Like many people, we weren’t sure who to choose with so many realtors in the Dallas area. We turned to HomeLight after listening to one of their commercials.

We couldn’t be more pleased. Based on their recommendation we chose Colleen Frost to be our realtor. Colleen and her team did an outstanding job. The listing went live on a Friday, and we had an offer in three days.

Her staff is professional and well organized. They kept us informed throughout the entire process. In our case, this was especially helpful as the buyer’s underwriter was extremely slow at arriving at the "clear to close" point.

The first thing that I was really impressed with was how easy the sign up was on the internet. I had a few questions and spoke to a representative. The representative explained the service to me and also answered my questions which included if there was any fee involved, etc. I then proceeded with the process and within hours I was contacted by three agents. The service was very timely for sellers who want to move quickly. I spoke to the agents on the phone and also had the ones that I wanted to meet in person come to the home.

I loved that there wasn't any pressure to choose an agent or any high sales pitch just "this is what I offer, and I hope you choose me."

Once I met with the agent that I wanted, with Anne Rains group, she immediately followed up with me with an email and a phone call. I like the service because the agents know that we are meeting other agents, so there is no immediate commitment.

I felt that by using the program, agents that are suggested are committed to a higher level of customer service.

We listed our home with an RE/MAX agent in March of 2017. After 10 months and only about six showings, we decided to find another agent. We contacted HomeLight online and they suggested Linda in ERA agency in Charlestown, West Virginia. We made an appointment and interviewed with Cheryl Yates, one of her agents. She went over her entire approach, including an aggressive marketing plan, something RE/MAX didn't do. We signed a contract with her and in the first month we had six showings and sold our house in two more months. We are VERY pleased that we looked into HomeLight and the agency they recommended.

I could have chosen a good realtor on my own but went with the realtor referred by HomeLight. By all the reviews and reading the website, I was under the assumption the service was free for me to use. I was already considering Berkshire Hathaway as the broker firm. She was a good match for me and sold my home within a week for a good price (home was apprasied only $32 more than the offered price). When it came to the day of closing the title company including a $2026.72 referral fee to HomeLight Inc., which was deducted from my selling price. Even though I had a good experience in selling my home, I was misled. At no time was I told I'd be paying for HomeLight's referral.

The same day I contacted HomeLight I received a call to discuss my needs and expectations. I was told that I would be contacted shortly by three agents. All three called the same day, and I spent about 15-20 minutes talking with each of them. By the time the third agent called I knew I was facing a problem I had never faced before - which of these three engaging and accomplished agents would I choose to sell my home? I felt like a judge on a cooking show after tasting three delicious dishes!

In the end, the circumstances led me to choose the third agent. Not only was he friendly and knowledgeable, he had buyers ready to go for a home like mine. It was the easiest home sale I've ever had.

The HomeLight experience was so easy. We answered some questions and had an immediate reply. Then within one hour, we had an email with recommended agents in our area. The nice thing was they gave us several agents to choose from and said if we wanted some more choices they could do that. The agents they recommended were very professional and responded to our phone calls within a timely matter.
