In May 2017, my husband and I decided to sell our Summer vacation townhouse in beautiful Sapphire Valley, North Carolina. We began with a web search for real estate agents in that area.

The agents called me immediately, and after initial contacts, my husband and I set appointments with three of those recommended by HomeLight.com.

They provided us with an honest appraisal, and a well-organized and aggressive plan to market and sell our property. I am happy to report that by September 15th our townhouse was sold and the check was in the bank!

We own an investment property just outside of Culpeper, Virginia. After the tenants left and the renovation work was complete, the next step was to find a realtor. I have to say we were very concerned about getting the house on the market so late in the calendar year, not to mention finding a qualified, successful realtor to market the property.

We heard about a referral service called HomeLight. They refer up to three of the most successful realtors (based on sales) where your property is located. We liked what we read about HomeLight, so I inquired about their services from their website.

Within hours, three realtors contacted me offering their services. I started with two of them; asking questions about their experience and sales success in our area. We agreed to "walk" the property to determine how they would market the property. Both realtors were very engaging and very successful in their own real estate careers. After the presentations were completed, we chose Amy Cherry Taylor.

This may sound rather incredible, but within eight days, we were under contract! She advised on a selling price and aggressively marketed the property. There were six, maybe eight showings, and then we received a signed contract. We were pleased that the contract reflected a price that was 96% of the listing price. Since Ms. Taylor brought a qualified buyer already approved for a mortgage to the table, we settled on the property 30 days later.

We were amazed and impressed that the transaction went so quickly but more importantly, went so smoothly. The next time I consider selling residential real estate, my first inquiry will be to HomeLight. Without HomeLight, I never would have found our realtor. They were outstanding and won't disappoint you.
