Disappointed!

I have been using my 9-laser hair comb since September 1, 2018. Three times a week for the prescribed 11-12 minutes each session for 14 months, faithfully. And I am sorry to say that I have lost an additional (approximately) 40-50% of my hair. I have half the amount of hair I had last year before I started using this device. I am NOT saying this device made me lose my hair, but I AM saying this device did nothing to help me retain or regrow ANY NEW hair. I had big hopes, even though my dermatologist did tell me it probably would not work before I started last year. For those individuals that claim this device works, good for you! For me, big disappointment.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I am 65, have great skin, but my hair was getting so thin I felt like I was going to have to start wearing a hairpiece to feel confident again. I tried hair shampoo treatment products, some of which stopped my hair from falling out, but didn’t see the regrowth I wanted. I purchased the HairMax handheld brush last July, hoping that this purchase wasn’t going to be a waste of time and money like so many things that I have bought. Well, let me tell you - I am thrilled with the results! I have before and after pictures, the latest of which was taken last week. I was absolutely shocked when I compared the pictures. I knew my hair was fuller, but didn’t realize how well it had grown back in.

I use the brush twice a week, but honestly, I am certainly not perfectly on schedule by any means. The product was easy to use, and took about 5 minutes or so to use. My problem was remembering to use it! Had I used it religiously, it wouldn’t have taken me so long to write this review. I would forget about it for a week, two weeks, sometimes longer, and would be reminded when my hair started falling out again.

I will use this brush until it wears out, and plan to upgrade to the cap at that time.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Followed directions exactly and consistently, but thinning at frontal hairline continued, if not gotten worse.

Chat with company rep ended with “try a dermatologist who specializes in hair loss”. Other contact said "Sorry, you are in a group of only 7% who report no growth."

Fortunately, I didn’t spend $1000+ on this device.
