First order

By Whitney Herrmann, New Orleans, LA, Verified Reviewer

I like the price, but I go through contacts more. I find a defective one out of three. I am constantly opening up a new one. I also find that the glue on the package is not that great and I had a few that were opened with no liquid in it.

Not sure how much longer I will keep it if this continues.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Very dry and scratchy

By Amanda Hike, Ohio, Verified Reviewer

I have been using Hubble Contacts for three to four months now. As for using Hubble Contacts, I was using focus daily contacts, and there is no comparison. Where Hubble Contacts are cheaper, they are definitely not as good quality as Focus Daily contacts. I have struggled this last month with switching back because of the price, but I cannot stand the pain anymore of the very dry contacts scratching my eyes. I never had this problem with Focus Dailies even late at night, but even as early as ten in the morning, I find Hubble Contacts are already dried out.

Sorry Hubble, but I can no longer continue to be a faithful customer until your quality changes.

Not comparable

By Hilary, Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I got the free trial to test out the lenses. I was thinking of transitioning from monthly to daily lenses, so I trying two different types of dailies, Hubble and CooperVision. There is a huge difference. Hubble feels a lot flimsier, thinner and cheaper. They're a bit harder to put in also, and I feel them in my eyes afterward. The price isn't big enough of a difference for me to want to subscribe further.

Cheap but with quality issues

By S Thomas, Lexington, KY, Verified Reviewer

I am on my second full month of Hubble Contacts and yes they are cheaper and just as comfortable as the Acuvue lenses (they do not offer the define though). So far I have had three bad lenses right out of the pack; two were completely dry and one was torn.

I did reach out to Hubble customer service each time and was told to send pictures, order number and such. After what I thought was an adequate time before receiving a response (about two weeks), beyond the automatic email that they received my request for help, I was told by Jeff that "they would look into it." There was no talk from them to "make it right," I just felt from them the old saying, "too bad, too sad."

If these types of quality issues continue, the value that Hubble presents will diminish. If their quality improves I would recommend, but as of right now, no, I do not recommend.

You get what you pay for

By Sandra Watson, Ontario, Canada, Verified Reviewer

It started off great, but then I realized how dry my eyes were. They became uncomfortable almost immediately and every time. They have a tendency to easily flip inside out, making it very hard to see which way is the right way.

Not worth risking my eyes for.

Not worth the headache

By Rhi, Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada, Verified Reviewer

Not a bad start, they came quickly (four days I think), but once the holiday season came around things fell apart. I definitely give some slack to business around that time, but three weeks after my money was taken is a bit too late for me.

Once they arrived, my next subscription date was already taking money out of my bank account, money that I desperately needed. No worries, I just have to wait another three weeks until they arrive, return them to the sender (which will probably take its time), and then I get my refund.

Save yourself the trouble and complications and just pay the extra $25 a month for the other brand.

Low quality

By Alix Heger, Cincinnati, OH, Verified Reviewer

You get what you pay for. I ordered Hubble Contacts to save money, but the quality was terrible. They dry out very quickly, and I had halos when I would drive at night or early in the morning. After my two week trial, I was auto shipped a full month, so I sent them back for a refund, and after several months now I still haven’t received my refund. And their customer service is terrible.

Eye infection

By Stephanie Davidson, Houston, TX, Verified Reviewer

I have been wearing contacts for roughly 15 years. As we all know it is quite an expensive upkeep. I tried Hubble Contacts about 6 months ago to cut down on the expense. They were comfortable and felt great at first. In the last month or two, my eyes have been really irritated. I went to the eye doctor today and discovered I have an eye infection. I’ve never had an eye infection in all of my 15 years of wearing contacts. The first thing my doctor said to me after discovering this was “Please tell me you’re not using Hubble contacts." I won’t be purchasing those anymore.

Nope

By Susan Clem, Alabama, Verified Reviewer

After one week of wearing Hubble Contacts I was still pleasantly surprised and how comfy they were. After the two-week mark, I can no longer wear them for more than six hours without total discomfort. My eyes are really dry with the lenses in and rewetting solution offers no relief. I end up having to change into my glasses halfway through the day. I've never experienced this with any other lense.

They keep coming, whether you want them or not.

By Jim W Breaugh, Milford, MI, Verified Reviewer

I tried a box of Hubble Contacts and they were ok. I didn't find them as comfortable as my current brand, but they were fine. I placed one order to try them but then had LOTS of contacts and did not need Hubble to send me any more.

I called and canceled my subscription, even though their website says: YOU'RE IN CONTROL.

You can easily cancel or modify your Hubble subscription to suit your needs. That is not true. You have to call them and wait and wait on hold to get to someone.

Today I find a charge on my credit card for a package that is apparently en route. I called Hubble, and they casually explained it was no problem just write "return to sender" on the box and return.

What they didn't explain is that I'll be charged $5 for them sending a box I NEVER ordered.

Be careful. I think this is a scam.

Blurry vision

By Joshua Eubanks, San Antonio, TX, Verified Reviewer

I'm on a tight budget so I decided to try Hubble. I got my first box, and everything is blurry. It was never stated that they only work with mild astigmatism. I am VERY unhappy and will NEVER use Hubble again. Waste of money!
