Scary Results

By Ann, Boston, MA, Verified Reviewer

I used Genucel "for bags and puffiness" for one day. I applied it twice yesterday only underneath my eyes. Last evening my upper eyelids began to itch and this morning my upper eyelids are so swollen I can't even see my eyelashes.

My husband is horrified and took a photo of my eyes. I hope the swelling goes down soon as tomorrow is Thanksgiving and everyone's appetite will be ruined.

Company ethics, deceptive practices

By Nancy T, Richmond, VA, Verified Reviewer

My husband purchased this as a Christmas gift. The product is OK, but I found something that works better. He emailed their customer service (per their communication in the sales slip) to cancel the order, but they sent it anyway. When contacted, they claimed that the email was invalid and that they would not take the product back.

Poor product - no results as claimed

By Denise Scotti, Gatlinburg, TN, Verified Reviewer

The products that were sent to me had absolutely no affect as claimed. There were no signs of correcting the puffiness, and I used it for over one month and they kept charging my credit card. I finally canceled the order. They are using all the money that poor people fell for on advertising more and more.

It's a shame that even Shawn Hannity endorses this product and claims he uses it, now I have even less respect for him and what he advertises on his shows. Unfortunately I, like all these other people that have given this product a poor rating, will have less respect for any products or claims, just another money making gimmick!

Genucel doesn't work

By Linda D., Silver Grove, KY, Verified Reviewer

I bought a set of Genucel on eBay. The kit includes the instant eye treatment, the stem cell eyes treatment, and the neck treatment. The instant never has worked. Anyway, I have been using the treatments for three weeks now twice a day. I thought that if I used it, it might eventually get rid of the bags under my eyes, which are not severe but, they are there. Absolutely nothing, NOTHING has happened. I bought it on eBay as it was only $ 49.00. I'd be really sick if I had spent over a hundred!

Read the fine print

By Steven M., Colorado, Verified Reviewer

I thought I was taking advantage of a one-time holiday special advertised on the radio. And ordered a package special for $164.00.

Low and behold...two months later my credit card was charged another $164.00 for a box of little tubes and jars of creams that are supposed to make you look younger.

Save your money. If you do order this stuff, don't forget to cancel in a week or you'll keep paying.

It's a scam

By Jacque S., Henderson, NV, Verified Reviewer

Try to cancel your order. You can't. They just keep sending more and more product. When you try to cancel, they have to call you back and then they don't. Save your money. The product stinks.

This product is Junk

By Donald DIlks , Juno Beach

The produce is not only junk but they put you on a reorder program and refuse to credit for the second shipment. This is a scam.

Doesn't work for me

By Clair , Santa Ana, CA

I have a strict skin care regime both at day and night. I do not mind paying more for quality but Jim is right, this is a scam. I used the Esotique-RF and the neck cream as directed but they do not work! Chamonix will not refund you unless you meet their very narrow criteria. It is not worth the money wasted. I now use Lancome and Clarisonic products which are way safer.

Beware of subscription

By Joseph R., Tallahassee, FL, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the product once and was considering doing it again when suddenly they took money out of my bank account. They would not give me my money back and said it was part of a subscription.

Another scammer company

By Ron S., North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

I heard about the products on Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham and Rush Limbaugh. All reputable TV and radio personalities. I purchased some of their products and of course checked the box that makes you agree to the terms and conditions of the sale. They won't sell it to you unless you agree. When you agree to the terms they ship. Then 60 days later they ship you another order. My wife does like the product so when I found out about another shipment being on its way I tried to cancel it and was told it's too late. The only credit you can get back is a merchandise credit for products you don't want. This is a scammer company.

Still suffering the backlash from ordering this product!

By Katie , Chattanooga, TN

I bought this product and tried it for the guaranteed 30 days, and saw zero benefit. when I called to get a return, the saleswoman said that the commercials were just a little too optimistic about how long it actually takes (the claim was that you would see slight improvement within 12 hours, and definite results by 30 days), but assured me it worked well if given a little more time, and talked me into extending the guarantee for two more weeks.

At the end of the two weeks, when I still saw no improvement, they conceded defeat and returned my money. But much to my incredulity, I began getting endless telemarketing calls trying to sell it as well as other products to me again! I told several of their reps that considering I didn't get any benefit from it the first time that I had no interest in a second try! They each promised to take me off their call list, yet I'm still getting calls from them.
