Not worth the money
My six-month subscription was a Christmas gift from my wife, and initially, I was very excited about it.
And then the Welcome Box came. There were three vials of not even a finger of mediocre whiskey. Definitely not a box I would have chosen, but there goes one of two boxes that were paid for. I looked at the pricing for some of the bottles I was interested in and they were the same, if not more expensive, than buying it locally (never mind the hassle of having to pick the box up from from FedEx since they need a signature and only deliver during the day while I'm at work).
The second tasting box is on its way now, so that's $20 per vial. You get better prices (and a more generous pour) by just going to a bar. The only way this might be worth it is if you don't have any stores with any kind of selection near you. Don't waste your money; try them at a decent bar and then buy the bottle somewhere else.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Good product offering bad customer service
I ordered a bourbon, but they shipped it to the wrong address. After delivery, attempted five times to the wrong address, it was sent to the FedEx store after I tracked it down by the tracking number and had it sent there. At no time did Flaviar do anything to help. Then their customer service person decided to be a "smarty pants" with his attitude. Believe me, Caskers is a much better company to deal with.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Delivery comes on time, and as always, great taste. I found a great company that provides the type of spirits that are to my liking. I would challenge people who have a particular taste to try it!

Amazing
Great way to test out beverages with breaking the bank. Comes in a cool package, great for gifts. Bought for a relative as a thank you, they were super impressed and happy with it. I will be purchasing again for both myself and as a gift!

Great supplier
Not only did they have Talisker 10-year, which I have not been able to find in my area, but their site introduced me to so many more whiskeys. I may have to take out a second mortgage! LOL.

Great selection, value, and customer service
I run a spirits tasting social club and use Flaviar to source our tasting selections. They've got a good selection of bottles, and the tasting boxes help me to try things before I give it to the club. I recently had a shipment damaged by FedEx, and Flaviar quickly sent me out another replacement shipment that arrived well in time to host my tasting. Totally worth the membership. I've already made up the costs in their free shipping.

Great site
I’ve been a satisfied customer for two plus years. Flaviar is an excellent site to discover new and hard to find spirits. It is fairly priced and great service. I've not taken advantage of their club, but this looks intriguing.

Tasty tastings by Flaviar
Great concept and follow through. From the great tasting box selections to the specialty bottlings, everything is about the drink.
Customer service is excellent. I have only had one issue with a shipment over several years, and they promptly replaced the broken product.
I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys discovering new favorites, or just wants to learn more about what they drink.

Breckenridge Gin
After enjoying Breckenridge bourbon, for quite some time, I wanted to sample their gin. Unfortunately, it is not available in upstate New York (Albany) anywhere. So I was very excited to find it on Flaviar's website, and I ordered it immediately. Flaviar said that it would take 7-10 days to receive my order, but I received it in three. Great job there.
The gin is subtle yet very flavorful. It has become my new favorite. I highly recommend it to any person that enjoys gin as much as I do. And I REALLY enjoy gin!
