Dry dog food

By Gloria A., Moline, IL, Verified Reviewer

Both of my Yorkies just love your food, however, they only get it as a treat as it is so expensive.

It is. It does have a strong odor about the food, however, I guess that’s just the ingredients.

I would buy it in bulk if you could bring the price down as right now it’s just too expensive.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My Poms love Dr. Marty’s chow!

By Michelle C., Houston, TX, Verified Reviewer

I have two Pomeranians; a one-year-old and a 5-year-old. Both were suffering from allergies that made them very itchy. They were scratching and biting their paws all of the time. My local vet thought they were suffering from food allergies and recommended a prescription diet. My pups did NOT like the prescription kibble (it was also very expensive) and the itching continued. My older dog is a "Hoover" (like the vacuum) and will eat almost anything - when she turned her nose up at the RX food, my husband encouraged me to switch their diet immediately! I happened along Dr. Marty’s video and figured why not try it?

We have almost finished the first bag but already I can tell the dogs are thriving on it! The puppy took one day to start eating it without encouragement (he prefers it dry) and our "Hoover" gobbled it up on the first meal (she prefers moist) and wanted more. Both pups have stopped itching completely and only the puppy still nibbles on his paws on occasion! And their fur is shiny and lush. What I’ve noticed is different and like about the food is when I crush the freeze-dried kibble between my fingers, it is soft and smooth (without a strong odor). Other freeze-dried food that I used to use for a topper felt sharp and hard between my fingers (it was not human grade so must have been some unfortunate bits mixed in, yuck!).

I feel confident going forward with Dr. Marty’s dog food. And excited to see what other positive changes I with observe in my pups! Thank you, Dr. Marty!

Dogs can’t wait for it

By Karen B., Tallahassee, FL, Verified Reviewer

Literally our dogs can't wait the three minutes you are supposed to let it sit before feeding. They do a dance and hop around. Each of them love it and I feel good knowing they are not eating that slop the major brands push. Yes it is expensive but I feel it’s worth it! I had no idea what was allowed to go into standard dog food before I listened to Dr. Marty, I was stunned. FDA should be ashamed.

Loose stools

By Bernadette C., Bradenton, FL, Verified Reviewer

My dog loves the food but the only problem is that his poop has become extremely loose. Will this improve when he takes it for a while? Still giving him his dry food mixed with Nature's Blend.

Dogs like the food

By Tammy P., Sheridan, WY, Verified Reviewer

Our fur babies like the dog food. However, it's out of our budget range. If our budget changes then we would like to buy this more often. To make this stretch we are adding a little at a time to their regular food.

Getting to love it!

By Ruth C., Hawaii, Verified Reviewer

Rusty is loving it for I feed him a mix of the blend, canned chicken, and some dry food in the ratio of 3-1-1. He would not eat the blend by itself. I am gradually weaning him off the dry food, but I don't think he'll give up the canned chicken meat.

I have noticed Rusty's appetite and alertness have increased since he started the blend. His fur has also improved! He always seems to be hungry and loves to cuddle with me!

Tiffany likes it

By Timothy R., Los Angeles, CA, Verified Reviewer

Our Maltipoo Tiffany seems to really like Nature's Blend. She’s a picky eater that is often not interested in her dog food, however, she’s pretty consistent with licking her bowl of Nature’s Blend clean. Nature’s Blend is easier to prepare than the freeze-dried food she had been eating.

6 lb Morkie who is very picky loves this food

By Valarie V., Bloomington, IN, Verified Reviewer

She was a treat eater but now she goes to her food bowl. It's early but I hope it helps with her scratching from allergies and she doesn't want treats so much. It is expensive but my little girl is worth it.

Quick delivery and several options to buy (budget-friendly). Very happy with the product and service. Love the natural products it uses. I only buy natural treats so why not give natural food to my dog.

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Small size of food bits

No artificial color or smell

My dog loves it

Cost

Love at 1st bite!

By Debra Q., Cleveland Heights, OH, Verified Reviewer

I just received my first bag of dog food today. Ironically, I had received a message yesterday that shipping was delayed. About a month ago I watched Dr. Marty's video. I'm a librarian, so I had to do some homework before I was sold. Then I had to convince myself that the price was worth it. I liked that Dr. Marty is cognizant of that and suggested using his food as a "topper" in those instances.

Well, my 10-year-old Boxer/Bulldog rescue started showing more signs of aging. This was particularly noticeable when she encountered stairs are wanted to jump in my bed at night. I tried lifting her, she's 60+ lbs. and even she didn't want that kind of help. So I remembered Dr. Marty. I ordered one bag and some treats. I mixed 1/4 cup with her dog food, she only ate 1/2 bowl, so her breakfast was still there. She was nearly ravenous and begging for more! She's slightly overweight, so I've mixed 1:4 cups in a container for the remainder of the week. I hope to see some improvement in her mobility soon, but I know it's better for her and it's obvious, she LOVES the taste!

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

Convenience - wet or dry

Packaging - easy seal bag and content labelling

Ingredients - wholesome and natural

Tasty - my dog loves it!

Cost - but I'll use it as a "topper"

They love this stuff!

I have three Jack Russell terriers that I started mixing in Dr. Marty's. Sonny is a fussy eater, he has never hesitated with Dr. Marty's. They love this food and cannot get enough. I am so glad that I ordered it and will be ordering again soon.

Great for a treat - that's it

By Michael A., Appleton, WI, Verified Reviewer

My wife bought this stuff. My dog really doesn't come when called when being titillated by rabbits. He is though in a fenced-in yard. A looked for a treat to bribe him in. A bag of this was on the table, so I opened it up. A strong odor hit my nose. I went outside with some in my hand and shook the bag. After 15 seconds he ran 60 feet across the yard and came in. He immediately dropped to receive the treats. Later to get him into his crate, I opened the bag and he came immediately. I will continue to use this for treats, because I sure as heck can't afford $500 a month to feed him.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
