Copper Fit Gloves

By Mark D., Cumberland, MD, Verified Reviewer

I have pain in both my hands from arthritis. I saw your advertisement for Copper Fit gloves. While at my local CVS pharmacy in Downtown Cumberland, Maryland, I walked past a pair of Large size gloves sitting on the shelf. I purchased them. I started to wear them around the house and when I go to Planet Fitness gym. I have had these gloves for almost two weeks. I believe they are helping me.

I have a problem that I want to tell you about. The thread in the thumb and finger seams is coming out and the fingers are no longer staying together. Lucky for me I know how to sow and have been able to repair them. For $19 a pair I should not have to do this. For the most part, all I'm doing is wearing them.

I would have taken them back but the CVS only had one pair of large size gloves and I want to keep using them. I want you to review your manufacturing process and fix this issue so others don't have this problem.

Thanks.

Their customer service sucks

By H L., Fort Lauderdale, FL, Verified Reviewer

Purchased a compression sleeve from them. It started to fall apart after a few uses. Had purchased other sleeves from them and they had been good. Newest one came with stripes. One fell off and the other one is coming off. I tried contacting them a few times with no response.

Length of Use: 6–12 months

Misleading advertising

By D.M. Newton , Kansas City, Kansas

Like some others, I thought that when you order they came in sets of two, one for each leg. To my dismay, I found out this was not so. It also took four weeks for the product to arrive. The tracking number they gave me was no help. I have not tried them out yet; but I suspect they probably belong in the same class as "Carter's liver pills". I don't think I will be dealing with them again.

Please read all of the reviews, particularly regarding shipping and customer service prior to ordering. I didn't at first and now really regret that.

Where's the 86% copper?

By marie, san gabriel, ca, Verified Reviewer

I just bought the Copper Fit knee sleeve. On the package it states it's 86% copper. On the knee sleeve it states it's 4% copper with other fibers. I bought the sleeve so my knee wouldn't hurt so much when I walk up a 2 mile hill for work. I really don't feel much compression from the sleeve. Support hose has more compression.

Could be better

By Kyle , Geneva, NY

Great product for the most part. The fit is great and I can feel the compression on my knee. My biggest complaint is that it keeps rolling down my leg. The should have used something more than just silicon for grip and once that starts to roll its absolutely useless and you have to fix it every time it happens.

Do not bother to buy this.

By Fran Pate , Hartselle, Al

I ordered the back brace about 2 months ago. I have problems with my back and will try almost anything but medicine. I did not hear anything from them except they were on backorder. Why would they take your order if they did not have them in stock? Or at least give you the opportunity to decide if you wanted to wait. I looked for a phone #, but could not find one. I would NOT order this again, nor recommend it.

Poor quality back support

By L A , Michigan

Looks nice, felt nice, but second time wearing and the fabric is tearing where the Velcro is sewn on. Luckily, I didn't get the shaft on the shipping, mine was free and I'm not paying to have a replacement sent. I will call Visa and dispute this problem, if timely and proper solution not is found.

Back Brace side effect

By Jeanne Tokarsky, California, Verified Reviewer

I had a very severe injury to my lower back L4 &5 in July 2010. I experience considerable pain even with pain medication. I am a female of 67 years old. I purchased the Copper Fit Back brace. I do understand frustration of a number of purchases because it took over two months to receive my order. I have an area just to right side of spine that breaks out in Shingles every once in awhile. I had not had a breakout (rash) for almost two years. I started wearing the brace and found wearing problems so stopped wearing after two days. Within a couple of days, I started breaking out in the shingles rash in same area which had been underneath the brace.

I cannot prove there is a correlation, so as much as I am not looking forward to this, I am going to try brace again now that shingles rash has healed up. I wondered if any others had side effects similar to this. You cannot believe how much I hope this actually does work, but am cautious for right now.

Copper Fit

By icdcow1, Modesto, CA, Verified Reviewer

Wife says it works for her. Placebo effect? I would not waste my money on this product. Buy an Ace bandage, and set the compression to what works for you personally. Just saying.
