I used the HomeLight referral service to identify three top realtors in my home’s area. Two of the three were excellent candidates, the third was determined to not be a fit following a short phone interview. I selected Carl Medford because he uses a team approach, delegating the many tasks to team members best qualified and trained. This approach allowed Carl to be responsive to me while he continues to be the largest volume agent in the area. I also appreciate that his wife, Sheryl, provides design and staging service to help me get the best offer possible. Lastly, Carl donates some of his commission to a list of deserving local charities, allowing me to select the recipient.

Of the five recommended realtors, only one responded. He was great, but the other HomeLight realtors never reached out.

I found the site via a Google search and, after reading articles on its impact on home sales, knew I had to use this free service. By the end of the day, I had received phone calls from three realtors. Just a few days later I had interviewed each realtor at my home and made my choice. As a result, my home sold for much more than anticipated and in only one day on the market. I highly recommend HomeLight to anyone about to put their home on the market; it couldn’t be any easier.

I heard about HomeLight on a television ad. I needed to sell my house, but hadn't used a realtor in over 20 years! Choosing a realtor was going to be a daunting task. I have had bad experiences in the past and was not looking forward to a real estate transaction again. I contacted HomeLight and they sent me referrals for the top 5 realtors in my area! Each of these realtors called and made appointments to meet with me, look at my house, and make recommendations and offer a marketing plan. Each realtor brought unique skills. It was difficult to choose! HomeLight followed up after each contact. They provided me with facts about days on market, price reductions, final sales prices and much more. I felt empowered to make an informed choice. As a result, my house was under contract within two weeks, and it was not listed at a good time for sales: summer had ended, and school had started! I would definitely use HomeLight again should I have a real estate sale anywhere else.

As an added bonus, there aren't any pesky ads and sales pitches for other things...just good professional service to help you choose the best realtor to suit your needs.

HomeLight introduced Mr. Todd Jones to me. Mr. Jones called me very soon, was able to meet me same morning. Had the photographer next morning after all painting etc was done! Had pictures ready the same day, in MLS the same night. He also did several open houses varying from Tuesday, Sat, and Sunday.

Handed all the way through, the situation went very well. He is very honest and hardworking and professional.

HomeLight was an excellent resource to quickly find our real estate agent. I have purchased and sold homes in the past and typically had relied on names I had known, but I decided to make a search on HomeLight this time around. I was very impressed with the analytics making this a much more modern approach than looking at pictures and poorly designed websites.

I interviewed a few different agents over the phone and it was pretty easy to determine the right fit. Our selected realtor was excellent and did a fantastic job both from getting our home marketed and closed, but also helping find other needed service providers.

I would use HomeLight again in the future.

I had a couple of bad experiences with realtors when my husband and I were looking for a home to purchase. So, we started looking on our own, but could not access all the data needed to see homes for sale. So, I went on Google and typed in "top realtors in Janesville" and HomeLight came up. I went on the website and typed in my particular information, which was very easy, and it gave me a list of 4 realtors. The nice thing about HomeLight is it shows you credibility and knowledge of an area. Also, another thing about HomeLight is it does not charge a fee for helping you get the right agent to either buy or sell your property. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking to purchase/sell their property. Keep up the good work!

Our home sales process was pretty smooth. We looked for realtors in our area using HomeLight that could work with us being 1.5 hours away from the property.

The realtor HomeLight suggested to us was professional and efficient. He assisted us with staging the home for sale and handled everything professionally. I'm considering selling my place, and so I thought let's see what they have to offer and who. Well, first, only one of the agents sold properties primarily in my area. They included sales from Phoenix, Scottsdale, Chandler, and other areas of the valley. This is not helpful as my place is in the far north valley, and a different from the other areas listed. However, I figured I'd at least do a little more research on the people listed via their professional websites, as the snippets were vague and essentially sales spam, but OK, I figure no problem. What really got me, was the fact I shared I wasn't thinking about listing it for 3-6 months, which was on their form, and within 2 hours I received a sales call, asking for more details on my property! Are you kidding me? So, this could be good but for me, not so much, especially when the agents listed I didn't think fit the profile of what I wanted. This is certainly not a service I will use.

We found HomeLight on the internet, which was a tremendous help in selecting our realtor. HomeLight matches you with local realtors and allows you to view their profiles to help narrow your decision. HomeLight followed up to ensure we felt the matches sent were working out and the right fit for our needs. It's a great service for first-time homebuyers who have no clue how the home buying process goes. Definitely would recommend to others in need of a realtor.
