Hydro Mousse Liquid Lawn

We purchased the Hydro Mousse from K-mart as it is available in stores in our area. We used it on our front lawn, and side of the house, and nothing. I followed directions completely, in fact, we sprayed it twice on both areas and had a good soft shower along with us watering it, and still nothing.

We certainly would not recommend this product, and I would certainly consider it a SCAM.

I sprayed this Hydro Mousse onto my lawn. My hands turned green and this product certainly doesn't appear to be the same as what's shown on TV.

Never have I purchased a product that promised so much and delivered so little. Needless to say, it is absolutely nothing like the advert. The "mousse" is a thin pale green liquid that is expelled and promptly disappears leaving, guess what, grass seed. The applicator delivers too much seed and fertilizer too quickly leaving you spraying nothing but water. Does it grow? Yes, some of it does but save your money and but some quality seed, and it will do the same at a fraction of the cost.

I bought the product and used it according to all instructions including after seeding instructions. It does not spray very well and it does not grow much at all. I called the company and was told to send pictures and then would I receive a refund. I did this and then was subsequently told that I only receive a refund for the unused product that is not a guarantee. The product is used and certainly cannot be taken out of the ground to send back. Stay away from this product unless you want to burn your money. The customer reps lied to me and came up with more nonsense that I haven't heard in a long time. Stay away.

I applied product as instructed. I did not get any grass to grow. I went to complain to company, but no way to contact them. A waste of $20 - very dissatisfied. I wish the company would do the decent thing and refund me.

I haven't used the product yet. Before it could even get to me, the company was on the phone calling to tell that since I'm a "preferred customer", they were sending me some whiz-bang package of super saving discount cards that would save me all this money. All I'd have to do if I wasn't fully satisfied was call their toll free number within a certain time frame and I wouldn't be charged the full $29.95. Back up there a minute, Wouldn't be "charged the full amount" of what?!

Turns out they've already got my credit card information, so they plan to charge my card WITHOUT my authorization and I'd have to call them to cancel the sale. Mind you, this transaction has nothing to do with the Hydro Mousse purchase (which I already regret making before I've even received the product, teaches me to look up product reviews before making an impulse purchase online). Avoid Hydro Mousse at all costs.

Don't waste your money. I tilled dirt, plus added new top soil, watered everyday and after three weeks, no grass started to grow. I got a bag of Scott's seed and after a week of new seeding, grass was growing fine. Just try the seed from the store and any kind is better than this Hydro Mousse. I gave 1 star because I can't give less.

Hydro Mousse apparently sells their product through a telemarketing company who now has my phone number and harasses me daily wanting to give me a free $100.00 gas card. I would suggest not to order the product unless you like being harassed dally by schemers. Hydro Mousse's address shows as 400 Return road Wallingford CT. Property owner shows to be a telemarketing company in California. From my experience and from what I've read I think I'll just throw the Hydro Mousse in the trash.

Bought it used it, did not even do what they showed on TV. Wasted $20 and my time in the heat trying to get grass to grow. Biggest rip off I have ever seen. My yard is just as bare now as it was before I applied this stuff. All I really did was water the bare spot. I don't know how they get it to work on TV, must be trickery. Do not, I repeat do not waste your money on this product.

Hydro Mousse is a HUGE disappointment! It doesn't apply to your lawn as nice as they show in the commercial or on their website. All of the seed mix comes spewing out at once and can't be evenly applied. All you really get is an expensive spray applicator and seed that doesn't come in as advertised. I went to Walmart and bought a bag of seed and applied it with a hand spreader and got better results. Too bad I can't get my money back for their empty sprayer.
