Pans worked great the first few times. Now I have to use oil to keep any food from sticking. Cleans easier when the pan is hot but have to use nylon scraper to get food out when pay has cooled.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I've yet to find ANYTHING that will stick to it!
Eggs, pancakes, brownie mix (in the oven, no less), etc. Cooks a steak to perfection. I like my eggs over easy, and they slide around in the pan and fold.
My pan is over 4 months old, contains no scratches, and looks brand new. It has replaced 3 pans for me and I am ordering the set next month. I can hardly wait!

This Copper Chef Pan works pretty well, however, some things will stick to it if you don't use some kind of well.
It appears that copper is a very thin coat as one of my friends is losing the copper on it.
I have a lifetime warranty but I have to pay for shipping and handling to send it and then another $15 to have them send it back.
Seems unfair as I can go to the store and buy the whole pan for twenty bucks

Yes, I got the Copper Chef pan for Christmas from my loved one, he bought three to give at Christmas. I cooked a whole chicken with carrots and taters, but the chicken was so dry, the carrots were still hard, and the taters were not done either. I know how to cook, but whoever invented this cooker sure doesn't.
So I'm giving it zero stars. Do not buy this skillet, it is nothing but a mess. I gave one star because if not, they wouldn't post my message.

I have this as a gift and know that the pans are really misleading and do not last long. I suggest you pass this word on.
I did attempt to use the help service to get my pan replaced or fixed, but they never even attempted to help. They only suggested we season the pan as you will read below.
Copper Chef
[19:40] TonyB: My pan is scartched and no longer can use without oil
[19:40] Thank you for visiting chat! We will be with you shortly.
[19:48] Marielle: May I know if you seasoned your pan before cooking , please?
[19:48] TonyB: I only cooked sausage and eggs? You mean use oil?
[19:49] TonyB: this is the circle pan.
[19:49] TonyB: the other sqaure pan is great.
[19:49] Marielle: Seasoning your pan will help extend the life of your nonstick pans.
[19:49] TonyB: what is seasoning?
[19:50] Marielle: We have two methods of seasoning the pan. You need to put oil on your pan and make sure that the entire inner pot is covered with oil then heat it for about 5-10 minutes in a medium heat repeat process for 2-3 times and wipe the pan with to remove the excess oil you can also use your oven to season your pan put oil on your pan and heat it for about 300°F for an hour then wipe the excess oil.
[19:50] TonyB: oh ok .
[19:51] TonyB: however this pan has scratches and it is getting worse but I will use that method now .
[19:51] TonyB: is there a way to get this pan fixed?
[19:51] Marielle: When cooking please try to pre-heat the pan for at least 3-4 minutes using low to medium heat settings to avoid the issue that you have encountered.
[19:51] TonyB: i always do that
[19:51] TonyB: we never cook on a cold pan
[19:52] Marielle: The scratch might be caused of the too much heat from the burner. Copper Chef is heat resistant, but has a limit. Try to reduce the amount of the heat if you are using Copper Chef in your burner for more that an hour. However, the scratch on the bottom of the pan will not affect the non-stick feature
[19:53] TonyB: I use medium on the burner and only about 20 mins tops on the cooking. I thinking maybe not seasoning the pan did it
[19:54] TonyB: i do use this pan alot too
[20:00] Marielle: As with all non-stick cookware, we recommend using non-metallic, plastic or silicone cooking utensils.
[20:03] TonyB: I also noticed the pan is raising in the middle?
[20:04] TonyB: so the non-stick is not true you have to use oils
[20:13] Marielle: We have recipes online that needs oil or butter, however, we encourage and we recommend to minimize the usage of oil since the Copper Chef pan has a cerami-tech non-stick coating, it cooks without butter, oils&chemicels, OTFE and PFOA free.
[20:13] Marielle: Is there anything else I can assist you with?
Thank you for chatting with us. Have a great Day!
Notice the long no response after the question, and then they decided to just hang up! I offered them to contact me in an email as well, with NO luck.

I bought the $75.00 special for my son for Christmas. I ordered it in September.
When the box arrived, I looked through it to make sure everything I paid for had been included, BUT I did not realize that the legs for the steamer were NOT included! He called me after he took everything out of the box to use the steamer for his meal and advised that there were no legs. I was NOT happy.
I called the company, and they gave me some song and dance and advised I should not have to open the box to make sure they didn't screw up. After three conversations, I was told I would get another steamer pan with legs for shipping and handling of $7.99. They wanted me to pay for another pan, but I refused and settled for the above.
I was to receive it within 5-7 business days, but it has been three weeks, and I have still received nothing. I called the company, and they advised that this product was on back order and I would receive it within the next two weeks.
I am NOT HAPPY about this. If I do not receive it by the given time, I am going to file a complaint against Tristar and Copper Chef for misrepresentation. I will get this handled one way or another!

This is the worst pan I have ever bought. Everything sticks, with or without oil, and it scratches with plastic utensils. Beware, don't buy it, I have used mine six times and it looks like it has been two years old.

As I am reading reviews here, I thought to myself; I bet many people are not even reviewing the right product!
I have a culinary degree and own one of the best wedding cake companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I have bought the most expensive (Waterless cooking set for $5,000) and the cheapest (when I was in college). I love cooking with these pots and pans. I have a lot of everything, and these copper pans are the absolute best I have ever bought. And I'm talking about the Copper Chef pans, NOT Red Copper nor any other copper pans, but Copper Chef and Copper Chef Pro.
But please shop around, and stop buying from the TV and start buying from vendors like Bed Bath & Beyond, Sam's Club and Target. They offer all of these pans, and Sam's Club even offers the Copper Chef PRO set, which offers the biggest set for only $69.99.
I swear by this, and if I could post a picture I would show you I have 12 pans hanging in my kitchen right now. I LOVE them!

My 9-inch deep pan is scratched on the bottom. They told me it happened because of cooking with high heat. I cook on a glass top stove. They say it is a 100% guarantee. They also say you can use temperature of 850 degrees, and I cook on medium heat. My other Copper Chef pans are not doing that. It makes no sense. Please help me.

The customer service is horrible, and they don't care if you're happy with your product or not. I ordered my Copper Chef XL with induction cooktop on February 23rd. Upon inspection, I noticed that the pan was dented in three spots, so I returned the pan on March 4th for an exchange. I called them several times to find out where the replacement was and I was told to call back, so I did.
As of April 7th, I still don't have the replacement pan. I can't comment on if it works because I wasn't able to use it. I'm tired of waiting, so now I'm sending everything back. I will never order from them again.

I purchased the 9 and 1/2" deep square pan from QVC. I fell in love with it. I even deep-fried food in it with no problems. My one complaint is that the grease that gets cooked on the outside is impossible to remove, but so far the interior has not been affected.
I liked my pan so much that I purchased the larger deep square pan, along with the induction burner. I have had no problems with the pan.
In December, Sam's Club ran a Copper Chef special that included the large deep square pan and the 12" round skillet. I purchased it. The skillet became my "go to" cooking vessel.
Then I stir-fried fresh mushrooms without oil and noticed that a crust formed on the skillet. When I attempted to clean/wash it, I had to use a non-abrasive scrubber (Scrub Daddy) to remove the crust. From that point on, the skillet has been sticking. The only thing that does not stick is liquid or food with liquid, such as sauces and soups. It also scratches easily, and I use wooden and other non-metal utensils.
I believe the warranty is 60 days, so time has passed for a refund or exchange.
Even though I have not had a problem with the two deep pans, there is obviously a problem with the interior becoming non-stick, based on certain foods or cooking methods. The company needs to address this. I would not recommend this product to anyone and will warn those I know who have purchased it.
I am going back to my All-Clad.
