HomeLight was very easy to use. I received calls and emails from local realtors right after filling out the form. They were all so helpful at such a difficult time. I was not local as we were selling my parents house after my Dad’s passing.

I would recommend HomeLight, especially if you are trying to sell a property out of state as it was helpful in locating a good local realtor.

I originally went online to determine the merits of either going through a realtor or accepting a cash offer without a realtor. I was already recommended two realtors through friends. I came across the HomeLight site and figured it wouldn't hurt to submit my contact information. True to their claim of connecting me with "up to 3" realtors, I was contacted by text by 3 realtors. I decided to interview the 2 realtors that were recommended through friends and 2 of the 3 that HomeLight put me in contact with. All 4 realtors were knowledgeable, but the 2 that HomeLight recommended seemed to know the local market better. However, since the recommended selling price was so widespread, I did my own analysis and decided on what a fair amount would be for net proceeds. I then contacted HomeLight again and asked them to get me in contact with Cash Buyers. The first buyer texted me a super low-ball offer and I discussed my disappointment with the offer with HomeLight. They said they would try to find another Cash Buyer and have them contact me. A little while later, I got a call from "Nathan" and he asked if someone could come by and review the house. His fellow employee came by a little later and explained what the terms of the offer would be, reviewed the house, and he said I would get an offer within two hours. Sure enough, I got an offer from them and eventually sold the house through a 14-day escrow with no contingencies. I was hesitant when I first entered my contact information into the HomeLight site, but am now very glad that I did it. They really made the sales of the home very easy by putting me in contact with the right people. And, as a side note, I was able to directly reach a live human the two times I called.

Thank you, I was very pleased with the HomeLight service they offered through Opendoor. I was able to sell my house with the ease of knowing it was only for interested buyers, didn't have the unnecessary showings at all and of course having no flippers of homes involved. The fees that Opendoor charges are very similar to what a Traditional Real Estate Agent would charge. I needed to sell it quickly so it was very convenient, including efficient with the paperwork and home assessment team they provided. The entire process was smooth, quick and easy in selling my home, including the closing!

HomeLight is a great tool if you want to meet as many professionals in the realty business as possible. However, be warned, you will be inundated with phone calls for days once you click "Submit". In fact, I received the first phone call before the website refreshed. I wasn’t prepared for that and I prefer to have information provided in writing, not by phone so I felt that I wasn’t provided the best service because the phone just rang off the hook. Buying and selling my homes was the most stressful experience I had ever experienced because of the aggressiveness of the pros. I am not a confrontational person, unless you really get my goat, but I was tempted to go into foreclosure than have to deal with unending calls, texts, and emails. I haven’t even finished selling my old home and I’m dreading the settlement.

Extremely pleased that HomeLight gave us outstanding recommendations on realtors! We were very concerned that selling our house would be difficult due to timing and high taxes on the property. However, we interviewed several great candidates at the recommendation of HomeLight and it was a tough call since many were well qualified. When we made our decision, we couldn’t have been happier! Our realtor, Lori Rogers from the David Batty Group, was amazing! She truly cared every step of the way, provided many great resources. It may have been impossible to find Lori without the help of HomeLight. Highly recommend this service to ANYONE who is thinking of either buying or selling!

I was having trouble selling my duplex. I tried many local realtors that I thought had great advertisement. I trusted these realtors had my best interest in mind but in the end, they did not. I saw a commercial on TV for HomeLight and decided to give it a try.

They gave me a list of highly recommended realtors in my area and matched me with Doug. He worked diligently and fulfilled my needs as a seller. He sold my property when others could not.

I was skeptical at first because it seemed too good to be true, but HomeLight made the process of finding my awesome realtor so easy! They did all the heavy research work and had the best selection of realtors ready for me. HomeLight made the process of evaluating and selecting a great realtor for us painless. Although both realtors they put us in contact with were helpful, the one we eventually went with really tried to understand our needs and matched up with us very well. I’m not sure I would have been able to select a better realtor had it not been for HomeLight guiding the way.
