Relief for my fur baby!

By Virginia B., Hesperia, CA, Verified Reviewer

My 11-year-old corgi-pom mix was losing her hair and scratching herself raw. Nothing the vet gave was effective for it. I've been hearing about Dinovite on the radio for years and finally "heard" it.

It took a few weeks before it kicked in but it was really effective on her scratching once it did. After 3 months, her groomer commented on how much better her hair and skin were. She's back to being the fluffy butt she's always been.

She's also gotten her playful personality back and is less anxious.

I had some questions regarding how much to use for her size. Customer service responded quickly to my concerns.

I'll keep using it forever! Thank you Dinovite!

Length of Use: 3–6 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Product was really effective as advertised

Stopped scratching

Improved skin and hair

Bought for a different problem...

By June H., Irving, TX, Verified Reviewer

I have heard that although Dinovite was supposed to help with itching, etc., I also heard it stopped dogs from eating poop and it did! We had 2 miniature Dachshund sisters who both did this (yuk) and in just a few days of feeding Dinovite, the poop-eating stopped! The girls have passed on now but I kept the last empty box in case we ever needed it again, don't want to forget the name. Thanks!

Length of Use: 2+ years

Dinovite has helped to restore my dog's fur coat and improved his smell

By Kenneth H., Alabama, Verified Reviewer

I purchased Dinovite and tried the egg hamburger diet and none of my dogs liked it. I then started putting it in their food and they gobbled it up. I know it is responsible for both my older dogs improved fur coat and less itching. Their smell has been reduced and is noticeably not as strong. They show more energy and their eyes are brighter. I am buying my second boxes and added the Lickochops and Omega 3 & 6 supplement! Looking for even more improvement and hopefully happier dogs! will Keep you updated!!!!

P.S. Two of my dogs are 14 years old and 3 of them are 3 or less! Two medium sized and 3 small!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Returning Dinovite and Like o Chops

By Karen T., Bloomington, IN, Verified Reviewer

My dog won't go near his food with these supplements on it.

However, I do like the shampoo. I will be returning the other products. I had high hopes as I couldn't spell any smell with this product but he must have as he sniffed it and walked away.

If my dog had liked I would have given a 5.

Did not stop labrador from licking nor shedding

By Renee, Verified Reviewer

Sorry to say, I was hopeful but Dinovite did not stop my labrador from licking nor shedding hair. It merely softened his coat. I used an entire box for three months and avoided other treats. Poor dog's problem actually got worse! He licked hair off and groin area turned tough and blackened. I should have simply gone to the vet. That said, I tried steroid shot and do NOT recommend. It did not help my labrador either. Best bet is to avoid common food allergens to Labs such as poultry, grain and corn. Antibiotics helped.

Lucky dog won't eat

By Jane Lawler, New Berlin, WI, Verified Reviewer

I have tried several different ways to feed this to our dog, and no matter what we do, she will not eat her food if this stuff is in it. It smells horrible.

Not sure it helps

By Dan, Florida, Verified Reviewer

Our 11-year-old Golden Retriever started looking weak; excessive hair loss, lethargic, noticeable weight loss, hot spots, and gooey eyes. The vet put her on antibiotics and steroids.

She got better for a while, and then we started on Dinovite. She seemed to respond but wouldn't eat it. I cook whole organic chickens, carrots, sweet potatoes and broccoli and mix with her dry food and Dinovite. What we noticed was a "phlegm" in her stools that almost looked like intestinal tissue. It came and went and she began to regress.

Three weeks ago we stopped the Dinovite after she had a major accident in the house. EVERYWHERE! I began to give her half a teaspoon of virgin organic coconut oil with each meal and cut back on the total food intake. She looks AMAZING! Her weight has increased noticeably. Her coat looks good, there are no hot spots, and she wants to play all the time. Try coconut oil. So inexpensive and we use it ourselves.

I can't say anything negative about Dinovite, but this seems to be working. Will keep you posted.

Not for my cat.

By Tim, Jonesboro, AR, Verified Reviewer

I tried the Dinovite for cats, but my cat wouldn't eat it, didn't like it at all. So it was a waste of time and money. YCMV (Your Cat May Vary)

Didn't do anything for my dog

By Therese Gastineau, Washington, Verified Reviewer

My dog has been using the product for three months now and it has done nothing for him. He's still scratching, and he smells horrible, just like the smell of the Dinovite. The last few days we have stopped putting it in his food because we think the Dinovite is causing all his issues. He's on Blue Basics Grain Free dog food, so we know it isn't because of the food. We will not continue the Dinovite anytime in the future.

Still waiting on refund

By Chris T., Florida, Verified Reviewer

Unfortunately, I was not able to use the product, my pet passed away two days before it arrived. I called Dinovite and they told me that I can get a full refund. They received it on October 15th. And still noncredit. They told me it can take 30 days for a refund. Hopefully it comes fast.

Smells fishy, my dogs didn’t like it

By Wes L., Texas, Verified Reviewer

The powder looked like finely chopped grass and the liquid really stinks. I never tried to get my money back. I figured I learned my lesson. You can lead a horse to water but if they don’t like it that’s too bad. They ate it once. They refused it every time thereafter.

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Prompt shipping

Expensive product

The fishy oil bottle leaked some during shipping

Very stinky
