We requested the best realtors in our area from HomeLight. HomeLight responded immediately with three realtors in a matter of minutes. Much to our surprise, the first realtor HomeLight suggested contacted us for an introductory meeting almost immediately. HomeLight, a realtor referral service provided us with top realtors in our chosen area when we were attempting to sell our summer home in North Carolina. The referred us to three top contenders, and we chose who best matched us. The realty team was efficient, proactive, and provided wonderful pictures for the MLS online, which definitely attracted buyers. We were able to sell our home and receive the benefits of the sale in North Carolina while we lived in Florida. I came across HomeLight.com website while searching for real estate agents when we decided it was time to sell our home. After signing up, I kind of forgot about the site. Several local agents had been marketing to us, and I invited them to come for interviews. One of the agents did not reply (on honeymoon!), so I remembered the website and requested contacts for agents.

HomeLight referred two "heavy hitters" to me, one which was ranked in the top 10% for his firm in our market (Charlotte, NC) and one that was ranked in the top 10% for his firm nationally! These two far exceeded everyone else we interviewed, except for one, who was the nearest geographically but didn't sell our size of home and was at least 10% below our target price range.

We selected Brian Belcher, the agent that was ranked nationally. While everyone emphasized marketing and social media his sample photography and virtual tours were very impressive, and his experience gave us confidence.

Things moved VERY quickly and Brian and his team were supportive. The photographers and 360-degree videographers were outstanding, making our house look super.

Our neighborhood market was "hot," but our house was very unique and did not have many comps to give it the value we thought it deserved. Brian selected a price point at our first meeting and stood by it. When we put it on the market, we had 16 showings and six offers between 8:00 am Saturday and 5:00 pm Sunday. Having an experienced agent guide us through the decisions made a huge difference. We ended up getting above asking price.

The couple that purchased the home was remote, did so based on the media only. Seeing the house the following weekend, a testament to the excellent marketing.
