I received my four boxes quickly and found the packaged date from the month before. We immediately took out two different meal packages to test for flavor and were pleasantly surprised by the taste. One bag fed four people adequately, with 5 cups of water added to hydrate. The meat TSP gave it a very good flavor and overall I am happy with the purchase, and they stack well without taking up the space that large cans do. Kept in a dark, dry & cool space, they should last a long, long, time.

This stuff is called God forbid, something happens to require me to use this food, I probably wont be as concerned with flavor as I will be with having a full stomach. Sure, taste is important but surviving the emergency is the big goal.

As far as price and convenience, this company supplies what it claims and is entertaining. You can find better prices and quality if you check the reviews so buy where you believe. I would recommend this product to a friend but I would advise shopping around too.

I received the 30 day supply within the time they stated. I tried one of the food packets (Cream Rice) and the taste was OK and it did fill me up. Hopefully we will never need it but I'm glad I have it in case.

I ordered a 3 month supply on a trial basis and received a 6 month supply accidentally. I called customer service and they were very nice. I could return it if I took it to the nearest Federal Express Office to "refuse shipment" on it.

This is somewhat inconvenient. Anyway, we decided to keep it due to so many situations in which we might need it. (Family of 5.) I'd recommend it, but as other reviewers have mentioned, they order from one company. I'd check out ordering from them.

Had bought a box of your food quite some time ago, never tried anything till just this week and it was a two cup sample package which I cooked (did add 1 teaspoon chick bouillon) and was greatly pleased with texture as well as flavor.

I have never had any problems getting my food supply, I have had good customer service also. They sent me a few packets to try and they tasted good. A lot of people are using this won't be up for long and this is going to get me in trouble and you need to prepare, before it's too late. That's how they get your money. Power for patriots I think is a scam. Build your own electrical energy that needs no outside source to run it. Then they scare you into trying to buy their e-book blue print. I got one free and it's not what it claims to be. I could build one, but it would be dangerous to have sitting out in the open. That stuff is just plain nonsense.

The wife and I ordered 5 units of the three month food supply, and they were delivered as expected. On opening one of the tubs filled with mylar packages of various food items, I immediately noticed the smell of an open package of noodle soup mix. How did the smell of foodstuffs get past the mylar?

I have concerns about longevity now. However, the products were all fairly tasty, but not for the soy intolerant people. They get their stuff from another company in the same business; I checked and found the prices identical s/o this looks like a decent deal.

I have some of these containers in my supply. These foods are freeze dried back packing type foods. I have over the past 6 years purchased a lot of these "emergency survival" foods. I also buy bulk rice, beans, spices, canned meats, soups, veggies, fruits, etc. to go with these freeze dried foods. The freeze dried meals tend to have a lot of sodium in them and my plan is to mix small amounts of them with the rice, beans and so on. This is emergency food stocks for a possible SHTF collapse or other major situation. When you're starving, you'll eat it all with pleasure. There are other companies offering organic gluten free foods out there so do some searching. Don't just buy prepared meals, buy supplies of freeze dried meats, veggies and fruits and be creative. Canned food will last a very long time if stored properly. Good Luck

I have ordered the product from Food 4 Patriots several times over the past couple of years. I have ordered the 72-hour pack , several 1-month packs, and the 3-month pack. I have not yet had an issue with any of the deliverables. I agree that the "sky is falling" marketing ploy is tiresome and the bait and switch technique used at their website is boring and a waste of time - I just end the browser window.

I have found that going through other access points has been much more convenient (i.e. preparewithbeck.com). I have found that the conspiracy theory crap is used by many vendors and it does get droll. I wish vendors would simply market to me as though I am an informed adult.

As for quality, I used one of the 1-week packs when I went to the Tetons last year. The food was pretty good. I cannot speak to the Customer Service people as I haven't had the need to use them.

I saw the TV commercial about the free 72-hour kit, just pay the shipping. I went for it. Yes, right after hitting confirm on the order page they send you the sales video with "Great Offers".

That's very annoying BUT, if you did sit for the 3-4 minute video, they did give a link to opt out of great offers and only send the free kit.

I got my kit in about 5days. So far I tried the Chicken Rice, not bad. I hope I don't need it, but it is in my "Oh Crap" closet.

I ordered the three-month supply, and it was delivered within ten days. Have only sampled one item (the Fettucine Alfredo), and it was delicious, and more than I could eat alone! I'm a fan of Mountain House and the cook-in pouches, but they generally don't provide as much food per pouch. I also like the totes they were sent in, they are sturdy, stackable, and are easy storage.

If the rest of the products stand up to the taste and serving amount as the Fettuccine Alfredo, I would definitely recommend this to everyone as an emergency option for food supply.

The taste of the food is good, but the food is expensive considering the serving size is only 1/4 cup. So I only have enough for one person instead of the family.

The few I've tried were good.

I have read other reviews asking for separate servings, so you don't have to use an entire package if not necessary. I have found that one can use a measuring cup (or a coffee cup) to get single portions. The packages are resealable, but any remaining portion should be used soon as exposure to air and humidity will degrade the quality.

I would suggest that a preparation method for high altitude be printed on the package.

I purchased this (for the most part) for hiking and camping, along with emergency preparation. This being said, I have tried very little of it, but was satisfied with the ones I did eat, and the service was great. First, know that I retired over 22 years ago, never been married and live alone about three miles from the closest city. Ever since I retired, I have been accumulating storable food and jugs of water.

Since getting involved with Food 4 Patriots, I have studied their instruction books, purchased many boxes of their non-perishable foods, and I bought their solar system, which is set up on my deck on the south side of the house.

Right now I have adequate supplies for any kind of disaster, and my special thanks to everyone at Food 4 Patriots.

Having ordered various special combo-packs as well as several three-month food kits, we've sampled most everything that has been offered. Preparation is easy, and the food is quite tasty. Though most of our stock is being held in reserve for times of disaster, our stock comes in handy when life gets really hectic, there's been no time to make a grocery run, and we need to fill in with something hearty and flavorful until we can get to the store. We do have to be cautious about not adding too much salt, but even the sodium levels are lower than comparable products offered by other companies.

I ordered on January 24th, 2018. I emailed them on February 8th (I believe it was). I got an answer the next day telling me the warehouse was behind because of so many orders. They also said it would be here on the 13th of February. Then I also got a shipping notice saying the 13th. So, we will see. It sounded like a reputable company. I'm hoping they are just behind.

I had a great experience. I do like that they had a way to choose what comes in your 72-hour kit as I have celiac and cannot eat meals that are made with wheat. However, a quick ingredient search on their site let me know which of these I can and can't have.

This will be my fourth time ordering. I actually tried the potato soup and it tasted fine. The fact that it has a high salt content does not bother me because if I am eating this food, I have a bigger problem than salt content!

Second, I purchased the water filters but have not tried them yet.

I have ordered this product two different times and have asked for some of their free products also. Why? Because I am looking for long storage food items that meet my needs including health, timing, and price.

1. Health are foods placed in the products that when I eat then make me sick. I do not know if the products have these items like soy or coconut until I get the food. These items are good for many people but bad for some.

2. Timing is how the product is cooked and not understanding the instructions on each bag. I learned how to read the instructions by trial and error. Sometimes the instructions are for cooking the whole bag, and other times it is for single servings. I did better cooking with the single cooking instructions.

3. Price is what I had to pay to get the product. I wish I could learn more about the ingredients that went into the bags before paying. Mind you, the price per single serving is very good but you have to buy a lot to get that price then are stuck with food you can't eat or eat it knowing you will get sick from it.

Last, the main reason I would not recommend this product is the confusing emails from two or more groups you would get which have different addresses, and different ingredients. I don't remember which group puts which ingredients in their products. If you do, this would be an excellent product for you.

Potato soup was really good. Not enough for a family of 4, 1/4 cup we need more for one feeding. Banana chips where good also. For me, I can't eat them, too hard for no teeth to chew.

Negative side: I have found that the alfredo, potato and other "creamy" recipes seem to have an after taste. I'm sure it would probably be unnoticeable in a true hunger emergency.

Positive side: Packaging is good, however, I would like possibly a "split bag" as sometimes the portions (cooking the whole bag) are more than needed for a 2-person meal. The other meals I've tried (Mango Chile, mac and cheese, vegetable soup, green beans, strawberries) are all very good. I'm looking forward to my next camping trip where I will try something else.

I have purchased Food 4 Patriots products on several occasions and have found the service to be very good. After reading reviews here, I’ve noticed a continuing theme. People aren’t being smart about their survival plans.

The food is emergency food and not meant to sustain one over the long haul. The kits provide about 1100 calories a day. People must have a long term plan. Don’t expect to live off these kits alone...that would not be smart. They are supplemental kits to a long term plan.

A survival plan is a multi-tiered plan...Food 4 Patriots is a good part of a plan, but not the entire answer. I have bought the food and seed vaults. Not all of their products are for everyone. Do your research and make smart purchases.

I have ordered several times from all THREE of the "Patriots" companies and was NEVER ripped off or scammed out of anything.

This is "SURVIVAL FOOD" people. It's just a little something to get you by until you can get to hunting or fishing or whatever you have to do to survive. This is not HEALTH food. It's high in calories and fat to fill you up when you're STARVING! Hello!
