Dr. Marty Nature’s Blend

Our dog loves food but we have always kept her on a limited, simple, healthy diet. We are trying Dr. Marty's because we are concerned with all of the preservatives and added unnecessary ingredients in food (even prescription which we give to our dog). So far our dog loves Dr. Marty's and she seems to not have any stomach issues with it but I am watching closely as she has had digestive issues before. More to come in a few months.

Our Golden Lab is quite old, over 14 years. His health has been going downhill for a number of years. I was afraid that we were going to have to make THAT decision soon. Luckily, I found Dr. Marty online and thought - let’s take the chance.

Well, we are so glad that we did. Prince is doing much better. He still struggles to get up in the morning and can’t go up the stairs (down is not an issue,) but otherwise, he is much more energetic.

He will sometimes play with his toys, and have some rough play with his new 18-month-old brother (a Staffordshire Terrier).

We have only been using it as an add-on at this point, but he is doing so well we may have to move to having it as a full meal.

Love the product, and so glad we found it.

The ingredient list was what drew me to purchase Dr. Marty's. It is full of everything it should be: real decent meat, veggies, and fruit.

Unfortunately, the food is a very expensive product. I am unable to feed as the complete diet. I supplement what my two dogs are fed with part Dr. Marty's. If I had a single small dog I would feed 100%.

There was a noticeable change in the dogs' breath and body odors in the first couple of weeks. My husband was not happy about that, but over time it has completely disappeared.

I did not receive any instruction or "user's manual" in my shipment. I sent an email for information, but received no reply.

Overall a very good product.

Our dog is not a fussy dog when it comes to eating food. However, like all dogs, she has had her moments when she didn’t feel like eating. After serving her Dr. Marty’s food, she eats far quicker than she ever did before. It’s almost like she’s eating steak and salmon. Everything about our dog is better, looks, energy, and behaviors. It’s like superfood for dogs.

For starts, I want to give my "Lacey" the best. I love the fact that Dr. Marty's freeze-dried canine nutrition is produced from raw and perfectly suited food for a canine's needs.

The freeze-dried food is also great for travel. It won't spoil.

"Lacey" mostly finishes her Dr. Marty's at one time; other times she leaves it. Must be, "I'm not so hungry" thing.

Thank you, Dr. Marty, for creating such a perfect food for canines. I can't believe the nasty ingredients in some of the other bags of food for dogs.

My dog took right to it...she has gone through her first bag and I'm waiting for the second bag to get here. I haven't really noticed any changes or improvements yet, but I'll keep watching for something.

I have a 5-pound Maltese. I cook chicken for her and she mostly lives on that. I purchased a bag and was very surprised when I got it and put some in a bowl and she actually ate some of it. So I leave some in a bowl 24/7 in case she gets hungry between the plates of chicken. I will crumble some of your food on her chicken so she gets more nutrients.

My dog loves the food. However, after a while, when we got near the bottom of the bag, he stopped loving it. I was going to send the other two bags back, but decided to try a "fresh" bag. Voila, he loves it again.

Now I have moved the storage location to a much cooler location, and I am being extra careful to make sure the zip stays zipped.

Also, I did not receive the manual that should have been included with my first order.

Our 9-year-old "creature" (she's too sweet to be called a dog) absolutely loves Dr. Marty Nature's Blend dog food!

Immediately I noticed her bad breath was gone! Since she loves to give kisses we are thrilled! Then the thought that her regular dog food was souring in her stomach and giving her the nasty odor was shocking. After eating, she runs to get her toys for playtime. She is fed twice a day and lets us know when it's time to feed her. The only issue we have is soft stools.

You were correct in the way of opening the bag, because when I open the bag she gets up and is ready to eat, usually never happens. As for her scratching, she still scratches but will give it time.

My dog loves Nature's Blend. A month's supply, however, is greater than $100. I am retired, on a fixed income. Buying dog food as expensive as Dr. Marty's will not be sustainable.
