Overcharged. Nothing accurate about the information advertise as far as price and shipping.

By Ricky , Lewisville, TX

Upon seeing the advertisement on copper fat on TV on a Sunday morning, my brother and I decided to order a couple pair of the copper fat products. Upon dialing the one 800 number I proceeded to give them the order. Not only were the prices that they were quoting online and this specials not honored but they tried to charge of shipping and handling twice. After having reminded lady that was receiving the order about the specials that she argued with me that weren't there.

We were still willing to try the product. Upon giving the order taker the credit card information and being quoted a price of $53 I asked for a email confirmation receipt upon which I never did get and also to find that my credit card was over charged $15. And then after we place the order the Standard shipping was 14.95 and then it would be received within 4 to 8 weeks I told her that was absolutely ridiculous. At the price of that shipping it could've been over nighted. All in all a very bad very unprofessional experience with the copper fit one 800 number. I would never buy from them again online and would recommend to not get caught up in the overcharging of the product and shipping overcharging as I did and this company not sending a email confirmation receipt as was requested. Truly it is a scam.

Don't have the product yet but if it does work I will find out around here to buy it locally. All in all the TV commercials and one 800-number orders are scams to overcharge you with different fees, excess charging and shipping and handling and to not guaranteed a special they're offering. All in all it's a scam.

Worth every bit of $9.00

By Joseph , Michigan

I suffered a meniscus tear to my knee a month ago. I have tried several knee braces (one costing $50.00), several compression sleeves and all types of pain meds (OTC and prescription). Someone told me that they had felt some relief by using the copper fit sleeve. I just happened to see it while browsing at CVS and bought it for 9 bucks. My knee still hurts but the pain is definitely less while wearing this sleeve. I will wear it until surgery in a few weeks. I only need Naprosyn once a day now.

Total rip off

By Bob Theroux , Ruskin, FL

They don't work as advertised. They start to roll down after a few steps so you have to keep stopping and pulling them up. I know they were the right size because they were tight around the calf of my leg. If I would have gotten a smaller size they would have been way too tight.

So I rate the quality as a 1 out of 10. They charge between 8 to 10 times the actual shipping cost and don't refund that portion of the payment.

The item is also advertised as if they were made in the U.S. but the package says made in China. Save your money and buy a better one for less money at your local drug store or at Wal-Mart.

Copper Fit Scam

By Karl Martin , San Francisco Bay Area

After noticing the Copper Fit TV ad I went to order online. TV ad stated 19.99 one sleeve, order now and get a second sleeve for only the shipping and handling charge. I ordered two pairs of sleeves, (1 elbow set & 1 knee set). I soon find out the product does not arrive after a few weeks with no additional communication from Co. Then a series of phone calls start coming asking for additional money for a series of coupon discounts & if I accepted this offer I would receive a $100. free gasoline gift card. I told the caller I only wanted the Copper Fit product. Two more calls came and finally I told the caller to stop calling and get me my order.

Next, the order arrives within one week and my account is billed $78.41 while I was expecting charges in the $40-$50. range, max. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this highly unethical business/SCAM! When I called to complain I was told the coupon offer came from a 3rd Party and not Copper Fit.

Copper Fit for Knees

By Gene Brown , Memphis, TN

Unfortunately, I am one of the suckers that fell for the "As Seen On TV Ad" for Copper Fit. I ordered one plus so called one free, "Just Pay Shipping And Handling" for the free one. I'm eventuality going to have both of my knees replaced but I'm try everything I can to postpone the surgery. Anyway, after viewing the TV commercial I gave it a try and was totally dissatisfied. I realize they offer money back minus any shipping and handling which would cost me the $16.00 I paid to get them, plus the shipping charges to return them. If after reading this you are still considering to try them, I suggest you go to your local Walgreens' and buy them for $9.95 with no shipping and handling cost.

Scam Company

By Don Burton , North Dakota

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. this company is full of nonsense. I ordered a set of knee and a set of elbow sleeves and my order total was $71.94 that's with the way over priced of $31.96 shipping and handling charges. They billed me twice and I obviously called them about it. The first operator said one charge was a hold, Why put a hold on twice. I called my bank and the charges had not gone through. I called the bank back two days later and both of the charges went thru. I called the company back again and they are now saying that I placed two orders but I told them I did not. I placed one order. I gave them my order number, but they continued insisting that I placed two orders. This is a way for them to get and keep that $31.96 S&H fees. One big scam.

Bad service, never tried the product

By Jorge Martinez-Amaya , Georgia

My review is about the service, they promised my order will ship in two weeks. Eight weeks after I still get the "your order will ship soon" even though I called twice they keep saying my order will ship soon. I canceled, never, never again from this company.

Product review

By Cindy Christy , Ohio

I purchased a pair of the knee sleeves for my son. Buyer beware, "Buy one, get one free." We ended up with 2 pair of sleeves at $19.99 per unit, totaling $38.98. Processing and handling cost was $31.96. This is almost the cost of the four sleeves. Product was inferior, offering no support and the upper and lower bands kept rolling. And of course the processing and handling fees are non-refundable. Would not recommend this product. I thought we were purchasing Tommy Copper Product. Take time to read product name.

Upset with customer service & ordering process, not the product

By Mark , Englewood, OH

I want to comment on the ordering procedure not the product. I am trying the product now and will discuss it later after I have evaluated it. The ordering process is ridicules. I tried to order two XXL knee sleeves. The web site got hung up twice. It didn't give me a total or a conformation notice so I gave up on ordering on line. I called the customer service number and ordered it that way.

A week later I received two orders of the XXL knee sleeves (basically double the order) for double the price. Now I have to ship the other pair back at my expense. Not only that, but remember the other two orders that got hung up and didn't go through online. They were getting ready to ship those as well. One other thing, a week into the order I received a call from the company (Copper fit) for a gas card that I would have to cancel if I didn't want it.

The girl on the other end would not take no for an answer even when I got rude. This seems like an outright scam. I will keep the one pair of sleeves and try them out. They seem comfortable but if a company tries so hard to get extra money this way they aren't worried about making a good product. Don't put up with the hassle. I'm going to have to check my debit card closely for more charges.

100% Scam. Don't buy.

By Unhappy Camper , Midwest

They charge your credit card without your authorization, then ship you a product that you don't want. When you decline to accept the product from the mail service and have it returned to sender, they will deduct S&H from their "refund".

The item is the equivalent of an ACE bandage and they charge almost $70 S&H, which they don't refund even though you refused the package and returned it unopened.

They deceive, mislead and lie at every turn. They need to be investigated by authorities and shut down. Sooner the better.
