I was dubious. I am historically not a fan of supplements. I always felt like if one ate well, they were a waste of money. However, I have been surprised at the total erasure of my recent onset of GERD symptoms due to weight gain and slowing metabolism.
As I put weight on for the first time in my life, I was battling heartburn and constant pangs of hunger. I was binge eating, carbs mostly - not like me!
With the Total Restore, both annoying issues have disappeared. I often feel satisfied with less food, am frequently not hungry at all and have no heartburn. Gone. I’m a bit shocked!
I have been following the "Gundry pyramid," which I downloaded onto my phone and find pretty easy. I’ve begun exercising again, easing my way into a different way of eating as now finding more energy for exercise.
Being an Orthopedic nurse practitioner for many years, I certainly knew what to do, but I simply did not feel like I had the energy to get things moving. That sounds like a copout, but that was the case.
So…wish me luck - small changes seem to be winning the day. I definitely will continue utilizing Dr. Gundry’s advice and supplements and would recommend that others give it a try for their own health! Nothing to lose.
