Hydro Mousse Liquid Lawn

Three weeks and "0" germination on a 15 x 15' area - two bags. In Victoria BC if it doesn't grow its dead. This seed was a complete waste of money. The packages must be so old the seed is past any chance of germination. No other explanation - three waterings a day, ambient temperature of 15-20C - and this is over seeding! No sign of germination.

I decided to order Hydro Mousse after seeing so many commercials. They made it look so easy and super great stuff. Ha, ha what a joke. It does not spray green foam, they don't tell you on TV you have to plant the seed after you spray it on and water it every single day. It's not worth the money, it's a joke and they are making billions off it. They need to be sued for false advertisement, these people get away with ripping people off and lying to them.

I have been using this product for three years. We apply in late October and early March. We see incredible results with Lush beautiful grass. It's a blend of Frecus tall and red, Kentucky blue and hybrid rye. Our lawns were neglected by previous owner. Now with proper grass food (fertilizer) from Menards, the best, forget all that Scotts stuff our lawn is awesome. Hydro Mousse for the bare spots blend great and looks great. If I had the money I would tear up the entire lawn and do it with Hydro Mousse. We ordered the pro kits (2) 1,000 square feet. The only difference we did was a thin covering of top soil over the finished spray due to inquisitive birds. You must water three times a day.

I really detest these dodo's who write reviews and wreck a great product. You should never base judgments on the few. Do your research.

I bought this thinking that this as seen on TV product would finally work. Just like those really cool expanding hoses that burst all the time. Non the less I followed the instructions to a tee and no grass to be found. I got more green on my hands than grew on the lawn. The green stuff is funny because it reminded me of the famous GLH for covering bald spots on your head, in this case your lawn. Stay away. They took me for 40 bucks. So disappointed.

This product is a scam, save your money. Go with a reputable brand like Scotts or any other brand that have be on the market for a long time, not with fly-by-night company. If you buy this product you are going to regret it like me. Instead of $19.95, it cost me $93.99. So please, do not buy.

Do not buy. I followed all the directions. First of all it's not a mousse that comes out, it's a green water with some seeds. The ground never foamed up and it only covered 5×5 square feet before it turned back to clear water. All it did was turned that section green. Awful product, bought two bottles at Home Depot. And I gave Home Depot a review about it and they rejected my review. I guess they have too many in stock and they don't want it to sit at the store if people kept giving bad reviews.

I found the sprayer difficult to use, the seed came up very sparsely and seed was left at the bottom of the sprayer. I tried very hard and was so disappointed. It would have been much easier just to spread the seed on the ground. It is a total farce. Do not send for it.

I ordered this product October 23, 2015 and never received it. To make things worse, the company won't acknowledge my order or reply to me even though I sent them a copy of the order confirmation. Save your money. Not trustworthy!

Hydro Mousse did not work what so ever. In fact in ruined my yard and killed my grass!

I tried this product yesterday and got some powder on my hands. As soon as water touched my hands, they turned a bright green. I have been washing them for 2 days and the green just keeps coming back. As far as grass, I don't know as I just used it, but I am assuming that it will not work. Don't waste your money.

I purchased five kits of this product. I brought in new top soil and followed the instructions exactly. The sprayer kept clogging and it basically sprayed out the green covering, however the seeds stayed in the sprayer. Finally, after several tries, I decided to try spreading it by hand. By the way, I did this in July.

I watered generously according to the instructions. Nothing!

No grass grew throughout the summer, nor did any grass come up this spring. I finally had to have the area sodded.

This product is worthless. I'm sorry I ever spent the money.

I would never recommend this product to anyone.
