My dog and I have been quite pleased with her new food from Dr. Marty! She took to it right away. Hmmm, she must know what delicious and healthy dog food should taste like!
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Summary
Dr. Marty Nature’s Blend is a brand of dog food in which all ingredients are raw, freeze-dried, and packed with fats and proteins that can be beneficial to your dog. The ingredients are good but the price is high.

I must say when I saw the product I was very underwhelmed with the visual and physical make up. I did give it a chance and made up as per directions. Even after rehydration, I was surprised at the consistency and "stiffness" of the product and inability to mash and mix. I am using this as a supplement to regular-agreeably poor-mainstream dog food. Even with supplementation, my dog purged his first intake. He is a very picky eater, but he does seem to like this product and look forward to eating it right after being served the mixed offering. He does eat mostly just this food along with small amounts of kibble and seems to be satisfied for the most part until his next offering-usually 24 hours later. So I will continue to use this product and see how long term use pleases and maintains his nutrition. Early to tell but he seems to benefit from the food. I would recommend this product to others with some reservations.

Hello Randy. My name is Kat and I am with Dr. Marty Pets. We always recommend our customers consult their pet’s veterinarian prior to making any changes in their dog’s daily feeding regimen. We have many customers whose dogs love the flavor, but we understand that results may vary. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email me at kat@drmartypets.com. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We appreciate your comments. I wish you and your dog a great day.

One of my dogs, Chico, absolutely loves your freeze-dried food and could eat the entire bag, if allowed to do so!
But my second dog, Taco, will not touch it and just walks away?
Taco tends to be finicky anyway...

My dogs really love the food. They get excited when I am getting their meal ready. It is very costly for me, but I know if I had to prepare this type of food it would be even more. The problem I have is the ordering process. I have to go through this maze of sales pitches that sort of makes me upset. I do not have a lot of income but I want what is best for my pets. I feel guilty I am not buying the treats and other things for them. I could only do what is in my control. If I can only order what I want would make it easier. Thank you.

My dog is a mixed breed (Beagle/Retriever) and 8 years old. He is active, obedient, and happy with few problems. He has always licked his paws and I have changed his food 2 or 3 times before trying Dr. Marty's. He eats like a Beagle - always hungry! He liked all his other food and he seems to like Dr. Marty's even more. All his other food was high-quality brands but totally dry kibble. He does get lots of different treats as he is such a good boy! He was neutered at about 5 months of age, when I got him from a rescue. He came from Taiwan. He is still licking his paws. I changed him over to Dr. Marty's slowly, as suggested. He has been on the Dr. Marty's totally for the last 2 weeks. His coat may be slightly better, but I haven't really seen much difference. But I bought more food to try it for at least a month or more. He weighs about 60 lbs. and is on Trifexis for flea/heartworm control. He sees his regular vet at least once a year, and goes to a vet clinic for nail trims and emptying his anal glands, which seemed to fill up fairly quickly. He is fed twice a day, with made in USA treats of various brands, in between meals. He is the best dog ever and I want him to be healthy and live as long and happily as possible. But I am a retired senior and may not be able to afford straight Dr. Marty's indefinitely. Thank you very much for your time, and for providing a high-quality food for my very best friend.

This first time using this product. Started mixing with regular wet dog food. No problems with Maggie eating every bite. Gave her freeze-dried liver snack during the day. She actually loves them.

I have been mixing your brand with my current brand Purina ONE Smart Blend, Small Breed Adult Formula and a little water, 1/3 cup of each twice a day. At this time, I have not noticed any real significant change in my dog Maggie, but I will continue to monitor my dog. My main concern is the high price of your product.

We tried a few different dog foods but always had to mix some goodies with it, otherwise mixed results on eating it. Not anymore. Only one issue - when you buy it, it keeps giving you some better deals to buy more. It is expensive but listing one price and then giving a better deal sounds too much like bait and switch. Just give your best price to begin with, not a sales pitch, the food speaks for itself!

My experience, after the "sticker shock", has been fantastic! 10-year-old cockapoo loves it, is more active and losing needed weight! Nervous Aussie mix, 7, has always been food-fussy and often refused to eat or didn't finish - not true anymore, she can't wait to eat and finishes it every time! She is losing fat too! Somewhat due to the cost, I am using it as a topper for grain-free high-protein dry food.

My 12-year-old active 5-lbs Yorkie, Toby, loves the food. My only concern is that it seems to make him a bit constipated. I have been adding a few morsels of his former food to his bowl which seems to alleviate his constipation.
I will say that after 3 weeks on the Nature's Blend diet, Toby has a lot more energy. He zips around our farm at top speed. He seems like a puppy again.
He no longer suffers from occasional belly bloat! We are all very happy we made the switch to Nature's Blend.

My 7-year-old German Shepard used to eat when she felt like it. Now that I'm giving her this food, she excitedly waits by my side wagging her tail and can't wait for me to put the bowl down. She's perkier and has lots of energy! I love my dog and love that she really likes the food. It's a great product but honestly, it's pretty pricey.
