Dr. Marty Nature’s Blend

I am taking care of my son's 5-year-old English Bulldog (Boomer), while he serves in the Marine Corp. Boomer has always had tender knees. I bought 3 bags of Dr. Marty Nature’s Blend and followed the instructions. Boomer absolutely loved the food. He actually selected each nugget of the Nature's Blend to eat first. Boomer was smiling and running around a lot more on this food. We ran out and I haven’t ordered more. I definitely see a difference in Boomer's cute face. I will be ordering more soon.

Buck is my new old dog. I adopt senior golden retrievers and try to give them the best life possible for their remaining years. Buck is 13 years old, a bit overweight (but down from 98.9lbs to 95.7 so far!), has fatty lumps all over his body, and arthritis. I decided to try Dr. Marty's right away hoping to give him a better, longer life. I've only had him for one month and have been feeding him a 50/50 mix of Nature's Blend and the dry food he was on since I got my first order (it arrived so fast!). He has loved the food since his first bowl. I'm waiting to judge any physical improvement until he's been on it a little longer but I have to say I see an improvement in his activity level. He's jumping up (a little) on his hind legs during play time. Could be the anti-inflammatory medication his doctor and I put him on, the food, or in my opinion probably a combination of both. I will watch for improvement in his overall health and, if all goes well, slowly wean him off the meds. Hopefully Dr. Marty's will prove the cure. Time will tell!

I’m truly satisfied with the product itself but disappointed with the service when I reordered more bags. I ordered them on 10/14 and still have not received them 3 weeks later. When I called on 10/21 I was told they were ready to be mailed that day and should receive them in 7-10 days but now it's 15 days and still don’t have it.

My 2 dogs LOVE the new food. I have been mixing it with their old food (Blue Wilderness) to use up the other stuff.

It appears that they are still hungry after I feed them though. I have been feeding them the amounts indicated in the instructions but they want more?

We saw this while looking things up about dogs' health, not too sure how old he is, and this little dog means a lot to us. We want him to live for a long time. Not rich, was spending $16 to $17 a bag. He has some issues. He took to your food. Stopped eating all of the dry mix. When he was eating your food he would eat the whole bowl but still not truly sure after the second bag it seemed he was happy and poop was different. I tried to reorder 3 months more but it would not go through tried 4 times.

George is a Shitz Zu we chose from a shelter. We estimated that he was about a year old and he is with us about 7 years now. While always in good health he did have some minor issues: high liver values, redness around the eyes (within the last year) and constant licking of the feet.

Within 3 days on Dr. Marty's the licking and discharge stopped. A blood test about 4 weeks later showed normal values. His behavior got more perky and his coat (we always thought was pretty silky) got shiny and so soft. Lastly, on very expensive dog food, he always left back kibbles. Now, he leaves nothing behind and started asking for food during the day!

Our only problem is shipping to Canada is very very long. My daughter ordered a subscription in October, and as of November 14th, it has not arrived. We now have to go back and buy his old food. Customer service could not trace the order even though I received notification that it was shipped on November 01.

I am not pleased with the customer service response and get the impression that they do not care. Even though I received an email confirming shipping yet they could not trace the shipment. Great food but shipping to Canada is a big problem.

My dog loves it, the cat likes it too so I am now ordering her the cat food too. Every time I get the bag out they both line-up for it. My only issue is the expense so I am supplementing with cheaper dry food too. Is there a price break with an auto-ship option? Thank you and I look forward to seeing the benefits in my cat too!

Even though my dog, Annie, is suffering from debilitating health issues (cancer) and recently, blindness and inability to smell, I feel she is doing so much better since I started feeding her Dr. Marty Nature's Blend. Before starting her on the Dr. Marty food, she wouldn't eat and lost an extreme amount of weight. She now eats readily and has gained weight. Some people might think it's not fair to keep Annie alive, but she is so happy. She's on tramadol for her pain and since I don't see evidence of her suffering (which she was before I started her on the Dr. Marty food), I think she would want to stick around a while longer. Her vet had given up on her when she was losing so much weight. She's now even started to put on muscle weight.

Sparky liked the food just fine but there were no visible improvements to his life. I fed him this diet for over half a year and don't feel it is worth the cost I was paying. Going back to his old brand.

Our dogs love the handful of Dr. Marty’s Nature’s Blend we give them twice a day. As a matter of fact, one of our dogs will not start eating until his Dr. Marty’s Nature’s Blend food is on top of his regular kibble!

The reason I gave this food only 4 stars is due to its very high cost. As retirees, we simply cannot afford more than a handful added to the dogs’ regular meal. Wish we could, though...they love it!

My dog loves the food but the only problem is that his poop has become extremely loose. Will this improve when he takes it for a while? Still giving him his dry food mixed with Nature's Blend.
