NOT WORTH IT

By Diane M., Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I have three of these pans and they worked well for a while, no sticking and easy to clean. Not anymore. The middle pan was scratched with a dull dinner knife and everything, especially scrambled eggs, even with a little butter added really stick and the pan is almost impossible to clean. I wouldn't purchase another product such as this as apparently the lifetime warranty doesn't hold up.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Sticking

By Bob S., New York, Verified Reviewer

After about a year my pans started sticking and my stew pot flaked. Very disappointed in Gotham Steel. I never cook with a high heat so this problem should never had happened. Also, I only use hot water and a sponge to clean.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Easy to clean stuck-on foods

By Joseph A., Flushing, NY, Verified Reviewer

Most foods stick without the use of oil or butter. Eggs stick so bad that they are often destroyed when trying them loose from the pan, even when butter is used. Commercial TV video is a fairy tale. There are much better fry pans on the market in this price range.

Not what they seem

By Pamela W., Kentucky, Verified Reviewer

Bought the set thinking I was getting a quality product, boy was I wrong. Eggs stick even using a cooking spray, which it says you don't need, surface scratches the same as cheaper brands. Very overpriced. Paying for the name, would not recommend to anyone.

Disappointed

By Robert M., Michigan, Verified Reviewer

The first time I used it I made an omelet. The egg stuck to the pan and I ended up throwing away the eggs.

The second time I used it I sprayed Pam on it and it didn't stick.

Nothing special about this pan.

Length of Use: Less than 3 months

The pan had to be sprayed with Pam

Not a very good product

By Bob O., Macon, GA, Verified Reviewer

I purchased the large fry pan, egg pan, and saucepan with glass lids for the large pan and the saucepan. I spent just under $60. These pans were marketed as non-stick, dishwasher/oven safe, and tolerant of metal utensils. Not so. They have never been in the dishwasher, only hand washed. After the second month, the finish on the large pan began scratching from flipping eggs and bacon, and began further deterioration from scrubbing stuck-on food afterward. After cooking pancakes just once, it was all over. Would never do it again, or recommend to anyone else.

Length of Use: 3–6 months

Not as advertised

By Caron M., Fort Lauderdale, FL, Verified Reviewer

I’ve had my pan for a while now and at first, it was great. Nothing stuck to it. I just made eggs in it and they completely stuck and were so hard to clean off. Don’t say non-stick if it isn’t!

Length of Use: 3–6 months

Just kidding about non-stick

By John A., Las Vegas, NV, Verified Reviewer

To prevent sticking you must use butter, cooking oil, or spray. It got two stars only because some items came out okay. However, used it to cook egg whites and got a horrible mess. Almost impossible to wash even with extensive soaking.

Everything sticks

By Geoff M., Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

Eggs certainly do not come out of the pans like they do in the company video. Very disappointed in this product and the hype behind it.

Small pot

Used a mixer in the pot and it scratched the bottom. Told me to send a picture and I did. Said they would replace it and haven't heard anything.

Frying pan

By Steven E., North Canton, OH, Verified Reviewer

I have a 10-inch and 12-inch frying pan. Both did not last 3 months. The first time used there were several small dents and the food stuck to it. The pan did not keep the food from sticking to the pan. They also do not do good in the dishwasher.

Length of Use: 3–6 months

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
