Clothes are trash & customer service sucks.

By Ivy, Texas, Verified Reviewer

In my one month trial I never got a single garment that I wanted. I had to add a lot of crap that I didn't want to my closet just to get them to sent me something. Everything I got was cheaply and poorly made. Half the time my stuff was delayed.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Just Crap

By Sarah J Bojorquez, Cincinnati, OH, Verified Reviewer

1. Clothes are crap - they are cheaply made and don't run true to any size.

2. Good luck canceling, It isn't going to happen. Canceled this, returned the clothes and over 6 months later out of the blue I am charged $180? Tried to call customer service 5 times to talk with someone, and of course no answer (spent 45 minutes on hold today!). So I disputed the charge with my credit card company and they billed me again. RUN away from this. Zero ethics.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Worn Out Clothes, Over-Priced

By Phyllis Simpson , Barnegat, NJ

I tried Gwynnie Bee for about six months. I had the three garment option. I found that the clothes were either poor quality or worn out. I would say the quality of the clothes is on par with what you would find at Target. I think it's cheaper to spend $80 on three garments from Target every month. It's nearly impossible to get clothes that fit the season. You add clothes in your virtual closet and they send you what is available out of that list. Clothes were usually faded or had extensive pilling. They do make exchanging clothes easy by sending you pre addressed packaging. You indicate in your account that clothes are on their way back, and they send you more items from your list. If you like something that they give you and would like to keep it, you can purchase it, but you are basically buying used clothes at a new clothes price. I did have a problem with them trying to charge me for a shirt I had returned when I canceled my subscription. It took about two months to straighten out, but finally, they got it right.

Bottom line, it's a novel concept and is easy, but they really have to have better quality clothes, more quantity, and they need to stop re-circulating garments once they get too worn. Not worth the money.

Unlimited Closet = Dream Come True!

By Ashly P., Wheat Ridge, CO, Verified Reviewer

I signed up for Gwynnie Bee when I received a promotion at work, and needed to have a more professional wardrobe. I knew I couldn't afford to buy a bunch of new clothes, and I didn't want to be stuck wearing the same thing every week. Gwynnie Bee was the PERFECT solution!

I have been a member for a little over four months, and I have gotten to wear something "new" to work at my new job every day! I get compliments every single day, and I love sharing that I am a Gwynnie Bee member!

I receive four items at a time, and it's the perfect amount for the work week! It's a great way to supplement my wardrobe and to feel like a million bucks every day!

The clothes are always clean, and arrive in great condition. I usually receive a great variety of colors and styles, (there was one shipment that had all blue items) and the clothes are usually seasonally appropriate!

There are some people in the office that think I'm doing this because I can't afford to buy new clothes and keep telling me to go to Ross, or T.J. Maxx, but I'm a GB member because I truly get an unlimited wardrobe of amazing clothes! The best part about it is that I can wear something super-trendy, and not have to worry about it hanging in my real closet after it's no longer in style! (I have so many dresses that I bought for a special occasion that I've only worn once, and they just hang in my closet because I won't get rid of them after what I paid!)

A lady at work inquired if I had a "super rich boyfriend" who buys me nice clothes all the time, since she's never seen me in the same thing twice! Nope I'm a Gwynnie Bee member and I love it!

Pleased with Gwynnie Bee

By Gayle Crabtree , Knoxville, TN

This is my second month with the Gwynnie Bee one item subscription. So far, the boxes have all come on time and the quality has been good. I need dress tops for work, but my size keeps changing through dieting and I cannot afford to buy new cloths every month. The subscription has been my solution. The style selection is a little limiting, but the clothes have been in good quality.

Getting clothing that is out of season hasn't been an issue. I took everything out of my closet that was for summer and replaced them with fall items. My third month begins in a few days. My experiences have been positive so far and haven't had to contact customer service for anything.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Scam and rip off.

By Elizabeth Grilley , Las Vegas, NV

Does not matter how many times you call Lisa (she can't do anything - she is sweet but her hands are tied). The Wolf is Crystal. Watch out folks. This is one of the best rackets I have come across in years. They do not send the right sizes, they send winter clothes in summer and vice versa. If you cancel the service they still continue to bill you. Just when you think you have gotten rid of the Bee they come back and put a massive charge on your credit card.

Okay so I disputed it with my bank and they removed it and issued me a new card. Somehow Gwynnie charged my account another $680.52 again.

Now this is after I have canceled the service that they changed my card. And if that is not enough, they started with the monthly service again. This company should not be called Gwynnie Bee but Gwynnie Roach. You simply can not get rid of them.

Do yourself and your bank account a favor and shop anywhere else. In my honest opinion, they are the worst retailer on Planet Earth.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
