The monthly fee pays off by the competitive prices, a vast amount of fun facts that satisfy curiosity. You don't only get to enjoy the drink, but also to appreciate it, knowing how much work, effort, ideas, knowledge, and luck is incorporated in the drink, sitting on your table.

Out of all the member benefits (and there are quite a few), I particularly like the sample boxes, which offer a glimpse into the variety of the world of liquor. This way it's easy for someone to get an idea of what they like or don't like at an affordable price. They also make a nice gift and come with ideas of how to make them into a fun tasting experience with your friends. If you're willing to share, that is.

I have adored the ability to taste the various products in the Tasting Boxes, but the real draw to me is the school that Flaviar offers. It takes you through the how and why of each area of the various alcohols, and I love it. Well worth the price for not only product opportunity, but for a chance to understand why I love the product.

I actually had the chance to show off to my niece and nephew. I bought a bottle of Koval whiskey and combined with an Asiatic and the Star Spangled tasting boxes I put on a taste test that went over very well. They shared my enthusiasm as we smelled, sipped and talked about whiskey, whisky, bourbon and scotch for hours. Yes, there is a difference between whiskey and whisky, you are taught all about it in the school.

Worth ever penny spent, I have enjoyed the experience immensely.

I have been a member of Flaviar for a few years now, and the best part of the club is finding new favorite whiskeys. I have a few "staples" that are almost always on my shelf and offered by the club, but it is great to find another fantastic bottle to add to the bar. It wouldn't happen without the club, and the prices are comparable to buying anywhere else for me.

Besides the amazing taste, I like the great service I received from Flaviar. And they have quick delivery to the customer, even though I live far up north in Sweden, where the Northern Lights play in the sky and the temperature during the winter drop below minus 40 degrees.
