Daily Burn is a burn

By Marilyn B., Santa Fe, NM, Verified Reviewer

$30.00 to cancel? I decided to cancel my subscription because there really weren't programs geared towards older people.

When I tried to cancel, they informed me that they were giving me a "discounted cancelation fee" of $30.00. My credit card company asked me to call them, which I did. My oh my - they don't take phone calls.

This is not a user-friendly company. Do yourself a favor - don't start with this company. There are plenty of other just as good options for fitness that actually don't try to gouge their customers.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hi Marilyn, I'm sorry for any confusion. We do not charge a cancellation fee and you can cancel your Daily Burn account at any time and your account access will expire at the end of your current billing cycle. Please email support@dailyburn.com if you need any further assistance.

Love it.

By Laura , Indianapolis

Daily Burn is great. I love that there are so many workouts to choose from. For me doing the same thing over and over again just sucks the motivation right out of me. I am in my free trial time and in the second week of Inferno (I was doing Insanity) and I am anxious to wake up tomorrow morning for the next workout. There will be no cancelation of my membership here, though Planet Fitness will go bye.

More app options please

By Joanne , Seattle, WA

I love DailyBurn. There are workout tips for whatever mood I'm in. The few workouts I've been able to do really kicked my butt. However, I can no longer do workouts since the app is not available on the PlayStation 4. I'm going to have to cancel my subscription if I can't use it.

Love Daily Burn!

By Stacey Tenant, Verified Reviewer

I'm not sure if the Canadian vs American experience may differ but I have nothing but good things to say about this app. I have cancelled and re-activated my membership multiple times, with a simple click of my mouse and have never had any billing issues or concerns. I enjoy the mixture of workouts available based on my goal or the day though I do wish they would introduce more programs. Overall DB has helped me move towards achieving my fitness goals; I've lost weight, inches and gained muscle, strength and confidence from the convenience of my basement. Reading this review, it sounds fake lol, but I assure you it's not. If you're motivated to workout at home and enjoy challenging yourself, then I highly recommend DB.

Total scam

By Kimberly Bader, New York, Verified Reviewer

After signing up for a 30 day trial, I decided not to continue with Daily Burn. I canceled my subscription and received an email from the company explaining that my subscription was canceled. However, my subscription reactivated on it's own and without my knowledge. I was changed 30/month for 5 months before I realized it. So, I gave $180 to Daily Burn and received absolutely nothing in return. I couldn't even call the company to talk to someone about this because they have no customer service whatsoever. It's literally impossible to speak to someone from Daily Burn. I feel totally taken advantage of and would highly recommend that you NEVER sign up for them and give them your credit card information. It's a shady organization that definitely cannot be trusted.

Great at home exercises

By Sarah G., West Virginia, Verified Reviewer

I've had DailyBurn since 2015. I previously used DVD's to workout but was looking for something new. When I started, they had several pre-recorded programs. They have since added multiple new programs and a daily workout that's streamed live called 365. I LOVE DailyBurn. I never get bored. I've worked out to every level, from my fitness peak in 2016 when I was doing the Black Fire program, to when I had to back down due to an injury in 2018 and do the True Beginner program. I can't recommend DailyBurn enough.

Works if you work it!

By Laura, Verified Reviewer

I did the free trial and within two weeks signed up for a year subscription.

I started with True Beginner and they give you a program calendar which I input into my digital calendar so I could keep track. Good thing I did because sometimes my X-Box would preview the correct workout for the day and sometimes it wouldn't. It also made me make myself accountable by having a calendar reminder for the daily workout. I would open the appointment and record my calories burned and any thoughts I had.

I love Justin, the trainer for True Beginner, as his focus is on stability and is based in martial arts. His banter is not too intrusive and doesn't get annoying after doing the same workouts for a couple of weeks. His is an eight week program so there is usually two weeks, twice a week of the same workouts and they don't get tiresome at all.

I've just dabbled in the supplements so I have no opinion myself, that's why I came to this site to see if anyone had a review of them.

There are add-ons but I didn't see the value for me.

Rip off

By Vicki Clark , Illinois

DailyBurn has been taking money out of my account even after I canceled my account with them the first day I signed up.

Hi Vicki, after looking through our records, I see that I took care of your request earlier this month. It looks like you had paused your subscription for future renewal (which is why you were charged when your account renewed), but we were able to work with you in providing you with a full refund for the unused account.

False advertising

By Shilo Sievers , Arizona

I find it hilarious and a little disheartening that they use a picture of Jennifer Stone in one women's testimony claiming it to be her. If this is the lengths they are willing to go, then I highly doubt they work.

Dissatisfied

By Paul , GA

Let me start by saying the workouts are good, but they misinform you about cost. I signed up for the free 30-day trial and forgot to cancel and they say it costs $12.95 a month but I was charged $52 dollars. I would not recommend this service, you can get the same information in a men's health magazine.

Hi Paul! While our Monthly Standard plan is $12.95, it sounds like you had opted into the full DailyBurn experience which includes 1:1 coaching. We'll be able to help you out if you haven't already reached out to us: support@dailyburn.com
