Review of the monthly account

By Kimberly R., Rye, NH, Verified Reviewer

I am extremely frustrated with this company. I canceled my membership back in January and I still get charged $49.95 each month. For 3 months, each month I call they say they have no record of charging my credit card. I read the credit card to them and they say sorry, no record yet. Each month I get my credit card statement and there it is – charged by Fabletics, $49.95. I have copies, emails of charges, and they refuse to assist me. Today the woman said to take it up with my credit card, not them. I will and I am angry.

Length of Use: 1–2 years

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The worst ever!

This company is nothing but a big scam. DO NOT ever use them. Also, the men's joggers' pockets suck. Everything falls out. Horrible company.

I thought based on the ownership this company was legitimate and responsible. I found out otherwise.

By Linda K. ,

I, very middle-classed, purchase a $19.95 pair of pants for my son-in-law for Christmas. I came to realize they came with a $59.99 monthly fee. Pants rental, I suppose, lol, it is ridiculous. Watch out. I would very much like the $120 extra I paid, to be returned to me. The moral to the story, if you buy $19 pants, you need to be sure you don't agree to a $59.99 fee to enjoy the pants.

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Pros and Cons

The pants

The cost and lack of responsibility

Incompetent staff and cheap website

By Margie Smith, Virginia , Verified Reviewer

They take money out of account when told to skip a month. They take money out of account when you put items in wish list.

Not worth the hassle

By Bridget W, Newark, DE, Verified Reviewer

I had two separate Fabletics VIP accounts to reap the benefits of the first time free. Then I really didn't see the benefit of using it anymore, and they hiked up the monthly cost per outfit even if you were VIP. It was annoying that I had to skip each month or else I'd be charged.

When I finally decided to cancel they try and convince you not to. There is no simple button to click to cancel, which is silly. I even tried to do the live chat in hopes of it going quicker, but they still try to fight you on changing your mind or offering you extra points that won't even be enough to redeem anything worthy.

If you really think you'll buy a new exercise outfit every month then sure, this is the site for you. But if you're more of a "one and done," you're better off going to Target.

Membership problems

By Brian Belvin, Connecticut, Verified Reviewer

I just joined them and then saw this site, so after I get my deal I will cancel my membership. One trick to cancel a membership is to call two times send an email, then call the credit card company and tell them you lost your card so they issue you a new one. They will not be able to use the old card.

Scam

By Jennifer M., New York, NY, Verified Reviewer

After rushing through product searches as a timer clicked on in the corner of my screen, in order to get the $19 two-piece outfit deal, I noticed the two for $24 leggings and decided to purchase those as well. The leggings were priced as marked on the checkout screen but the outfit was not coming through with the deal. I went out and chose another outfit marked $19 to replace the first with since the deal was not coming through, same problem, I was being charged full price for it.

I quickly paid as I was running out of time and figured I'd lose the two for $24 legging deal too, so I paid for the purchase and called customer service. HUGE waste of time. The rep only told me that I couldn't have both "deals." Nowhere was that readily legible, NOWHERE. Then he said I could cancel my order and place it again with some special VIP sale that was going on only today (where is this on the site?). I asked for a supervisor who was incredibly less helpful than his rep was. They both just kept repeating my name and the word "yes" a whole lot but saying and doing a whole lot of nothing.

Basically, I could not get the deal, and now I have a monthly membership which I didn't realize I was signing up for! The timer is the kicker, forcing you to quickly make your purchase, thinking you're getting a better deal - I'll never be this stupid again. I'll never order from here again, and I'm canceling this ridiculous monthly program. I'd rather pay more at Lululemon and not have to deal with bogus "customer service" and fictitious deals.

Got somebody else's order

By Bella G., New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

I created an account back in June 2018 when I saw Demi sponsoring the company, but decided not to get anything. My non-VIP account remained untouched since June. Today I got a package from Fabletics addressed to me. I looked in my recent orders and saw nothing. After opening the package, I noticed the receipt had my first name and mailing address correct. My last name starts with the letter G but the last name was different. After checking my profile, I also noticed that I only put XL sizes and the three things they sent me were Medium or Small. It's annoying to me because a company this big with so much celebrity endorsement shouldn't get this wrong. How does that even happen? I am now waiting to speak to customer service because I'm not trying to steal from the company. Plus, this poor girl who was supposed to get this welcome pack was cheated. Get it together, "flab-letics."

A lot of hassle for so little payoff

By Hope H., Moscow, ID, Verified Reviewer

It's sad that this site isn't better. I wish so badly I could buy some of the items advertised on this site.

Firstly, they advertise these amazing deals all over Instagram and Facebook, but nowhere on those advertisements do they state that you have to opt into the VIP membership to get the deal. If you don't, the products you get are over $100 usually. I ordered a set weeks ago, and according to my FedEx account, it's still "in transit" and has been for ages! I'll be surprised if it gets here at all. I decided to cancel the membership based on shipping alone, and the rep (obviously not from the US) canceled it for me, but was short and unhelpful and tried to offer me $10 worth of credit (which would have amounted to??? I have no idea!) to keep the account. And this was the fourth time trying to contact them and the first time I had gotten a response.

Also, you can't email them despite the fact that it's the first mode of communication they offer. I emailed about the cancelation and got an automatic email stating that they don't check or use their email service anymore.

Honestly, I'm wondering if they will charge me for VIP despite my cancelation. If that's the case, I'm not messing with this nonsense and just calling my credit card company to block all charges. I can already tell it will just be too much trouble.

Ripped in the first hike

By Julie H., Colorado, Verified Reviewer

I bought these leggings. Thinking they were so special and high quality. I will give them - the fabric is nice. The fabric feels great. I went on a hike the first time I wore these. Got back and there’s a hole in the crotch of them! For $50 you think I want leggings that get holes the first use? No thanks. Next.

Return process is horrible

By Melissa C., Durham, NC, Verified Reviewer

I returned 2 pairs of leggings for $31. I mailed them back about 4 weeks ago and BARELY got an email saying I will expect a refund of $13. I paid $31 but I’m only being refunded $13? I will never buy from them again.
