I've had Dermaplaning done at my salon on several different occasions and thought this would be a chance for me to do this myself even if it wasn't perfect. Turns out that after following directions perfectly and trying it 3 times...does not work. It's a ridiculous waste of money.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Doesn't work. I have tried it several times with no luck. I want to return the product for a full refund. I thought it looked very promising but was disappointed. Can you advise about a return?

Couldn't manually remove the battery cap. Had to pry it open with the edge of a letter opener. Then couldn't insert the battery until I had prodded the spring repeatedly to loosen it up. It took great effort to squeeze the battery in. Who knows what happens when the battery runs flat.
