Seeds emptied so fast it wasn't even 10 square feet and I had it set to light seed. I used two bags and no way did it cover more than three square feet. What a waste.

The commercial shows you can just spray it on. What they don't tell you is that you have to break up the soil 3 inches before you can spray it on. Also, I didn't get the extra bag as promised. Do not buy it and save your money.

My negative review is the fact that I have never received the stuff for one. I ordered the Hydro Mousse on or about November 2014 and my card was charged $111.60. I only wanted the one order as advertised plus the free one plus shipping & handling. In January they corrected the mistake. Meanwhile, I have bare ground awaiting this stuff. As of 4-23-2015, I still have not received my Hydro Mousse.
Update: we are now at 5/25/2015. Still no product. Refund is in order. I don't need this.

Please save your money. About 30% of the seed remains in spray container. The seed does not disburse evenly. The green dye lasts about 10 minutes then fades away. It Does not cover the square footage claim. It's been10 days and not one sign of seed growth.

Followed all directions and tips and recommendations. Be careful, the foaming agent (green stuff) will stain everything it comes into contact with. I don't know what they used on TV but this stuff is nothing like is shown on the tube. It came out sort of foamy, but the green foam disappears in seconds and then you have green dirt with some sort of green seed. It came out fast and emptied in about 30 seconds. I don't know why they provide such a well made sprayer for something that is so crappy. You would be better off using good seed and a little black dirt to cover it. You have to keep it wet anyway until it grows. Spraying it on carpet as shown on TV - ha - at best its a joke, at worst it's a rip off.

This product is crap, total waste of money. After two weeks -- and a lot of water -- the seeds are just in the dirt. Nothing. Total waste of time and money. $40 to be exact.

Followed the directions and found it not user friendly. Better off filling the tub with the seeds and green fertilizer first, then screw the sprayer on, then connect the hose and turn on the water. Seeds for approximately one and a half minutes before running out.
Will follow up with another review if and when I see growth.

Sprayer did not work, lots of seed and green dye left in the sprayer, ground showed little grass seed. We ended up spending $50 on grass seed with a little green dye and a spray bottle that didn't work. No money back guarantee. If this is not a scam, I'll eat my hat. By the way, no grass came up except what we sowed out of our own Fescue bag with a little fertilizer. Don't fall for this. Plus it took two days to get the dye off my hands, and forget about getting it out of clothes.

This product is not worth the time and effort it takes to even mess with it. After applying the seed, half was still in the bottom of the container. They claim in 7 days grass will start to grow. It has been 12 days and nothing yet. I am going to prep the yard again and plant Scotts grass seed and go from there. I was very disappointed.

I would not recommend product to anyone. The bottle is awkward to use, the solution spills out and when you try to turn the dial it shoots out, majority of the seed stays in the bottom of the bottle. I recommend sticking to the old fashioned way of planting grass, topsoil, starter fertilizer, quality grass seed and water. With this method you will see results in 7 days with watering twice a day.
