

I purchased both the 12" pan and the large square pan. I've been so careful with them (not having used the square pan yet) as I'd wanted a nonstick pan that would last. I used the 12" pan a couple of times for eggs. Worked great.

Yesterday, I lightly browned sausage for a quiche. I used med/low heat so as not to over brown. After removing the sausage, I took out the trusty paper towel and the pan would not wipe clean. I waited for it to cool and put warm water in it to sit. Well, the stains will NOT come out. The pan is ruined. What a bogus pan this is. As near as I can tell, that pan amounted to about $10.00 of use. Expensive.

I will throw it away this morning, but I'm passing the word. Today, I read the reviews of this product. Darn. Wish I'd read them prior to the purchase. I'll stand next to the stack of these pans for sale at Sam's Club and tell everyone who looks interested in buying a set. Shame on you! You need MINUS stars in your rating.

Great Product!

By Jerad, Minneapolis, MN, Verified Reviewer

I love it, and wonder why people have complained. I'm assuming it was because they must have been back ordered for Christmas. I ordered it, they gave me a UPS tracking number, and we received it in about a week. It is great! My wife has been frying beef in our stainless steel pans for years, and I hate soaking, then scrubbing them out. This deep dish pan is great. I steamed veggies last night, and made french fries in it today. I am in no way affiliated with the company, but can vouch for the heavy duty quality of this product.

Copper Chef Pans

By Rosie, New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

I'm loving my Copper Chef Pans because I asked questions. My conclusion is: don't go by the claims (or the do's or don'ts) that are made about the pans. Use the pans as you would any other. You can use olive oil and butter (no oil or non-stick sprays) as you would ordinarily. Use your own recipes and you will find the pans are really awesome. As for scratches and nicks, well, take care of them as you would any other copper pan. And always use your non-metal utensils.

Great pans, worth every penny.

By Rusty1325, Bullhead City, AZ, Verified Reviewer

I have tried other copper pans, i.e. Red Copper, and Copper Chef is the best hands down. I read some of these reviews and they claim things sticks to it. I have made chocolate, cheese sauce, as well as many glazes and sauces and not once did anything stick. I am really enjoying being able to use this pan as a deep fryer. The only issue I am having is I have seen the flat square pan advertised but when I wrote Copper Chef to ask for some info on it they did not return my email.

Wondering

By John, Pennsylvania, Verified Reviewer

So far I've had a pretty good experience, although the magical sliding off of the food is incorrect I have to use a spray oil or butter. But my question is can I use my lid in the oven? That was never addressed using in the commercial or instructions.
