Ashley from ReMax was an excellent agent that made the buying process as smooth as can be for me and my wife. As we began the process of listing our home, I contacted HomeLight to see what services they offer in helping us. I was pleasantly surprised to receive at least three agents for consideration, complete with qualifying information. I spoke to four agents in total and interviewed two, including Gregg Tepper, who was the HomeLight top recommendation. Gregg came well prepared with comparable sales of homes in the area and what turned out to be a very accurate estimate of the home's value. He toured the house and suggested several improvements, one of which was not readily apparent to me. The house sold within ten days of the listing going live and closed in six weeks total.

Some people may not be aware of HomeLight or feel they are experienced enough to select an agent without advice. To both those and the less experienced I recommend contacting HomeLight. It was well worth it to me, and I am one of those "experienced" people.

We first contacted EXIT Reality after their excellent recommendation by HomeLight. We wanted someone with a proven track record and EXIT had a "Best of the Best" rating as well. We spoke with Rachelle Peake and agreed that she was the one for us. She asked us to tell her everything we were looking for and how much we wanted to spend. She assured us that she would be able to find what we were looking for. Being out of state we had to have faith that Rachelle would find us the perfect home, and she did exactly that. When we met with Rachelle a few weeks later, she showed us three homes and we actually fell in love with two of them. After looking online at about 100 more homes over the next 2 months, we realized that one of those two was actually the one we wanted and we were glad it was still available. Rachelle took care of all the details after that, from start to finish and made this as easy as it could be. She did a great job and we highly recommend her.

I was very happy with my HomeLight experience. Within an hour of my request, I received 4-5 responses from brokers. I met with 2 of them and chose Berkshire Hathaway. My realtor was responsive and thorough, and we had more than 10 showings. Using HomeLight saved me the hassle of trying to find a broker in the area. The property we sold was a second home, and I was not at all familiar with any local realtors.
