When I decided to sell some land, I looked for a realtor in a web search and came up with an enormous list of companies and people that I would have to research myself. I sent some emails out, asking if they could help me sale my land. I got a bunch of emails and phone messages back. I felt like I had a huge task of trying to find the right person to help me with the task. I just didn’t have the time to do research on a bunch of different people. I came across HomeLight quickly filled out my information. It seemed like just hours went by and I got an email from Christopher from HomeLight. He had several people who were very qualified to help me sell the land. I contacted one of the realtors and they helped me right away. They put 110% into helping me sell my property. I rarely use any sort of referral services on the internet. For the most part, you don't know who is paid paying for them or if you will receive anything of high quality. HomeLight put me in touch with several realtors in my area. All of the realtors they suggested I connected with were very professional and provided what they thought the best strategy would be to sell my home.

Ultimately, I settled on going with Josh from the Pomerleau Team. It turned out to be a great choice and they were with me every step of the way. If it wasn't for HomeLight I would still probably be interviewing realtors.

They really helped me narrow down the choices to people that were clearly able to deliver. It saved me a lot of time interviewing and put me in touch with people that had good marketing strategies for MY area. They all told me what I needed to hear, not what I wanted to hear such as, we call to sell your home for more money or in seven days or less. The realtors they recommended had very realistic timeframes and pricing strategy. My house sold within about 1% of what my agent said we should list it for. I would highly recommend HomeLight to anyone to help take some of the guesswork out of their realtor search.

The information I input to HomeLight suggested there were several realtors in my area and Steve Forsythe was the top match. HomeLight's information regarding Steve was accurate, and I was able to validate what was provided when I had my first call with Steve. He responded within 30 minutes, as advertised, and spent at least 30 minutes talking to me on that first call.

Steve took the time to listen to what I needed and did not pressure me to immediately sign a contract.

I can honestly say that at the beginning of this process I was skeptical of using an online service to help me sell my property. The property was a rural property with acreage, and I was not sure we would be able to find an agent. Much to my surprise, HomeLight put me in touch with Amy Marinello.

Not being from the area, we had to find someone locally to help sell the family home. I actually had not heard of HomeLight before, but I found them through a Google search. Within minutes of putting in a request, I heard from the HomeLight representative (Paul), and within a half hour, I was contacted by two local realtors. We met with both and chose the first realtor who met with us. While we had been dreading the ordeal of selling the home, it ended up going under contract within a week of listing it, after receiving multiple offers.
