I have made a number of purchase of whiskeys that I could not find locally. Flaviar's selection is limited at any given time but is always changing and 'good stuff' turns up quite often. They also have very rare spirits.

Flaviar ships from the US so the shipping prices for whiskeys from Ireland, Scotland, etc. are better than overseas vendors. Their shipments are always well-packaged and delivered is a very timely manner.

Their service is excellent, and I recommend Flaviar without reservation.

The single distilleries that Flaviar has found and has gotten single batches from them are the best tasting liquor I ever had at a reasonable price. Flaviar finds the little places that normal bars and even high-end bars would not have. Keep it up Flaviar.

First off, I love the idea of being able to buy new and different liquors from home. The site is super easy to use. The variety is just amazing, and there are so many things to choose from. Customer service and support have been excellent so far also. I couldn't be happier with a company, especially from the first order. To be perfectly honest, I tried this scotch from a suggestion from a friend. I enjoyed the taste and texture of this scotch. I'm a regular purchaser on this site. I love the whole Flaviar experience. I especially like the tasting boxes which are a real hit for my guests in the office. When I have visitors for a late business meeting in a more relaxed atmosphere, I offer the one small glass contained in the tasting boxes. I always have a gin box, whiskey box, and cognac box! They go faster than I can reorder them!

It has a beautiful woodsy taste that the rustic individual would like. The single malt whiskey is sharp, which would go good with complementary cheeses or breads. I have used this whiskey with pepperoni and asiago cheese, way delicious.

Well, so far I'm really ecstatic about the entire experience.

The taster pack, while actually only three nips, which to a weathered connoisseur like myself fails to measures up. However, I was beyond satisfied with the ritual and presentation involved taking a mere daily function and elevating it to a reverend near-religious experience. My hat is off to them and their compatriots, the process with which they transform a potentially negative habit into a productive activity is simply sublime.

I ordered a bottle of Redbreast Lustau Edition just because I got curious about this pot and what I read about other editions from Redbreast.

Ordering was easy as always at Flaviar.com, and I also got a free sample of Hennessy XO that was a great surprise! (You don't know what kind of sample you get, so I was a little scared I would get a cheap strange whiskey, but this compared to my ordered bottle quality.)

The rest of the family is at a neighbor's, so I can fully focus and enjoy these sweet golden drops without any disturbance!

Flaviar provides a unique opportunity to sample a realm of spirit one would not normally consider due to the strata in which it resides. We would not consider purchasing a bottle of this quality just to try it out but, once having sampled the quality, we can easily see the value in the investment as well as the enjoyment in the experience.
